...Remember...
A crumpled flyer has wormed it’s way under the door to the mostly empty room. The same room that contains our new friend Marf Swaysons. He was lost in thought, sitting on his creaky chair in the dark. The noise from the flyer brings those beautiful blue eyes back into focus.
Marf: Hello there. What is this strange, gratefully accepted distraction?
Quicker than a predator snatches the prey it spent the last several hours watching, Marf grabs hold of the odd flyer and looks it over. A slow, ghastly grin stretches out on his face.
Marf: Well now this is just crazy! Is someone trying to get me to join their rinky dink cult? Haven’t I been there and done that somewhere before?
Hasn’t everyone?
I swear I remember even being...in charge of some such group at some point or another from what I recall...
...remember...
Marf gives his head a quick shake before he winds up drifting off to wherever it is he goes. He looks back down at his hands to look at the flyer one more time. The flyer that is no longer there. Was it ever there?
Marf: Nevermind...
