In a patch of woods in the middle of nowhere, Tera Vincent has just undergone a "baptism by blood", courtesy of the man known as Andrew Morrison. She has wandered away from the pool of blood in which she and Michael Kelly were baptized. She has cleaned a majority of the blood from her, but some still remains. However, it does not seem to phase her. She is acting like it is a part of hr now. She has pulled out a white mirror from a black leather bag that sat in the grass, and then, somehow, we hear her thoughts while she checks her reflection
"When I woke up today, I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would find myself even closer to my savior as I am now. He hath baptized me in a pool of blood, blood runs thicker than water, and thus so does the connection I feel towards Andrew..."
Tera glances over at Andrew, who is kneeling and bent over by the pool of blood. He seems to have something in his hand, but it cannot be made out what it is from this distance. Michael is standing over by a fallen tree trunk, staring out into space
"Michael...he sees Andrew as a sensei or a teacher; listening so closely with so little emotion, such intensity...hanging on every single word Andrew says, just as I do. Andrew certainly has a way with words; his word is what brought Michael to this time and place. Andrew puts into words all that myself and Michael have always felt, even if we did not know it at the time..he puts into words what he feels, what he sees...what we ALL see...that the world is falling apart..."
Tera places the mirror back into the bag, and lays down in the patch of grass
She then looks toward Andrew and smiles
"The world is becoming a wasteland, looking to consume us all. Andrew saved me from that world...and for that, I am forever in his debt. A life now without Andrew would be a life worse than death, worse than anything. It is Andrew's passion that draws me to him; the passion he shows when he speaks, the passion he shows when he fights...he puts everything he has into all he does. It amazes me...HE amazes me."
We see Andrew and Michael begin to walk toward her, she sits up and fiddles around with some grass and laughs briefly before looking back up toward Andrew and Michael
"I thought I felt strongly for Andrew before today, but now...it has grown immensely. I would do anything for him. I have given him my life and my friendship. Oh how I dream that perhaps one day, I could give him more...but for now, I give him my life and today, I utterly and completely give him my soul. He has baptized me as his subject, as his friend, and as a member of the Apocalyptic Genesis. We are the beginning of something that will change things. Something I will do anything for, why, I would do anything for my new "blood" brother, Michael. I would do anything and more for Andrew...."
"It is time to go, Tera. I shall address the world once more before Warfare and we must depart now if we are to make it on time."
"Ah, he speaks...to hear his voice is to hear music in my head..oh, if only he knew what he makes me feel..yet I cannot tell him now..perhaps one day, I will know how it feels to taste his kiss..until then.."
Tera feels a little bit of the blood that she had ignored slowly run down her face; she dabs at it and then runs her fingers over her lips to taste the blood that Andrew had baptized her in
Andrew smirks as he has grown accustomed to Tera's flirtatious behavior, although whether he is merely dismissing it as youthful playfulness or perhaps all of the previous pain he had felt in previous relations with the opposite sex had his senses on the acts of lust, this is unknown. He speaks to her once more
"Come, Tera, let us leave now."
Tera smiles and wraps around Andrew's right arm while Michael walks to Andrew's left and thus they depart from the site of the baptism by blood
