TITLES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS |
A lot of people throw around the term ‘owner’ and don’t quite understand the gravity of the statement. I want every one of you droolers to look in the mirror tomorrow morning after you look at your bank account and the giant poster you have of yourself in your bedroom and realize one thing: JAMES RAVEN is a big reason why you are here. He’s a big reason you’ve made it to whatever mountain you consider yourself perched on top of. He has recruited for this place, he’s sweat and bled buckets for this place, and probably most importantly – he has never half-assed a goddamn thing for this place. That’s why he’s a legend, and I can’t think of anybody that deserves it more. They say you should keep your friends close and keep your enemies closer. Over the past four years JAMES and I have been on both ends of that. One way or another, I would highly suggest each and every one of you do the same. I’ve been in the ring with a lot of the guys in the Hall of Legends. For my money, none of them are head and shoulders above JAMES. In terms of overall contribution to the XWF, JAMES might be head and shoulders above every one of them.

Being inactive allows me to monitor all the great XWF Stars who climb the ranks of the federation day to day, and James Raven is one of the biggest stars The Brand has ever seen. I remember the earlier part of his career that started full of potential and lead to a quick ascension up the ranks. James let everyone know early he was an elite talent had this spot in Hall reserved for him early on. He knows how to entertain the crowds and talk trash with the best of 'em, and that's just why The Primo likes him. That's a rare combo that leads to a special talent. There's been plenty of elite Universal Champions, but not everyone is ushered into the Hall. Those ranks are reserved for a rare few...

In character, we have our history. Out of character, he's one of the few people in the e-fed world that I'd consider a real friend. One of the best writers I've ever seen and never one to deny his capabilities, JAMES RAVEN is deserving of this spot in the Hall more so than most. Not only did he work his way up the roster from Impact star to Universal Champion but he even took the plunge into the backstage area when he took over as the owner of the XWF.
JAMES is a great person and a great writer and has achieved more in his few years here than some people have their entire careers. Most definitely one of the biggest names to have ever graced the XWF.

James Raven is the epitome of what it means to be the "perfect" e-fedder. Not only does he always wow you with his consistency in both creativity and roleplaying content, but he will write you a classic match and take the reins of the fed if he has too. He is everything you like to see in this game and was a first ballot hall of famer in every definition of the term...gratz well deserved.

James Raven... man... the history... looking back, I remember myself being one of your first victims. Ever since then, you just kept on rising to the top. It didn't take long for control to be yours, both inside the show, and on the boards. You're a great guy to know, and an amazing writer. You deserve every accolade you've received, and every recognition you've gotten. You are not only a legend in the XWF, but also in the e-fedding world. It's funny. Looking back, I used to see you as my "equal." But now...you're ten steps in front of what I'll ever be. And it's right where you belong..

I've been paying attention to the XWF since 2008 (when I mistook it for another XWF, long story.) And ever since I've browsed through the XWF, James Raven has been there. Since he started on Impact and I laughed him off just based on the name alone... but I watched him rise to the top throughout that entire year, achieving accolades left and right. And then, some months into when I finally got off the sidelines and began roleplaying, I faced him in a random six or so man match on a Massacre. I remembered going in all cocky and ready to take him apart, only for him to crush me with less than a paragraph. In the past few years, I've always kept an eye on him, and have watched him ascend to where he is. The story of the XWF for the last few years has been HIS story, bar none, and watching him get there, and do everything from main eventing to ownership, has been flat out incredible. On top of that, he's always ready with an encouraging word or an OOC joke that makes me laugh. I admire James Raven like no other.

I don't know what to say exactly, but looking at JAMES RAVEN'S name I feel that something should be said. RAVEN you've started out at the beginning. You were there in the Impact (The Ryan Brothers) era. A lot of people from that era are gone. You're not. You ran this fed and busted your ass doing so. You never got big-headed. You did everything for other feds that you could. You showed them love, you joined those feds to give them members. You help out everywhere you could. You never asked for anything in return. Not to mention all your accomplishments within the XWF. James Raven you truly belong on this list. I've watched you grow as a fedder and I'm proud to see the way you've turned out.

Wrestler, champion, owner, and all around good guy, James "Do-Right" Raven. We've had our differences, we have our different points of view, but from the moment you stepped into the ring for the first time, I could tell you were something special.. And here we are. So congratulations to you, James.. You earned it.

What else can be said about James that hasn't already been said. James you are a great person out of character, you are always there to help out everyone else with constructive criticism of their writing just trying to help them get better. I was kind of a stepping stone for you since you beat me to win your first ever championship here in the XWF. It was an honor to face you then and I would love the chance to do it again. Even though I'm sure the outcome would be the same. You really do deserve to be in the Hall of Legends after all you have done to help the XWF in your short time here.

I don't think I can come up with another name from the e-fed world who has shown more dedication, love and passion for the XWF... all while maintaining a level of professionalism and composure that is virtually unrivaled. James Raven is quite simply one of the biggest names to ever grace not just the XWF but the entire "sport" of e-fedding, and while we never spent all that much time in the XWF together, I consider it an honor to have my name connected to a place where his legacy is so remarkable and unforgettable.
