Do you remember the moment your childhood ended and life truly began?

For most children, it is impossible to know the exact moment they became adults. We all hold on to the moments both perfect and bittersweet, indulge in enjoyable recollections of old friend and days that have passed. We can’t remember how it all ended, regardless of a scrupulous belief, once upon a time, that I never could end, but it did. Sooner or later.

We hold on to the memories leading to that point as best we can. We pray to whatever god we believe in that those memories will never dwindle, because when they do the magic is no more. That’s when we grow old, or even worst mad.

This is how Sin’s childhood ended….

It wasn’t the first time she sat behind the wheel of a car and nervously drove legally for the first time. Every turn she made her heart fluttered hoping her vehicle didn’t spin out of control and cause an accident.

It wasn’t the first time in high school that she experimented with cocaine, acid, or marijuana.

And her childhood didn’t end with that first teenage experience of sex, embarrassing groping in the back of her Cutlass, where all young lovers with raging hormones usually lose their virginity.

It wasn’t the day the Eldon Missouri school system considered her an adult with an ornate diploma and a unpleasantly damp and sticky handshake from Principal Erin Miller. It meant little in regards to the death of her womanhood.

It was nothing so conventional as all that.

Her childhood ended during the year of her thirteenth birthday. What took place that night changed her forever, it revised the way she looked at other and the masks they wore.

Her childhood ended the night she witnessed the murder of Maria Yanez.

CHILDHOOD MEMORY:

Sin remembered sitting in her room wondering several times if it would ever stop raining. Even when the cracking thunder grew silent for a while, and the lightning did not illuminate the skies she thought her small home town was doomed to lie exposed in that darkness forever.

Her little sister slept comfortably in the bed across from her, separated only by a night stand which sat between their twin beds. It wasn’t the rain, nor the crackling of lightning that kept her awake that night, but the constant memory of their neighbor that replayed over and over in her head.

He was in his late thirties, but back then it seemed like he was a hundred years old to Sin. She had mentioned before that he had reminded her a lot of Mr. Rogers at first, but as the months passed everything about him changed. He grew short tempered, the style of clothing he wore grew darker, and even his face no longer seemed capable of smiling.

Earlier that day Sin had been riding her bicycle, the flipping of a baseball card in the spokes gave the illusion that she was riding her first motorcycle as her dark black hair blew in the wind. She closed her eyes occasionally trying to make a game out of it, every couple of minutes she would close them even longer to see how far she could go without looking. Unfortunately the game didn’t last long when Sin lost control and crashed into the metal garbage cans placed neatly on the curb next to her house.

The pain from the skin knee coursed through her body as it began bleeding, she grabbed it applying pressure to keep the blood from trickling down her leg. Pieces of the loose gravel on the streets stuck into her skin and she tried brushing it off with her free hand, but was unable to when a hand grabbed her by the wrist.

She looked up and saw their neighbor, Steven Ray Thacker holding her wrist tight. He looked at her and then at the metal trash cans she had knocked over and then back at her, but remained silent. The look on his face terrified Sin, it was a look she had never seen before and it was the first time she witnessed evil in it’s purest form.

“Amber…..Amber where are you?”

The familiar voice of her mother yelled out to her from the front door of their home. Steven Ray Thacker quickly let go of her wrist and turned around picking up the trash cans she had knocked over.

“Amber come inside honey it‘s time to eat.”

Sin stood up picking up the wrecked bicycle from the ground and looked back at their neighbor, the hair on her arms stood up as she walked away dropping her bike in their luscious green yard and running inside.

The rest of that day and night Sin felt as if it was her duty to constantly peek out the window and check on the man who remained quiet and to himself. And even though a horrific storm had come out of no where it didn’t detour her to keep a watchful eye. It was that belief that took away her childhood forever.

The sounds of blankets rustling and a bedspring squeaking alerted Sin. Her sister moaned as her body slightly rolled over knocking the blanket off of her small fragile body. Sin threw back the covers from her own bed and placed her feet down on the cold wooden floor and stood up making her way over to her sisters bed. She grabbed the blanket and threw it back over her sister, but did not return to her bed. Instead she felt as if it was time to check on Thacker one last time before turning in for the night.

Sin quietly crept over to the window in her room tip toeing in an attempt not to wake up her sleeping sister and peered out of the window and down at Thacker’s house. She could see him through the lacey curtains hanging from his living room window sitting on a couch next to a beautiful brunette she had never seen at his home before. They sipped red wine out of glasses and occasionally laughed at whatever program was playing on his television.

This continued for several minutes until the laughing was replaced with passionate kissing and heavy fondling. Their hands explored each others bodies in a way that Sin had never seen before, and she knew she should turn away and return to bed, but curiosity got the best of her. She continued to watch as shirt were removed and thrown to the ground next to Thacker’s couch, the red bra the woman was wearing quickly joining the pile of clothes as his hands caressed her breasts. Sin watched as Thacker’s hands slowly moved from the woman’s breasts to her neck gently and playfully squeezing at first, the woman throwing her head back in pleasure. But the woman’s face quickly changed from that of pleasure to fear as Thacker’s grip tightened. She threw her hands up pushing at his face in an attempt to free herself from his grip, but he was far too strong for her as it only angered him causing him to squeeze even harder.

Several seconds passed until the woman’s arms dropped to her side and became motionless, Thacker releasing his grip from her neck. What would have terrified most children only intrigued Sin. Most children would have ran into their parents room screaming and crying shouting at the top of their lungs about what they had just witnessed, but Sin stood in the window and remained silent.

It was that moment that Sin’s childhood ended.

It was only a few weeks later that the police were knocking on Thacker’s door and arresting him, not because Sin had told them, but because he had gotten sloppy. She remembered that day as the whole neighborhood stood outside of their homes watching police and detectives carry out the bodies of at least a dozen victims. The smell from his home was carried throughout the neighborhood by the wind as women and children hid their faces behind their shirts in a failed attempt to block the smell. Faces cringed and mothers cried, but Sin did not. Instead she looked towards Thacker who looked back at her, both exchanging menacing smiles.

That was the day Sin’s childhood ended and her life truly began. And it was only a few months later that her parents and sister were burned alive in their family home enraging the monster inside of her even more, until the little girl known as Amber no longer existed.

PRESENT DAY:

A bra and panties match? That’s the best the Xtreme Wrestling Federation could come up with for Sin? Her opponent Olive Pendershore. Being put in a match against a nobody was almost as frustrating as being put into a bra and panties match on live television. It wasn’t the fact that it embarrassed Sin to be seen on live television in front of millions in her risqué lingerie, hell the clothing she wore to the ring every night to compete in was risqué. What was frustrating was that a bra and panties match in wrestling was their way of telling you your career was dead and that they had no faith in your ability to perform anymore.

Unfortunately for the XWF this posed an issue with Sin. After all the blood and sweat she had spilled for the company there was no way she was going to be sidelined. They new her true potential, but they always feared it. There were plenty of opportunities for Sin to be a champion in the XWF, but how could they let someone like her be the face of the company? She was uncontrollable and that was a liability they could not afford. Rumors had spread around the internet calling her a murderer and a lunatic, of course those rumors were true, but only Sin knew that, to others it was just hearsay.

Sin tried so hard to be good at the beginning, it took everything in her to fight the demons inside of her, but in the end they were just to strong.

Sin looked down at her cell phone again, the light from it illuminating her face, as her other hand set down a vase of flowers on the bench next to her, all white roses except for one black in the middle.

SINCERE LEE WILD: “A f@ck&ng bra and panties match? Are you kidding me?”

Sin’s grip tightened around her cell phone before lifting her arm over her head and throwing the inanimate object into a nearby wall. She watched as it broke into several different pieces and fell to the floor.

SINCERE LEE WILD: “After everything I have done for the XWF they want to stick me in a bulls*!t match with some inexperienced opponent like Olive Pendershore!”

Sin reached up and grabbed her long jet black hair and pulled on it tightly as she slowly rocked back and forth.

What transpired only a couple of weeks ago during what was suppose to be her wedding to Eli was already overwhelming Sin. The way he and the New Congregation beat both her and Death Merchant on live television. It was suppose to be the happiest day of her life, but Eli saw to it that it was anything but that. He had strength in numbers and he had her, someone who would have done anything for him, but his own paranoia finally got the best of him, and finally drove him to question everything and everyone, and it was just a matter of time before his precious Congregation would see just how weak he truly was.

“Oh my god, it‘s you Sin!”

A voice said as the women’s locker room door closed loudly echoing throughout the room. This broke Sin from her thoughts of Eli and the Congregation and the fact that the Xtreme Wrestling Federation put her in a bulls8!t match.

Sin looked over at the beautiful Liz Hathaway who stood only a few feet away from her throwing her wrestling gear into her empty locker.

LIZ HATHAWAY: “It‘s such an honor to meet you, I‘m such a big fan, you‘re a huge inspiration to the women in this business….”

Her irritating and whiney voice kept regurgitating more and more as Sin attempted to try and tune her out. Why in god’s name would anyone be inspired by someone like Sin, she was as cruel and hateful as they came. It almost made Sin sad that someone would ever admit to idolizing her because the monster she truly was, the one no one knew about outside of the ring wasn’t who she wanted to be, it’s just unfortunately how the cards were dealt for her.

LIZ HATHAWAY: “And oh my god a bra and panties match against Olive Pendershore how exciting is that?”

This was the comment that caused Sin’s blackout.

She often heard rumors that in moments of pure rage or fear people blackout and do things they can’t remember, but it wasn’t until this moment that she actually experienced it.

After Liz’s comment minutes had to have passed by before Sin had snapped back into reality hovering over the motionless and bleeding body of Liz Hathaway. Blood dripped down from Sin’s hands and onto the single black rose from Sin’s vase that now rested on the chest of her victims body. EMT’s and XWF medical personnel pushed Sin away from Liz Hathaway as they dropped to their knees grabbing her wrist checking for a pulse and leaned their head towards her face.

“She has a pulse and is breathing, but there is some serious head trauma were going to have to get her to the hospital now.”

Shane along with other important figures from the Xtreme Wrestling Federation stood in the doorway of the women’s locker room talking to one another as the EMT’s lifted Liz Hathaway onto a stretcher and pushed past the influential decision makers of the company.

SHANE : “What the hell happened here Sin?”

She remained silent as she took a seat back on the bench in front of her locker. Shane made his way over to Sin and knelt down in front of her.

SHANE : “God damn it Sin, I asked you what the hell happened here.”

Sin looked up from the ground and ran her hand across Shane Carvers cheek, Liz’s blood smeared across his face.

SINCERE LEE WILD: “Come on Shane all the fun times we had together in the past, you know me better than anyone…..how unstable and unpredictable I can be, but I will be honest with you and tell you I have no idea what happened I don‘t remember any of it.”

Shane let out an irritating sigh as he pulled a hankercheif from his left suit pocket and wiped away the blood from his face.

SHANE : “Well you have really done it this time Sin, and go figure you haven‘t even been back for a week and already are on the verge of being terminated from the XWF.”

Sin began laughing as she pulled her hair the blood from Liz Hathaway finally drying and hardening on her hands.

SINCERE LEE WILD: “I‘ve really done it? Me? You and your squad full of goons who make the matches around here are the ones to blame for this mess Shaney Pooh, not me. What the hell were you thinking putting me in a bra and panties match against Olive Pendershore? Is that all I‘m worth to this company anymore a f!@king gimmick? I honestly think I am owed more than that, don’t you? You all know exactly what I am capable of, and you have let loose the demon inside me before which was a dark time for the company, I really don‘t think you want a repeat of that again do you Shane?”

Shane looked over at his colleagues who looked back at him all with worry portrayed on their faces.

SINCERE LEE WILD: “You know good damn an well that this bra and panties match is bullsh!t, a way to try and keep me contained, but it‘s not going to work for me or for you and the company.”

SHANE : “Then what do you suggest we do Sin?”

SINCERE LEE WILD: “I want Eli James and the Congregation in the ring at Warfare.”

Shane shook his head.

SHANE : “I can‘t do that Sin….”

Sin balled up her fist and punched the locker directly behind Shane .

SHANE : “The teams for the Tri Match have already been decided, but if you are having an issue with the bra and panties match maybe we can negotiate. We can give you Olive Pendershore and Theo Pryce the opportunity to show us you are worthy of competing for the Trio Title‘s, all you have to do is defeat Andrew Morrison, Christine Nash, and John Austin in the ring on Wednesday Warefare, Return of the Trio‘s.”

Sin removed her hand from the slightly dented locker and brushed the side of Shane’s face again.

SINCERE LEE WILD: “I thought that you and your merry band of misfits would wise up and see my true potential.”

Shane stood up and wiped away the blood from his face once again.

SHANE : “Well okay then Sin, I‘m glad we could figure all that out, now promise me that your going to calm down and focus on preparing for this match okay, I can‘t have you running around the arena taking out random Superstars.”

SINCERE LEE WILD: “Oh you got it boss.”

Sin said sarcastically saluting towards Shane as he and the others began to leave the women’s locker room.

SHANE : “Can you believe I use to sleep with that psycho?”

Shane said under his breath as he looked back and waved at Sin, who once again with sarcasm waved back.

SINCERE LEE WILD: “Psycho huh?”

Sin laughed standing to her feet.

SINCERE LEE WILD: “They haven‘t seen anything yet.”
