METRO RADIO ARENA
NEWCASTLE, ENGLAND
LOCKER ROOM OF MASTERMIND
Mastermind had just arrived in Newcastle, England at the Metro Radio Arena, and he finds Kris The Hammer Von Bonn and Melanie 'Crayzee' Childs pacing around talking to themselves with their boss Antony The Jerk watching on.
"What's this then?" asked Mastermind
"I have something different for you today, Mastermind," replied Antony
"Oh yes, go on?"
"Imagine if you will, Kris is Chris Chaos, and Melanie is Centurion. They will both quote from the two and it's up to you to respond to them, hence the reason for the live feed here,"
"Oh, that does sound like an unusually good idea."
"Then get ready and we will start."
Mastermind smirks and walks over to a chair and sits down. He looks over at Antony and nods.
"I'm ready."
" Mr. Von Bonn, you can go first," said Antony
Kris walks forwards towards Mastermind, and stops.
"A man who claimed he was a legend with a losing record when a man greener than crabgrass took his title in his second match ever."
Mastermind nods and thought for a few seconds.
"I never said I was a legend like you always say you are a legend, but you don't have legendary status because you are always finding ways to exploit that situation but we always know that you tend to talk a lot of talks but never walk the walk. You are great like that Chaos.
"Now as for that stupid fucking comment that you made about me losing the Television title to that fuckwit Hanari Carnes. Yes, I did just that. I was caught off guard by taking someone lightly. but it was only because I knew who Hanari really was. You should know that yourself Chris. You get compared to a lot of people. But anyway I drop my guard to a fuckwit and paid for it by losing my title. I take full responsibility for that. When haven't I stood up and took responsibility? When have you ever stood up and did the same, Chris?"
"Mastermind, a man who has been floating around in a wasteland of suckage since then, gets to compete for one of these company's most prestigious titles!"
Mastermind smirks before responding. "I don't think I have been rolling around in suckage as you put it, Chris. Only you would know what it is like to roll around in a wasteland of suckage, to be able to compare it to others. So you must have stunk a lot. You still do."
"Miss Childs your turn," said Antony
Melanie walks forward and curtseys to Mastermind. Mastermind just rolls his eyes.
"I'm Centurion now boss,"
"I get that, Melanie. Just start,"
"How fucking desperate do you have to be as a manager when Mastermind is on the top of your list of people you want to manage? More importantly, how bad are Melanie and Kris that they need to be LEAD by Mastermind, a wrestler with one of the worst winning percentages in the XWF? That's not just bad - it's embarrassing,".
Mastermind thinks for a moment before responding.
"Not as embarrassing as still thinking that you are part of a stable and that most members have disappeared. Like where the hell is Drew? Or even Robert? or even James Raven? or even Ned and what about BigD? Is your stable still intact?
"Let's take Robert Main, after capturing the tag titles with Drew and extending the courtesy to Raven he then loses the titles but then wins the damn thing with Chris Page. He's doing his own thing now.
"Drew's nowhere to be seen, so too Ned has disappeared.
"But Raven still hangs around you. Or should I say you still hang around Raven like a bad smell?
"So instead of calling my stable embarrassing look at your neck of the woods and think for one moment.
"I created the Misfits, so there's no desperation in that for my members to be led by me. They are free to go whenever they want. They've told me themselves that they want to stay and make a name for themselves as a stable. Whether it's with me in team competition, or alone. They have my 100 percent support. Does your stable still support you? Maybe James does."
"I warned Kris and Krazy Eyes Mel that they should dump Antony, but they didn't listen. No, they thought sticking with his services was a good idea. Well, now here we are - what was once two promising talents are now acting as bodyguards for a man who can barely tie his own shoes."
Mastermind smirks before responding.
"Both Kris and Melanie are not acting as my bodyguards, because as you well know being in a stable you support one another. You should know, your stable was successful for a long time before it was torn apart, and most of your people lost their titles. Melanie and Kris are free to compete whenever they want to, but at the moment it's all about me, you and Chris. You should stop throwing stones at glass houses and look in your own mirror before casting assertions."
"Back to Kris,"
Melanie steps back, and Kris steps forward.
"The type of guy who would throw a flashbang into a room full of epileptic children. The man who thinks he is better than he is."
Mastermind nods and then responds.
"Chaos, I don't think I am better than I am, I know I am that good. I have gotten much better, and I can compete with everyone. You may not think that, but I don't fucking give a damn what you think. Because I am who I am. And if I believe and know that I AM GOOD."
"You really are pathetic. Just like Centurion tries to justify his wins, you try to justify your losses."
"Okay here's the thing Choas. And I want to make sure that you and Centurion both get this point. I do not justify my losses, I just my own record. From when I first started out in the XWF to this point. Am I not allowed to say how I have improved, it's what you guys do the fucking time. You guys are both hypocrites. Both sprouting bulshit to make it sound that you guys only think that you know what you are doing when you don't. So don't think for one second that my facts and figures are bullshit because it's me saying what I am saying because it's true."
"Bring it home to an ending, please, Melanie."
Kris steps backwards, and Melanie walks back and looks at her notes.
Holding the Television Title for over 100 days and not facing anyone of note in that time period.
Mastermind quickly responded.
"Let's get this over with so I don't; have to waste any more time on this subject. When I first returned to the XWF, it was a complete mess. There was no one significant of note around. Those who were significant were in championship roles, so, therefore, it was a long period of time for those champions to be able to hold on to their titles.
"So basically I'm saying that back in late 2018 the XWF was experiencing the worse case of roster turnover in years, the roster was at its weak point. So I was able to come back and beat the no names quite easily. And there were a lot of no-names. Because of that, I was able to win the Television Title in my first month back, and because of that, I was able to go 129 Day run as Television Champion.
"I don't care it was in a point of time that it was the weakest time in XWF history, I still competed and I still kept the Television Title until I didn't. But I just wanted to let you know Centurion, why I had to explain myself to a dipshit like you. Because it was relevant. And sometimes you don't care for relevancy even though it has to be told."
"you're the kind of wrestler who does the least amount of work possible in order to go after your opponent. You read a roster page, maybe watch a match or two, and that's it. Everyone else you just make up."
"Now you are just blowing smoke out of your ass. I was wondering what that stink was. You of course. I do more work than anyone, including you. I do research and I make sure that I get things right. You just talk the shit out of things. You talk and hope mud sticks. And you do that so well that you've become a professional shit talker."
John Holliday, Kid Kool, "Broken" Oswald Autem Sephtis - that's certainly a mouthful - Dax Harris, and Peter Gilmour before dropping the belt to Hanari Carnes
"Wow just wow, you did your homework. I know how you did that too. You didn't go back through the history files and just look for that information, that would have taken too long for someone like you to do. Someone like me who love stats would do that. But that was too hard and too time expensive for just you.
"Instead, you just went to my stats page that I keep and update after every match. Sometimes I wait a while, but it's lucky for you I did that, and so you took all that information from there and sprouted it out of your mouth your own thoughts on the subject. You distorted things like you always do as I've just mentioned earlier. Need I go on? No, I don't fucking want to.
"In fact, I think we've all heard enough. I've said what I've said. Chris Chaos has said all he said, and so too has Centurion. All that needs to be done, is for us to meet in that ring in a few hour's time, and wrestle. At the end of the day, is night, at the end of the night, I WILL BE HOLDING THE HART TITLE A LOFT AS THE NEW HART CHAMPION and Chaos and Centurion can just fuck off."
Mastermind looks at Antony.
"I like that style. May use it again sometime."
Antony nods, and Mastermind gets up and walks off, followed by Antony, and then Kris and Melanie followed Antony. The camera then fades out.
