XWF Exclusive Interview with Liz Weinberg: Kyle "The Machine" Morrison

Liz Weinberg: "I am here with XWF newcomer, Kyle "The Machine" Morrison. Kyle, you are on the eve of your first match here in the XWF, any last-minute nerves?"

Kyle Morrison: "Liz, I have been a part of combat sports for years. I have been under the bright lights many a time. Just because the sport is different and the lights may be a little brighter doesn't mean a thing to me. I have been waiting for this moment for quite some time, and there will not be any nerves when my music plays and I step in that ring."

Liz Weinberg: "What about the fact that this "moment", your first match is against Juan Madison, the lucha alter-ego of John Madison, who in case you weren't aware, is the King of The XWF?"

Kyle Morrison: "Let me ask you a question, Liz. Does Juan have a jaw?"

Liz Weinberg: "Ummm, what?"

Kyle Morrison: "Does Juan Madison have a jaw?"

Liz Weinberg: "Um, yes, I would think so."

Kyle Morrison: "Well, I don't give a fuck who Juan is. If the man has a jaw, then I will break it! Whether you are the King or a nobody, your bones break, your blood flows, your muscles rip! And when I step in that ring, Juan can tell all of the stories he wants, he can drink all he wants, but I ain't in this federation to party or bullshit around."

"I am "The Machine" and I don't stop 'til I get the job done, and my job description come tomorrow night will be to beat the ever-living fuck out of Juan Madison and then advance and beat the ever-living fuck out of the next guy, and the next guy, until I stand at the top and am the tournament winner!"

Liz Weinberg: "Well, those are some pretty strong words there. Speaking of the tournament, are you prepared to possibly take part in as many as 3 matches, I mean this will be your first XWF event."

Kyle Morrison: "In my MMA career, I took part in quite a few tournaments. I would have to fight two, three, even four times a night! And I am undefeated as a mixed martial arts fighter, so what does that tell you, Liz? Yes, this is the XWF, this ain't MMA, but I have been training non-stop since this tournament was announced. I've been working with my MMA trainer, Greg Jackson, to push my cardio farther than it has ever been, to work on all my striking and grappling techniques to perfection, over and over and over again until it is second nature. And I have been working with my wrestling trainer, Rudy Boy Gonzalez and his students, night in, night out, to prepare for any and everything that may be thrown at me tomorrow night."

"I have never been more focused at anything than I am for tomorrow night. I know that first impressions mean quite a bit in this industry. And tomorrow night will be the first in-ring impression, and I promise..no, I guarantee you, that the XWF and the fans will not leave disappointed. I will shock the world tomorrow night and I will break Juan Madison in the middle of that ring and then I will go on to break everyone else who stands in my way. To be the best, you beat the rest! And tomorrow night, I WILL beat Juan Madison, and I WILL beat the rest that stand in my way tomorrow night. And when the night is over, I WILL be the best that comes out of this tournament."

Liz Weinberg: "Well, that is all the time we have for today, but wow, some strong statements there by Kyle Morrison. Should be a hell of a show tomorrow!"
