Power in numbers. In the XWF, more and more competitors are choosing to live by this idiotic mantra; in practice, more and more people will realize that the larger their group, the more weak links hold them down. Nobody understands this to the extent that Thomas Nixon does.

Once the weaknesses reveal themselves, the stables will collapse. Ax3 will crumble and the kings will lose their crowns. Everyone is trying to find someone to watch their back, but it seems that the second people make friends, they are either betrayed or let down.

These thoughts race through the mind of the Ambassador to the Lizards. His mind is spinning, he’s had a lot to consider over the last few weeks. As he walks through the backstage area of XWF’s latest live event, he spots Mario out of the corner of his eye.

Like a baby in a cradle, Mario is sleeping soundly. He seems to have fallen asleep in the corner of the locker room that Nixon happened to be passing. The smell of alcohol filled the room, thick fluid covers the ground not far from Super Mario. Coincidentally, there’s also a smashed beer can.

Relishing in the moment, Nixon considers the opportunity and heads towards the unconscious champion. On occasion, Nixon has contemplated challenging for the 24/7 championships, but he’s never made a pin attempt. Little by little, he slowly creeps next to Mario. Letting only his finger touch Mario’s chest, he makes the pin attempt. Unless Mario is a light sleeper, he hopes to win the championship. Putting his faith in a higher power, Nixon closes his eyes and crosses his fingers on his free hand.
