The Leviathan flew up right into a space battle. There were command fighters and space ships firing at the Nexus Program main base. The nexus weren't going to go down without a fight though, they had several AA guns shooting our fighters down. Griffin called me to tell Trent to fly to the back of the base and meet up the S.S.V Warsaw. The Warsaw is the legendary Zeta squad space ship, it's the biggest ship Command has ever made. When we got there I couldn't believe how bad ass that ship was. Me and Shawn put our helmets on and switched over to the Warsaw to meet with Griffin. When we got to him he shook our hands and started to tell us what our objective was. He told us that we needed to take a small team and take a fighter and slip in through the back. He then pointed where the little Fighter ship slot was. Me and Shawn told Griffin tank you for everything he's done for us and then we went back to the Leviathan. Since a fighter can only take four people I told Mark and Varen to come with me and Shawn. I took Mark and Varen because Mark knows how to fly a fighter and Varen is very skilled when it comes to vehicle turrets.
We slipped in to the back of the base and we landed as quietly as we could. We got out and looked for any doors that Bills could be in hiding in. We found a door but there was two guards in it. I asked Mark to unlock the door for us, good thing he's good at these things. We opened the door very quietly and Me and Shawn snuck up on the guards and slit their throats. When the third guard turned around Varen shot him between the eyes. I said "good thing I have a silencer huh?" The guards were guarding stairs that were leading downwards. We went down the stairs and found ourselves in a long Corridor. What's up with Dark corridors and being what seems like very where. We started to hear some reloading noises coming from a door a little ways down. I heard orders being made from the other side. Bills was defiantly in here. Varen Kicked the door down and we shot every Nexus trooper in the room. Bills was on a balcony sitting there smiling. Mark stabbed Shawn out of nowhere. Bills stood up and said that Mark was Bills best spy. Mark climbed a ladder to escape us and went to go man a turret next to Bills. A lot more soldiers showed up and I looked down at Shawn and Shawn smirked and pulled his pistol out.
When they all lifted their guns is when A window shattered above us and it was the rest of Delta squad jumping in. We all Got back to back and ready to fire our guns. even Shawn was able to stand up and get back to back. Mark started to crank the turret, We heard all of the soldiers put their guns on kill. Before Mark could start to shoot Shawn chucked a knife at mark hitting him right in the chest. Varen shot the first bullet and then it was an all out fire fight from there. I felt a bullet knick my arm but that wasn't nothing. I could sense a couple of bullets hit my squad but none of them had fallen yet. We took out every soldier. I climbed the ladder to get tot Bills, I grabbed him by his collar then I felt someone grab my ankle. Mark was still alive but bleeding out. I told Bloodlust to watch Bills while I deal with Mark. I pulled Mark up to his feet and I asked him why he would do this. He just kept laughing for no reason. I felt something touch my stomach. He had a pistol pressed against my stomach! He shot his pistol and I felt the bullet go straight inside of me.
Varen ran up the ladder and Kicked mark in the face and checked on me. I couldn't see anything except for the lights on the ceiling. I was finding it hard to breath. I fainted. The next thing I knew We were still in the room and I had been patched up, but by who no one here is a doctor. Doc then walked up to me and told me and Shawn were going to be fine it's just a scratch remember? I stood up and walked over to where Bills and Mark were sitting. I put my pistol up to mark and I asked him why I shouldn't just shoot him right now. He started to say that he is apart of Delta and you wouldn't...then I shot him and smiled and said "I wouldn't?" Then I turned my focus to Bills...I punched him across the face and told him that I'm not going to kill you but you're going to Command Prison for a very, very long time. Griffin walked up to me and I handed Bills to him and he looked at me and told me "Ben called you Commander right? Well looks like he's right, you deserve this Promotion, Commander." Him telling me that meant a lot to me.
When We got back to Gado Me and the rest of Delta squad all got medals for finding and killing Bills so we can now completely focus on getting rid of the Flokyoks. I was looking for my squad after the ceremony an when I walked back onto the Leviathan I got showered in Champagne. We all partied all night but the highlight of my night was with Jessica. It was before we were drunk and we had a nice conversation. I told her that she is really good at her job and she's always welcome to stay and Delta. She told me that she's going to have to leave delta in a month so she can go help Doc with the Lazarus program. I told that was ok but I wanted something to remember with. Ok I was maybe a little buzzed but hey I've always had a warm spot for Jessica. I learned over to kiss her and we made out for a minute and then I took her to my bedroom and damn did stuff go down in that bedroom.
When I woke up in the morning I was looking around and found everyone a mess, except for Bloodlust he was just, gone. I don't know where he went but I hope he comes back because he's damn good at what he does. I found Shawn asleep in the shower that was on, I found Varen shoved inside the fridge, Adam upside down hovering over the galaxy map. I couldn't wait to work with these people again. We are surely going to have to go on a mission against the Flokyoks soon enough but last night and today are our break, We after all do deserve it...
