Dark clouds cover the Earth. In the middle of some unknown location is dirt that looks golden from the heat and reflection of a hot sun. There's very few trees around to give some shade. Everything is ian the open to the sun. It sends out heat waves down upon the Earth and all its residents. Men are suiting up in some heavy armor. They're kissing their wives and children as if they would not be coming back for quite a while, or at all.

Thousands of men suited up in protected armor are walking into the bright sun. Their body is covered in sweat. Their legs are weak from the long walks carrying the heavy armor. A round metal shield is in one hand, and various weapons of choice are in the other.

They are met by an opposing group of warriors, coming from the opposite side. They also had kissed their families goodbye.

Both groups are fighting for a cause they deem worthy of their lives. The value of the cause they are fighting for is worth the separation of family, brothers, love, and enjoyment. It's higher than the individual warrior ready for battle. It's bigger than the group that is protecting the cause. The cause is about the future. It's about the legacy to follow. The men's children will tell these stories to their children, and grand children, and on and on it'll go. The legacy of the cause will be seen as an equal value of lives. One cause may be in the wrong, and the other in the right, but this moment isn't about just a simple right and wrong. It's about the fight within the warrior. Regardless of who's right and wrong in the sight of the rest of the world... the group last standing will be victorious.. and their cause will continue for years until another opposes it. On and on this fighting will go. Never to cease.

Eli James sits on a rock at this open field where battles had been fought. The sun beaming down upon his face.

Eli James IV "Since the beginnin' battles were fought. The first battle was over the soul of every man. The enemy of the soul fights in an unseen world waiting to steal you from the Almighty. He's done a good job.. he's got a lot of ya in his grip and you don't seem to want to be let go.

The battle most of ya are use to is a fleshy fight. Two or more people fighting for their lives. Weapons made with metal.. the fist of a man.. anything was used. Everything was to defend and fight for the cause of the majority.

Ya'll hear about the Vikings, Alexander the Great with his warriors, Napoleon and his army, the Spartans, and on and on the list could go. Ya'll see strong men.. strength in numbers.. strong leadership.. and lives at stake. Let me tell ya about a group you may not know about.

Ya see, when you hear about a prophet named Jonah.. you think about a man swallowed up by a fish for disobeying Almighty. Almighty told him to go preach to the great city of Ninevah. It was protected by warriors.. the Assyrians. What these warriors would do is go to towns and villages.. and kill. They would take people to be their slaves.. grab whatever they wanted to keep.. and kill whoever they wanted. They did and a lot more. They would cut out peoples tongues so they couldn't beg or talk. They would rape women in front of the husband and children. Then, they would kill the children in front of the parents.. or kill the parents in front of the children. They loved torture. They saw all they did as a way to show everyone they were 'it'. War began with them and ended with them. It was a sport to them. When they were done.. who wasn't comin' to be a slave.. they should chop off heads and stack 'em up like a pyramid.. place their flag at the top.. to show everyone this place was conquered by the Assyrians.

Almighty wanted Jonah to go to these warriors and preach about forgiveness. He wanted Jonah to warn them to repent and turn from their evil ways.. or judgment will fall upon the city of Ninevah and all who reside there. Jonah didn't want to. Ya see, he knew the Almighty's way and would forgive if they would repent. Jonah was a jew.. an enemy of the Assyrians.

Right in front of your eyes.. the sign of Jonah was placed in the middle of you. I came to warn ya all about the comin' judgment. Heh. I know Almighty would forgive ya.. I told ya he would.. but many of you refused.. and continue to refuse. The difference is I didn't run.. and none of ya are Assyrians or like 'em. I offered life and you chose death. I offered hope.. a chance at freedom.. clean oxygen above this wasteland.. and ya declined.

At War Games.. a different kinda battle will happen.

Some cried about me helpin' King Madison last Monday. Do ya think a warrior cried if his enemy had an axe and all he had was his fists? Nah. He didn't cry about anything bein' unfair.. he went out and fought. Why? He was a warrior.. a fighter.. a man whose heart was bigger than the opportunity. If ya wanna cry, then go join some kids at a daycare, man. Hehe. This isn't a place for men who cry. Stop blamin' everyone but yourself. You just don't have what it takes to be a warrior. This match.. there shouldn't be any cryin'. People's Will will be tested.

Eli knows about war. He currently preaches about the war for your soul, but he knows about the other war too. The Marine, Eli James IV, was a loyal and committed soldier. His goal was always to better his yesterday today. He was never satisfied with the statuesque and always embraced challenges that would make him a strong person in the tomorrow. He survived a tough boot camp with fellow Marines.. followed by several missions he's not allowed to talk about. He's seen war overseas and at the homeland. He's always ready for a fight.

He stands up to overlook the desert looking field. It reminds him of battle. He slowly turns away and heads back into the field filled with trees.
