The news report had come out. It was being broadcasted on the mainstream media. Andre Chambers was dead. The reports said that he has committed suicide. It was being said that he stuck the barrel of the gun in his mouth and pulled the trigger. It was the news of the week. LJ Havok had been keeping to himself through the course of the week. He was presumably grieving. But to himself he was unaffected and neither was Chris. We all know what really happened. It was the perfect crime. With Chris being a psychologist and LJ being Andre's best friend no one would expect it unless Andre himself came back from the dead to inform everybdy of shady goings on.
Scene opens to XWF live footage. Steve Sayors is standing next to LJ Havok who looks ready for his match teaming with Griffin MacAllister against John Austin and Michael McBride.
I really hate these things, Steve. Let us get this over with.
Mr. Havok, the fans want to know how you are holding up after the tragic suicide of your best friend this past week?
It's life. the guy had problems. Chris and I tried to get him to get psychiatic help. He got defiant and confrontational. He started yelling and throwing beer bottles against the wall. So Chris and I decided to leave and give him time to cool off...When he came back he was no longer with us.
Some would say that makes you two look guilty.
Well we aren't. It's a travesty when a young man's life gets cut short before they make drastic changes in their life.
Is your friend "one with the universe" now?
No. And stop asking these questions. It's all over the news if people are that damn interested in my personal life the can watch CNN or Fox News. I, personally, don't have time for this right now.
Just one more--
LJ Havok pushes Steve Sayors back and he falls down. Havok slowly approaches him. Sayors gets up, drops the microphone, and runs away. LJ squats down and picks of microphone. He stands up, smiles, and begins to talk.
Short interview..Never liked those. If I'm going to talk, it is going to be about what I want. And what I want to talk about is teaming with one half of the tag-team champions with Sebastian Duke and a member of the Brotherhood.. I don't trust him. And that is a good thing because I will know what to expect unlike my former Extreme Revolution brothers. I did not ask to team with Griffin while basically spitting in my partner's face like Peter Gilmour did with Duke and myself. MacAllister better put forth an effort in the match. I won't hesitate to drop him. If he obstructs my path to victory I will have no choice. But I'm confident that Mr. Heyman has a back- up plan though...
And John Austin is seemingly the biggest issue aside from Griffin. He still seems to think that he is ordained by evil.. He thinks the forces of darkness will help him and protect him. Listen really close John Boy.. It didn't work for Sebastian Duke. I took him to his limit. I beat the unholy Hell out of him. So what makes you thing you are so special? Nothing should. Because you are nothing. And as far as you finding out my weakness from Cam..What weakness? Cam Lang never truly knew who I was. I never shared anything personal with him because we aren't school girls.
Going to my former team mate for advice shows exactly how weak you are, John. Your afraid that I will make an example out of you. And just so you know, whether of not Griffin has my back is relatively unimportant at the moment because nothing will stop me from bringing you back to reality.. Except may be Michael McBride...
Michael McBride, I take it you are an intelligent man. So be careful when teaming with the heathen known as John Austin. He is a selfish man and will stop at nothing to get what he desires. Pride and longing for temporary possessions such as money will be his downfall. You have done a lot of things that you believe were for your homeland. But those days are basically behind you, there are more important things afoot like the world being over run by evil people just just in one area. Let your eyes not decieve you because every thing you see around you is a temporary illusion. An illusion that will be shattered sooner or later. Evil only lets you see what they want you to see. "The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light." I am not quoting biblical text just to get a rise out of people. It is something that you should consider soon because these are dire times.
Regardless of what happens I realize that loss and pain aren't that bad. They are good things. They teach you things about yourself that you cannot even begin to fathom, and it makes you stronger. It teaches you how to deal with things yet to come.
Scene fades out as LJ Havok turns and walks down the hallway back to his locker room. He is pondering the things he had just said and smiling to himself. He thought about his goals being met and the glorious day when he will be able to save everyone. But he never thought about his now deceased friend. Not once.
