After the show's conclusion we see Theo Pryce back in his shitty little makeshift office with an ice pack on his head and a drink in his hand as Steve Sayors XWF's exclusive interviewer and a camera man approach.
Theo Pryce now that night one of Relentless is over would you mind if we ask you a couple questions?
You're already here but make it quick. I get uncomfortable when men are around while I ice my balls.
A lot of fans and even some of the men and women in the back were left a little confused by the way your match with Chris Chaos ended. Some going so far as to wonder whether your feud with Chris Chaos was a charade and that the two of you are actually working together..
Whoa whoa whoa let me stop you right there. I don't work with losers and make no mistake about it Steve, that is exactly what Chris Chaos is. A perpetual loser. There are three things you can count on in this life, death, taxes and Chris Chaos blowing a golden opportunity.
So then why not beat him and send him packing? Why keep him here if he's a loser?
Entertainment? My own personal happiness? Firing him is easy, I don't need to beat him in a wrestling match to do that. Chris Chaos will never be anything more than what he is today. My legacy as one of the all time greats was cemented long before Chris Chaos ever stepped foot into the XWF while Chris Chaos is still piddling around trying to figure his out. I didn't need to beat him. He NEEDED to beat me. And he couldn't. The match was over and just as I was about to pin him I had an epiphany, why let him off the hook? Why fire him when I could just walk away, let him get the "win" and then sit back and watch him fail again. And again. And again.
Chris Chaos isn't here because he was the better wrestler tonight. We all KNOW he wasn't. Chris is here because he's a monkey that is going to continue to dance for me. Chris Chaos will face and lose to whoever the Universal Champ is come the next Pay Per View and I am going to be sitting front row center enjoying every second of it knowing that Chris Chaos is going to be in agony over another failed title shot because of ME. Chris Chaos is a loser. Tonight. Tomorrow. Always.
Now if you'll excuse me Steve I need to adjust my ice pack.
The scene fades out as Steve and the camera man exit stage left-ish.
