The DVD menu appears again on the screen and a little arrow goes to the chapters section. It then clicks on chapter 4"MCW Departure" The camera then pans to Matt sitting in the dark room with the XWF logo behind him.

Matt- It all started at the Shamrock cup. If you don't know what the Shamrock cup is, it is a "tournament" in memorial of a local wrestler named Shane Shamrock. The man was an incredible wrestler from what I have heard. I never got the chance to watch him in the ring but from all the videos I've seen he was a damn good wrestler. So that night I defeated some no namer in the opening round which put me in the main event match. The main event match is 6 men in the ring battling to win a trophy for the tournament. It was me, Christian York, Ruckus, Adam Flash, Jay Lethal, and Sonjay Dutt. It was an amazing match.

The camera pans to highlights from the match while Matt is talking.

Matt- It went on for a long time too and I got the first elimination against Jay Lethal. Then Flash eliminated Sonjay, then Flash eliminated York then I eliminated Ruckus. So it was down to myself against Adam Flash for the Shamrock Cup trophy. I am letting you know now, me and this guy didn't get along well to begin with. So we were putting on a pretty decent show and we ended up on top of the entrance ramp. I suplexed him through the curtained area and we were laid out in the back area some what. All of a sudden someone from MCW corporate team came up and was acting to check on me but he whispered in my ear, " change of plans kid, Flash is going to win". That right there pissed me off beyond belief. I didn't know what to think after he told me that, this match meant a lot to me and they took it away from me.

The camera pans back to Matt.

Matt- So me and Adam fought back to the ring, I let him hit me with his finisher and he wins the tournament. Bullshit right? After the match I walked backstage and some of the other wrestlers patted me on the back. They obviously had no idea what had just really happened so I went along with it. The next day I told MCW I want my release, they agreed after I did one more match. So about a month later it was finally time for my last ever match in MCW. It was me and Joey Matthews taking on Adam Flash and Orlando Jordan. It wasn't the best match I've done but it got the fans going. Of course me and Joey didn't win because Adam fucking Flash was their "guy". After the match I didn't even say bye to anyone, I got my shit together and I left. Had all that not happened the way it did, who knows. I could still be with MCW. I could be the face of that company like John Cena is to WWE.

The camera pans to a video of the Baltimore Beltway.

Matt- On my way home, I passed a sign that said ROH live event. I saw it and I thought "maybe I can go and talk to someone". So the next week me and a couple buddies rode up to the Du Burns arena where they were filming something for ROH. We got there and it was an incredible show! I watched some of the stuff that was going on and I knew that this would be the place for me. I remember watching the Brisco brothers, Jay Lethal and a bunch of other guys. After the show, I gave a tape to someone who looked important and they said they'd give it to the management. It was pretty much a tape of my work I have done in MCW.

The camera pans to the highlights that were on the tape.

Matt- They ended up liking what they saw and I actually got to do one match for ROH. I was out in a match with a no namer guy against the Brisco brothers. That was not a fun match, we got our asses kicked! Me and this guy I was teaming with had no chemistry and we were pretty much jobbing to the Brisco brothers. After the match I asked what the hell was going on and they told me I was going to have to do those kind of matches for a while until they think of a gimmick for me. I told them I didn't need a gimmick and they said if I wanted a real match then I need a gimmick. I left the day after because I wasn't putting up with that horse shit, after all they weren't paying me enough anyways. I was left without a job and I really wanted to step it up to the big leagues. I was getting tired of busting my ass in the indies.

The WWE, TNA and the XWF logo all appear on the screen.

Matt- So I had to weigh my options, if I went to WWE, I would probably be stuck on the mid card the entire time. With occasional matches where I job out to John Cena, and all the upper card guys. However, I knew the money was big there. With TNA, I had a bigger shot at getting to the top there because I knew that they were more laid back then WWE. The only downside was, I had heard the management was awful with Dixie Carter and Hulk Hogan running the show. Then XWF popped in my mind. I looked further into it and I saw Paul Heyman was assisting in running the show along with Shane . I knew Paul Heyman was a great guy and I heard was a good guy to get along with. So I joined the company and I was assigned with Monday Night Madness. One problem though, they wanted to give me the gimmick of "The Incredible One".

The camera pans to a clip of Matt's debut on XWF.

Matt- So I read what they wanted my character to be, I thought for a bit and I said alright its not that bad. Until I saw where I was going to be billed from. Toronto, Ontario Canada! I wondered where the fuck did they come up with that. So I went to the creative team and I asked, they told me they had been wanting to try out this character a while. They wanted me to come out to that ring and talk down on the United States. My home country! I fought it at first but I had to give in, I needed to pay bills. So my first match I teamed with these guys I don't even remember their names. And we faced off against John Austin, Scott Charlotte and another no namer guy. Of course my team got the hell beat out of us! I had that team on my back the whole match, one man can't lead a team to victory. After that me and Scott Charlotte faced off in the flag pole match I talked about earlier. That was probably one of my favorite matches I did. Scott was a great guy to work with and I trusted him a lot.

The camera pans to clips from Hunter Payne vs. Matt Lennox matches.

Matt- Me and Hunter Payne are kind of rivals in a way. Hunter is a great guy and we first squared off in a tag match on an episode of Shove It. My team won and then we faced off in battle royals and a submission match. When you watch me and him go at it, you'd think me and him hated each other but when the cameras are off we are great friends.

The camera pans to a picture of Matt and Hunter.

Matt- We were I believe in Boston, or New York and we found a guy named Rick. He was a bouncer at a local club where some of the management were at. They got to talking from what I've heard and they told him they liked him and offered him a manager contract. So he came in and Heyman told me that Rick was my new manager but his wrestler name was Jacob Lewis. So me and "Jacob" talked for a while and right off the bat I hated him. Me and him didn't get along well at all, I even told him I didn't need him. So a few weeks later we were forced to create this group called "The Incredible People". Me and Jacob walked around week after week after week torturing Steve Sayors and searching for people to join. I finally captured my first belt with the Xtreme Championship but I lost it three days later to Steve Davids. After that we ended up getting Jack Killborn, Lightning, and Adam Rollins. This was a disaster! I liked all three guys, they were great competitors but we just didn't work as a group. So I went to the management and told them but they didn't care so I told them to go fuck themselves. Wasn't my best decision because I could have lost my job from that but luckily I just got suspended a couple weeks.

The camera pans to the speech Matt gave at Shove it Night of Payne.

Matt- This speech I gave that night I think is the biggest thing I've done in my career thus far. Whenever a fan comes up to me, that's the first thing they ask about. It's crazy that was such a big deal to people because I really didn't think people would care. After all I wasn't much of a money maker with the crowd. But I think people respected that since it was me telling the truth of what was really going on. I remember Paul Heyman handing me a mic and telling me say whatever you want, you have 5 minutes.

The camera fades from Matt
