The sun has fallen and the moon is out to govern the night. The Hell's Angels had to say informally their goodbye to Dusk early this evening. The hunt for Eli James has been postponed for a few hours to pay respects to Dusk and handle club business, such as who is taking his spot. The drinking lasts for quite a long time, until the unexpected guest arrives.
Enters Eli James, the Fourth.
This smell is all too familiar. The alcohol soaked into everyones clothes and hard wood floors. The atmosphere is filled with puffy smoke with a mixture of pipes, cigars, cigarettes, and weed. This hell hole is where I spent much time snorting the best... fucking the best... and getting paid to do it with a smile on my face. As I've stepped away from this place, went home to handle my other family affairs and became familiar with the prophesy over my life... I come back and see the reality. The imagination of this place was just that.. an imagination of reality. It's not real. It's a fictional place that you want to believe its real until truth sets in and says, 'hey, fuck you', and then you're left with nothing. Your body rots into the ground and people are asking themselves what happened. They drink, they snort, they smoke, they fuck, and the routine circles around. These assholes are the ones I spent so much of life with. I called the guys my brothers. They were family. Now, all I see is a wasteland. I'm ready to piss on this place and burn it down to the ground. This is going to be interesting.
Eli walks in the place, but no one really notices it's him. After a few moments of Eli just standing there looking and waiting.. someone realizes who it is and yells it out for everyone to hear. Derrick is in the midst and notices his former friend. He's unsure how to respond after the time they shared in the Marines. Does he work alongside the group he's known to call family, or defend his new friend that was built in the Marines?
"Before ya all come at me and kill me...
No one wants to wait, as people are getting their knives out and pistols armed ready to kill the man who took Dusk's life, Derrick yells for everyone to hold and listen before they proceed.
"Thank ya, Derrick. Or Sane. You all want to kill me, but before you do the task you've itched to accomplish.. let me share the truth with ya all.
Eli starts to sniff a little bit.
"I do not like eggs in the file. I do not like them in any style. I will not take them fried or boiled. I will not take them poached or broiled. I will not take them soft or scrambled. Despite an argument well-rambled. No fan I am of the egg at hand. Destroy that egg! Today! Today!. Today I say! Without delay!
"What the fuck?
No one understood what Eli said, and were confused as hell. Eli even paused himself for a moment to think about what just happened.
Clearly, these fucks have never heard of truth before. I take that back. I just realized I quoted from the wrong fucking book. This is a strange day. I'll say what I meant to and ignore that.
"The truth is I left ya'll because my biological father was ill. He passed within two weeks of me arriving and I had to finish his wishes. Family comes first, right? You all were my family, but more like an adopted one. My biological family had to come first. It's the way it must always be. Blood is thicker than water, the old sayin' goes. I went to handle my business with the blood, and left the water runnin'. While I was there, I was reminded of my purpose... it was prophesied over me.. and all that was spoken over me has happened. Now, I am a part of something much deeper and stronger than blood or water. This new family is the root of the blood and water, for without it.. the blood and water vanish. They have no vessel to live in. They would never exist. I serve the Almighty. His Word has been revealed to me and I have hidden it in my heart like a treasure. It is the pearl of greatest wealth. Without this truth.. the wood pile would forever sit without the fire. It's purpose would be confused and meaningless. The truth adds the element and brings the light to the surface for all to hear.
I am that truth.
The Almighty and I are one.
What you hear me speak, you hear Him speak.
So listen when I speak. My words are worth much more than any amount of money you could possess. My words are much more valuable than the greatest bond a family could give.
I came back for a purpose. I came, and while you all were searching to kill me... I sought for Dusk and gave him a choice. I offered him to come and follow me.. to leave everything behind and begin somethin' new. To replace his hopeless and pathetic life with a hopeful and purposeful life. I allowed temptation to be placed in front of him and he had to choose. He chose his temptation over life. He wanted the temporary over the eternal. Thus, he reaped his reward. He is now forever damned and will never be seen again. He prophesied his own death to me. He told me one of us would die, and he was right. He said we would meet again, and we will. Now, I am here before you all to give you the same choice he had...
Follow me. Or be damned to the same fate Dusk settled for. I leave it in your hands.
You..
Eli points to some young Hell's Angel kid. He looks new and scared. Eli motions him to walk over. The young one looks at Derrick, and Derrick motions him to go to Eli. Eli hugs him, turns him around for everyone to see, and grabs him in a choke hold.
"I'm not an evil man. I'm the bringer of judgment. This young one was waiting to fuck your girls. He was waiting to steal your drugs. I saw him as a little child, forcing himself on top of a girl in middle school... he has yet to repent of any of his sins. His time has come to be damned. He doesn't get the choice.
Apparently, everyone either believed what Eli said or they knew this young boy was indeed stealing from the club.. it was just a matter of time before they killed him. Eli starts singing while he's choking the young boy... he releases the body and it collapses to the floor.
"His blood is on your hands. Dusk's blood is on your hands. I simply brought the message to them and it judged them. Truth is no respecter of age. race. or occupation. Truth simply judges when you lie to it. It reveals. Sometimes it reveals slow, and sometimes instant, but it never loses a case. It's just a matter of time before you all are faced with judgment.. unless.. you do the right thing. Follow me. Or you can take your chances and kill me.
Everyone starts looking around to see what people are going to do. Derrick is the first the move... him and Eli embrace... Derrick leaves the clubhouse with Eli smiling. Another guy walks up to Eli and hugs him... this person gets stabbed in the stomach with a knife.
"I'm sorry. You cannot pass go. You cannot collect two hundred dollars. Hehehe.
Eleven more all join Derrick outside, while the rest are ready to try and kill Eli. What they don't know is Eli whispered something to Derrick... outside waiting is people from The Village, including Elisha and Amos James Jr. They poured gasoline all over the building. Once everyone has made their choice, Eli smiles...
"Enjoy yourselves.
Eli quickly leaves the building and some of those from The Village lock it. Amos James Jr. throws a match on the building as everyone starts to leave together.. the former members of Hell's Angels, including Derrick, can't help but look back while hearing the screams. Eli walks up to Derrick and places his hand on his shoulder...
"What's happening isn't evil. It's judgment. I offered the choice. You and your friends here have been saved. Follow Elisha and Amos to your new home. Your new journey begins today.
Eli turns to the burning clubhouse and gives off a big smile. Firetrucks are heard in the background. A small tear falls from Eli's eye..
"Judgment is beautiful. This is gonna be a great year for the Almighty.
