Monday Night Madness is minutes away from starting. Mastermind is in his locker room, preparing for one of his biggest matches in his XWF career. He is about to take on Bobby Zi for the Xtreme Title. He lost the title to Bobby a few weeks ago, but now he's come full circle to winning it back.

What's not on his mind at this stage is his shot for the Television Title, against Gator, on next Weeks show. That and the fact that by holding the X-treme Belt for 14 days the first time he held he also has a shot at the Tag Team or Trios Belts. So a month ago he had only won the former Arc of the Covennant Title albeit twice for a total of 9 seconds, he now has a whole series of opportunities that he thought wouldn't come his way.

He had worked very hard to get in this position. The 9 straight losses that came his way over the last 4 and a bit weeks also countered by working hard. He knew that he wouldn't get another opportunity by being in this position again for a while. He had to make the most of his chances.

Mastermind looked at the camera.

"Bobby Zi, it's been one hell of a ride. I am coming to take back what's mine, and this time I deserve to take it back. You've been a great competitor, but the fact is I am the better one to hold the X-treme Championship, because I really believe that I want it more than you do. Lately to you it feels like it is a weight on your shoulders that it's bringing you down.

"You have too much pressure holding it. I can attest to that, because when I held it the first time, the pressure of expectation to keep it, to hold on to it, was way too much. Everyone else wants it, everyone else came for it, everyone else deserves it, everyone else fought like hard to keep the pressure on. You've done well to hold it thus far, but that's it Bobby, you're time is up.

"I'm coming to take back my title. I'm coming to make amends on what happened the last time we met, you showed me up. So therefore tonight I am going to show you up. I'll let you slither back in to the hole that you came from. I'll bring back the ledger to have it tied up at 1 all, and not 2 nil down. I'm going to make sure that my Kiwi pride will be greater than your South African dominance. When all is said and done and the dust has settled historians are going to look at this match and say, 'This is where the Kiwi stood tall, and brought the dominance of South Africa back to the pack."

"That title Bobby means more to me than anything. It means little to you. You don't even care about it. It's the second most valuable title of the XWF. It's one step away from the Universal Title. By you holding this title, things have gotten to your head. You believe you are the best wrestler here in the XWF, you believe that you are greater than everyone including the Universal Title Champions. That's where you are wrong Bobby. You see it's one thing to believe that you are great, it's another thing proving it. And you haven't proved squat.

"Everyone is gunning for you. I know where to give respect. I may say things that I am that damn good, but I know where to draw the line about proving that I am the best. I won't be the best until I've held the Universal Title. And that won't be for a while yet. I'm not ready for that title yet. It's too powerful. But I'll get there one day.

"But I truly believe that I have what it takes to get the X-treme Title back. Its going to be one hell of a match Bobby. It's going to be plenty X-Treme, that it maybe one of the best matches yet. May the best man win Bobby. That best man will be me. See you soon."

Mastermind gets up and stretches his back. It was almost time.
