|-| Kyle Morrison? Dispatched. Just like the rest of them. The rest of the cowards with no sense of honor who chose to attack Shawn Steele instead of facing him like a man. And just like all the rest, Kyle Morrison was left laying in the middle of the ring, staring up at the lights after he had just had his head driven into the mat.
And once again, Shawn Steele’s victory celebrating was cut short. This time by the General Manager of Monday Night Madness himself, Paul Heyman. Finally, some good news. The news that Shawn Steele would soon be getting a shot at the XWF Television Championship. But that’s neither here nor there. Not yet anyway. Instead, Shawn Steele’s focus is turned back to the Fall Madness Series where he’s tied for Fifth place with eight points, three behind the leader, and XWF Television Champion himself, Mr. Supernova.
Looking to get a big jump in the standings, Shawn Steele has his opportunity this Monday night as Madness airs live from the Chesapeake Energy Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. And that opportunity comes in the form of a Triple Threat Match against LJ Havok and Hunter Payne. Two men who have more than made their impressions on the X-treme Wrestling Federation. But, in the eyes of Shawn Steele himself, just what kind of impressions those are could be very different from the generally accepted theories. |-|

Our scene begins in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the sight of XWF’s Monday Night Madness in just two days time. But we’re not yet at the Chesapeake Energy Center, instead we’re spending our Saturday night at the world famous Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse. See, Shawn Steele’s stock in the X-treme Wrestling Federation has been on the rise for a while now. And it’s never been higher than after Steele’s victory over Mr. Radio, then the sole Number One Contender to the XWF Television Championship. So now, with Madness beginning to heavily promote Shawn Steele as a Monday Night Madness exclusive talent, he’s been sent to Micky Mantle’s Steakhouse for a public appearance in an attempt to drawn in more fans to Monday night’s Madness. There’s a table set up just inside of the main entrance, off to the left to remain out of the way for normal patrons, and behind said table sit Shawn Steele and a random white guy wearing a black polo style shirt with an XWF logo adorning the upper right portion. Sitting on the table, in front of who we can assume is Shawn Steele’s assigned handler, are two large stacks of XWF Promo pictures for Shawn to sign and give to the fans who are already forming a long line in front of the table. Steele, clearly unhappy with his current situation, isn’t really even looking up at the fans as he signs their pictures before pushing them forward to take.
XWF Staffer: Don't you think maybe you should be paying a little more attention to our fans? Mr. Heyman did send you out here today representing the X-treme Wrestling Federation, after all. I'm pretty sure he'd rather you be making a more friendly impression.
Still not looking up from the photograph that the staffer has just slid off of the stack and in front of him, Shawn speaks as he signs his name in black sharpie.
Shawn Steele: Do you think Heyman expected me to be all smiles and sunshine when he told me I hate to be here today? You think I wouldn’t rather be back at the hotel, watching Tennessee getting their asses kicked? Heyman knew what he was getting when he told me to be here.
XWF Staffer: I suppose you have a point. I mean, you don’t really have a reputation in the back of being the most stabl...
The still unnamed staff member suddenly stops talking as he sees that Shawn Steele has finally looked up from his photos, but instead of engaging the fans he’s now glaring a hole into his handler, who quickly does the smart thing and busies himself making sure the stack of unsigned photographs is perfectly straight.
Shawn Steele: You think I care about what you think of me? You think I care about what the guys in the back think about me? You think I care about what these morons think about me?
Shawn’s tirade is suddenly derailed by a loud gasping coming from an older female fan who’s standing directly in front of him, having just taken her signed picture. Steele looks at the fans for the first time as he addresses the woman.
Shawn Steele: Oh not you, ma’am. I’m sure you just got here from your MENSA meeting.
Rolling his eyes, Steele turns his attention back to the staffer.
Shawn Steele: I couldn’t care less, Matthews. I know I’m not the most liked guy around. But I didn’t join the X-treme Wrestling Federation to make new friends. I came here to hurt people. And that’s just what I’ve been doing. Hurting people. And just what have I been doing for months now, Matthews?
XWF Staffer (Matthews): Hurting people, Sir?
Shawn Steele: Exactly. Hurting people. Hurting everyone who’s stepped into that ring with me. Aldway. Morrison. Radio. Morrison. And while I’m on the topic of the Morrison family, who’s next? Daddy Morrison? Why don’t you get those Morrison boys a message for me, Matthews. Tell them to keep my name out of their mouths or I’ll end their entire family.
XWF Staffer (Matthews): .... Yeah I’ll be sure to pass that along. Sooo .. you must be pretty happy about getting that shot at the Television Championship?
Shawn Steele: Smarten up, Matthews. You think I’m happy about being tossed into some Four Way Match for the Television Championship? I’m not. But then again, I’m not happy about being tossed into some Triple Threat Match against Havok and Payne.
XWF Staffer (Matthews): That’s a pretty big match, isn’t it? I mean both Hunter Payne and LJ Havok have accomplished a lot in the X-treme Wres....
Shawn Steele: Like what? Tell me what LJ Havok has accomplished. Losing his shot at becoming the King of the XWF? Losing his shot at the XWF Tag Team Championships? His accomplishments .. the mark that he’s left on the X-treme Wrestling Federation, is losing. Because that’s what he’s good at. Losing. Oh, wait. He won that Rumble match didn’t he? The Rumble where I destroyed everyone in my path. Big deal. Don’t get me wrong. I actually respect the man. He makes big moves. He doesn’t wait for someone to hand him things. When LJ Havok sees something that he wants .. something that he thinks he deserves, he goes and gets it. Or at least that’s what he tries to do. And tends to fail at. Like he’s going to fail on Monday night. He’s not walking out of Madness with a victory. To be honest, I kind of like him. I like the Extreme Revolution. They want to be major players, so they make major moves. I can respect that. But that doesn’t change what’s going to happen at Madness.
XWF Staffer (Matthews): That’s possibly the nicest thing I’ve ever heard you say.
Shawn Steele: Shut up.
XWF Staffer (Matthews): That’s more like it!
Shawn glares at Matthews for a moment before turning his attention back to the photograph being slid in front of him before shoving them across the table at whatever fan happens to be standing in front of him. This goes on in silence for a few moments before Matthews just can’t help himself.
XWF Staffer (Matthews): Hunter Payne?
Shawn Steele: What?
XWF Staffer (Matthews): What about Hunter Payne?
Shawn Steele: What about him?
XWF Staffer (Matthews): Well he is a former title holder. He’s made quite the name for himself as well.
Shawn Steele: Quite the name for himself? Look, Matthews, I’m going to put this as nicely as I possibly can. Hunter Payne? Hunter Payne is a bitch. Joy Giovanni’s bitch, to be exact. I’m pretty sure she’s said as much herself.
XWF Staffer (Matthews): Well I don’t think Hunter would exactly agree with tha.....
Shawn Steele: Maybe he wouldn’t. But we won’t know until Joy gives him permission to speak. Probably has to take the ball gag out of his mouth first too. Hunter Payne .. he’s a talented kid. I take nothing away from any of my opponents. And Hunter Payne is one of the most talented guys I’ve ever seen. He can beat almost anyone at their own game. He’s a Chameleon of sorts. He can step into that ring and pretty much out wrestle anyone. In whatever style he chooses. But see, here’s the problem that Hunter Payne has. He needs to get his head out of his ass and get rid of his bitch if he ever wants to be the King of the XWF. He’s too busy trying save his relationship to actually win anything worthwhile. And that’s just the way it’s going to be until he smartens up. He can’t get the job done, Matthews. Me? I can get it done. And I’m going to get it done in two days.
Going back to signing autographs again, both Matthews and Shawn remain silent. Shawn ignores the fans as usual until.....
????????: Make it out to Allister, if you don't mind .......
Shawn stops signing the photograph suddenly, the black sharpie suddenly falling from his hand as Shawn Steele slowly lifts his head to see the man standing before him.
The unknown man, Allister apparently, simply smiles at Shawn who continues sitting silent in his chair, seemingly in a state of shock. Matthews begins to look back and forth between the two men and is just about to say something when Shawn Steele suddenly lunges out of his chair, leaping over the table. His right hand grasps around the neck of Allister, driving him to the ground with Steele landing on top of him, the scene suddenly cutting to black.
