The University of California, Los Angeles. aka UCLA is located in the Westwood neighborhood in the great City of Los Angeles. Los Angeles is home to such sports teams as the Lakers and Dodgers as well as XWF great Peter Gilmour and now the home of the XWF's newest member, Flynn Andrew Cole-Ericson. In his last promo Flynn informed his parents that not only would he be moving to L.A to live in the sweet compound owned by Brick Squad member Dick Powers but that he would be enrolling in classes at UCLA starting with the upcoming summer semester. And so it is on this fine sunny and 65 degree day that we find Flynn walking about the UCLA campus checking out the grounds and of course every attractive co-ed that he sees. Which if you have never been to UCLA is basically every single co-ed ever.

ALL THE CO-EDS.

As the camera zooms in we see Flynn walking into a building that reads "Murphy Hall". The scene then quickly transitions to the interior of the building where we see Flynn looking over the building's directory scanning it with not just his eyes but his right index finger until he comes to Suite 1105, Registrar's Office. Flynn then backs away from the Directory on the wall and begins wandering down the hallway until he comes to a door with the words "Registrars Office" painted onto the window. He grabs the door's knob, turns it 90 degrees and then pushes the door open. Once inside the Registrar's Office Flynn approaches a middle aged woman seated behind a desk. He waits for the woman to stop what she is doing rather than interrupt her. It takes a few seconds but the women finishes typing away on her keyboard and then she looks up from her screen at Flynn.

"May I help you?" The woman says with a smile.

"I sure hope so." Flynn reaches into his pocket and pulls out a folded up piece of paper. He carefully unfolds the piece of paper and hands it to the woman. "I received this letter saying that I needed to either report here or go online and register for classes for the summer semester. Since I had not been on campus yet I thought it best to show up in person. Get the lay of the land so to speak and register for classes. Two birds, one stone. You know how it goes."

"Very smart." The woman says with a hint of sarcasm behind her words.

"I thought so."

"Well you found the Registrar's Office so that's half the fun. I take it now you would like help picking your classes?"

"That would be extremely helpful yes."

"Ok. Give me one second to bring your profile up on my computer." The woman says as she turns her attention back to her screen.

"Of course. Would you mind if I had a seat?"

"Sure go ahead." She says without diverting her eyes away from her screen.

The woman alternates her attention between her screen and the letter that Flynn handed her. After a few moments studying them both she turns her attention back to Flynn, handing him the letter in the process.

"Ok so you are registering for the summer session. As you may or may not know the number of classes available for the summer semester is limited compared to that of our Fall and Spring Semesters. So with that being said your best bet is to try and get some of your common core classes out of the way."

"Common core?" Flynn asks.

"Yes. Every student in search of an undergraduate degree needs to meet their common core requirements in addition to the requirements set forth by their elected major. Common core classes are usually very similar regardless of your major but not always. Do you know what your major is going to be?"

"Yes I do. Biological Chemistry."

"Ok. Let me check the computer."

The woman punches a few keys and a moderate list shows up on her screen. With her right hand she grabs the side of her monitor and turns it in Flynn's direction so that he may also see the screen.

"Ok so here is a list of classes you can take that would help you meet some of your common core requirements. As you can see here most of the classes are entry level, meaning they are either 100 or 200 level classes. Typically freshmen load up on 100 level classes but not always. If you look to the right of the class name it tells you the dates and times the classes will take place. For instance Trigonometry is a 100 level course that is held every Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 12:45 AM from May 4th through June 5th. Do you see how it works?"

"Yes I think I do."

"Ok. Another thing, because this is the Summer Session you can take as few or as many credits as you would like. Typically the classes run for five consecutive weeks. For about five hours a day."

"I see."

"How about I print out a copy of this list and then you take sometime to figure out what classes you want to take. Once you are done you come back here and I will help you register for them? Maybe walk around campus a little more. It's such a beautiful day."

"That's a great idea. Thank you so much for the offer."

The woman smiles and Flynn and then with a quick tap of her keyboard sends a command to the computer and a moment later a piece of paper is ejected from the printer behind her. She swings around in her chair, grabs the piece of paper and then hands it to Flynn.

"I'll be here until 5:00 o'clock. Take your time."

"I will definitely be back before then. Thank you so much for all your help." Flynn says as he grabs the piece of paper from the woman.

Flynn gets up from his seat, smiles at the woman again and the exits the room so that he may continue his walkabout campus.

Hey Scully bro I really dug that promo you did the other day. Really bro. That video was laugh out loud funny. Kudos to you and your boy Mav for being the guys that put the final nail in the coffin of the once big bad Defiance. The guys who were more bad than big. No matter how hard they tried to be the opposite. But never the matter. Scully and Mav, Mav and Scully, two brothers from different mothers took the last ounce of respect from Defiance and just like that another chapter in the XWF's book of failed stables comes to a close. But enough about the past. Let's talk about the present.

Slim Scully like I said, I loved the promo bro. I think it's really awesome that you call us the Backstreet Boys. Seriously bro if we can end up being half as successful as those guys than I think everyone of us will thank our lucky stars. Seriously bro. Those guys won like half a dozen grammys and made millions of dollars singing songs and making girls scream their names. Now I don't know about you two bros but I'd call that a pretty sweet gig right? So yeah man, thanks for comparing us to one of the best selling musical groups of all time. And I tend to agree with you bro, the sky really is the limit for us in Brick Squad.

Who knows maybe even you guys in The Black Hand will be able to make a name for yourselves. You can be the LFO to our Backstreet Boys. Or maybe even 98 Degrees if you are really lucky. It wouldn't even shock me bro if you and Mav ended up being actual brothers like those Lechey guys.

I gotta say though bro I really dig what you and Mav are trying to do with the tag team division. As you've made it very clear, I haven't been around very long and in your eyes didn't have to work hard so to you I don't deserve this tag team title match but I gotta say bro, I won my matches just the same as you've won yours. I may not have won a tag team title contenders match like you and Mav did but we didn't need to. We skipped that step and decided to challenge the champs. After all you guys talk about wanting to be defending champs and fighting champs and I'm all for that bro. We figured that Brick Squad would be your first opponents because we wanted to help you build up that rep as fighting champs. We wanted to help you reestablish the tag team division as something important.

Like I said, I haven't been around for very long bro but even still I've been able to go through the XWF archives alittle bit and see that Team , and I apologize for even using that word bro, I don't like using that word at all but seeing as how you and Mav are on the Mount Rushmore of morons I guess that makes it ok right? After all you call yourself the resident r-tard so I guess that makes it kosher if others say it right? Sorry if it doesn't bro. Just let me know and I won't say it again I promise bro. I'm not trying to offend or nothing. But like I was saying man, I really dig what you guys are doing with the tag division. It's pretty obvious that you two guys are the best tag team champs to come along in a while. You guys ended Defiance, a team that didn't even win the titles to begin with. They had to buy them off of The Kings. I guess John Samuels and Theo Pryce's day passes from the retirement home expired and they decided to sell the tag titles rather than take em with em. That's cool though. But before The Kings it was your daddy and some guy named Jack. Or is Jack a bunch of people? I'm a little unclear on that. I don't even really feel like going further back bro because the point is you guys won the titles fair and square and now you guys are going to defend the titles like the true fighting champs that you are. Even if one of you did try and back out of the match at the last second. But it's cool bro. I get it. Mav probably didn't think that I would win my first match, or my second match so he thought that if he put that clause out there that I'd lose and you two dudes would get to sit on the titles like the champions before you and the champions before them.

But that didn't happen did it bro? Na bro it didn't. I won both my matches and I'm fixing to win my third on Wednesday night and with that the tag team titles.

I really dug your little story that you told. That was a real Lewis Carroll level literary piece bro. Did you happen to see Alice and the Mad Hatter while you ventured down the rabbit hole? Now bro far be it for me to tell you how to live your life but don't you feel bad lying to everyone like that? Maybe it's because of your mental limitations that you can't tell the difference between right and wrong but where I come from it's wrong to lie and you sir, when you told that fictitious, that means fake by the way, when you told that tale you lied. To me, to the fans but most of all, you lied to yourself. Don't do that bro. Otherwise I might have to call you Pinnochio. Ok...bro?

Oh and bro, congratulations on becoming a father. That's really awesome that your little swimmers despite your mental shortcomings were able to find the target so to speak. Speaking of looking out for people, Mav what's up man? Thanks so much for eventually agreeing to this tag team title match. I know you probably feel like you were put in a tough spot, what with you wanting to back out of the match and your new daddy even going so far as publicly saying he was rooting against you for doing so but I appreciate that you let the GM book the match despite your objections. That was really big of you bro. I’m just sorry that you boned yourself out of an Xtreme title match in the process. Maybe next time bro.

I gotta hand it to you man it has to be hard to get up every day when you have a stable leader that is actively rooting against you and forcing you into things you don’t want to be involved in and a father who calls you a coward. That has to be tough man. Kudos to you for being able to tough it out. Lesser men than yourself would have folded under the weight of it all. So big ups to you my good man.

I gotta ask though bro, how is it that are part of a tag team but had no say in the team’s name? Or more over how are you part of a stable you don’t even want to be part of?

Since you and your boy Scully like to tell stories let me tell you one of my own. It’s actually a history lesson more so than a story but you’ll get the gist. I hope. I apologize in advance if you don’t get it, what with you being mentally deficient and all. But I promise I'll try and "dumb it down" for you as much as possible without ruining the integrity of the story.

Several hundred years ago these guys from England, mostly farmers decided that they no longer wanted to be persecuted for their beliefs so they packed up their stuff, got on some boats and sailed across the Atlantic Ocean and settled on this big piece of rock now known as the United States of America. They fought a big war, maybe you’ve heard of it, the Revolutionary War. Long story short those farmers from England with the help of our bros the French won and as a result we American’s have this really cool thing called freedom. Freedom to not be persecuted. Freedom to make our own decisions. Freedom of religion etc. What that means bro is that you have the freedom to help pick your team name and you have the freedom to say no to Pest. You should really try it bro. I bet it would change your outlook on things. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you bro. I really hate seeing the mentally handicapable being taken advantage of so if there is anything at all that I can do help you out let me know ok?

I really appreciate that you decided to start calling us Team Pothead as opposed to the name you had previously given us. While this one isn’t entirely accurate it’s certainly more family friendly than the previous iteration. So thanks for that bro. I appreciate how you recognized my aversion to swear words and decided to do me a solid there. Really means a lot man. When this is all said and done and Carson and I win I hope we can all be bros? Like I said before this isn’t personal man. Just business. You seem like a pretty good dude and I am all for helping the slow. Maybe we can do some charity work or something? Do you need a big bro? I’ve always wanted to sign up for that program. Maybe we can get something going what do you think?

Bro in your last promo you seemed to have some frustration with Upper Management for forcing you into this match. I do want to remind you that you did originally accept this match based on me meeting certain criteria. Which I did. Twice over. Yes you tried to get out of it but originally you said yes and that’s what management went on. You seem to think that as a champion you get a large say in who you face but based on what I’ve seen in the short time I’ve been here that doesn’t seem to be the case at all. For instance Gator and Justin Sane had no say in who they faced. All they knew was that they would face the winners of a contenders match but they had no say in who those contenders were. Sebastian Duke and Vinnie Lane have had no say in who they have faced recently. Again, they’ve faced guys who have won contenders matches. The feds Universal Champion opted in to defend his title next week. He didn’t name an opponent, management is picking for him. So I guess what I’m trying to say bro is that part of being a champion means defending your titles whenever management tells you to and or whenever you want to but it’s not solely based on what you want to do. I’m really sorry that you feel the way you do. Not sure where you got your signals crossed bro but hopefully now you know how it really works. But hey you should actually consider yourself fortunate because you did get to pick your opponents this week. Even if you did try and squirm out of it at the last minute but originally you got to pick your opponents, that’s pretty cool right? Way to go bro. You went against the grain.

I want to address one last thing bro and that’s this notion that because Carson and I are basically rookies that we have to wait at the back of the line before we get to challenge you guys. I heard a similar argument made in regards to my bro Bruce giving title shots to guys while ignoring the fact that Karl Cross is the number one contender to the title. You’re right bro when you say that guys like Vinnie Lane and Mastermind and Peter Gilmour are all eligible for title shots and maybe you could say they are all number one contenders, sort of but you see what you seem to be missing, what a lot of people seem to not understand is being a number one contender doesn’t mean that the champions can’t have any other matches until you get yours. It just means that whenever the number one contender wants to call in their chip they get pushed to the front of the line. Imagine how things would be if champions only defended when a number one contender wanted a match. Look at Vinnie Lane. No doubt he is going to be the next Universal Champ but he has been the number one contender for what 3 months? So does that mean that Gator and Doctor D’Ville should never defend their title until Lane is ready to have his match? Of course not. That would be crazy bro. That same logic applies to the tag team title division. Anyone can challenge the champs but the second someone with a guaranteed shot says they want that shot then they get the next match. Pretty simple right bro? I thought so.

I really hope that if nothing else you have at least been able to walk away from this promo having been educated by a rookie on how things really work in the XWF. Let me know if you need me to go over it again. I can even include some nifty pictures if that would help.
