JOEY STYLES: “The cage is lowering! Shawn Steele! Andrew Morrison! Shawn Steele came to Madness last week and was the last man standing against Andrew Aldway! Tonight! He and Morrison will compete inside an unforgiving... steel cage!

“Hunt You Down” by Saliva plays.

JASON DANIELS: “The following contest is a steel cage match decided by only pinfall or submission! Introducing first. From Portland, Oregon. Weighing in at 2 hundred 70 pounds. SHAWWWWWN STEEEEEELE!”

JOEY STYLES: “Shawn Steele! A man among men! He took Aldway passed his limit last week, and plans to do the same thing here!”

“Overcome” by Creed plays.

JASON DANIELS: “His opponent. From Houston, Texas. Weighing 2 hundred 63 pounds. ANDREWWWW MORRRRRISOOOON!”

Steel Cage Match
Shawn Steele
- vs -
Andrew Morrison
Pin or Submission Only

Andrew Morrison and Shawn Steele circle the steel cage, glaring at each other and awaiting the moment they can tear each other apart! Then the bell sounds and they fly at each other as this match begins with instant violence!

Morrison catching Steele with a few punches to the face and stomach. Steele retaliating with some knees to Morrison's midsection and a few jabs to Morrison's face. Morrison returns fire with a chop to Steele's chest and a brutal uppercut that actually launches Steele up and off his feet! Steele soars through the air and crashes to the canvas!

Morrison wastes no time and dives on top of Steele as he begins to deliver some ruthless grounded punches and multiple mounted elbows. Steele's head is rocked back and forth by this brutal onslaught! Blood begins to trickle from Steele's nose and mouth! Finally Morrison rises to his feet dragging Steele up with him as he rises. Steele swings his hands wildly to fight off Morrison, but Morrison seems unaffected by this as he lifts Steele high into the air and then - chokeslams him down onto the canvas. The ring shakes from the savage chokeslam and Morrison covers for the pin!

Kickout by Shawn Steele!

Steele shoves Morrison off of him and as both men rise. Steele charges for Morrison hitting him with a Spear! From there Steele stomps his boot into Morrison's stomach and chest, before catching him with a Fall Away Slam! Steele rips Morrison from the canvas and immediately delivers a Double Knee Gutbuster followed by a Standing Leg Drop! Steele goes for the pin!

1...

2...

Kickout by Morrison!

Morrison rolls to his side and slowly rises to his feet as he shakes his head to regain his bearings. Steele rushes in to attack and catches Morrison with a Step Under Neck Breaker! Following it up with the Steele Lock!

Shawn latches in the hold and releases a scream of fury as he keeps it in place! Morrison is in a lot of pain as his eyes bulge and he also begins to yell. Somehow through the agony Morrison is able to lunge forward and grasp onto the rope! The hold is broken!

The ref ushers Steele back away from Morrison as Morrison gingerly rises to his feet and gives his head another shake. Morrison raises his hand to the bridge of his nose and places it there as he continues to shake his head and cough. He really seems to be feeling the effects of the epic beating he just endured. As Morrison appears to get his bearings back, he turns and stares down Shawn Steele.

Morrison screams in rage as he throws his head back! Morrison then charges at Shawn and slams him into the wall of the steel cage. Steele meets Steel! Steele drops to the canvas and Morrison begins stomping on Shawn as he lays on the canvas!

Morrison yanks Steele up by his hair and delivers a couple punches to Steele's face before hitting him with "Double A" Spinebuster! Morrison follows this move up with pulling Steele up from the canvas again and executes a Powerslam! From there Morrison mounts Steele and begins delivering some mounted punches! However through this, Steele manages to jolt his head up and catch Morrison with a HeadButt! Morrison falls back onto the canvas! Steele drops back and stares up at the ceiling as the fans pop with excitement, awaiting someone to get up and make their move.

Steele gets to his feet, as does Morrison. Steele misses with a wild punch. Morrison turns him over for the Vortex Piledriver. Steele wiggles out. Steele now lifts Morrisoin up and plants him on the mat with the Steele Twister!

Steele collapses on top of Morrison to make the cover.

WINNER: Shawn Steele

JOEY STYLES: “Shawn Steele is victorious once again on Monday Night Madness!

“Madness Maniacs, we're inching closer to the huge triple main event. When we come back, Jessie Diaz meets Tony Santos!”

Madness returns and we're in the office of Paul Heyman. Paul sits back in his office chair with his feet up on the desk. He's having a conversation on his cell phone.

PAUL HEYMAN: “Look, I have cameras on me right now, so I can't refer to you personally........ I know you wanted to wait, but I need you to do it................. tonight.......... Why? Ha! Because I'm Paul Heyman, that's why. I wouldn't be Paul Heyman if I didn't fuck with the heads of those that think I'm on their side!

“No, I'm not on your side either.................. Money.......... People love surprises........ Surprises sell more tickets...... Alright, I gotta go.”

Heyman hangs up his cell and tosses it onto his desk. He leans back in his chair with that old familiar grin. The buzz from the intercom startles him and he accidentally flips the chair backwards. He lands hard on the floor with a thud.

SLY: “Mr. Heyman?”

Heyman gets to his feet and brushes off his pants.

SLY: “Mrrrrrr. Heyyymaaaan?”

He slaps the button on the intercom.

PAUL HEYMAN: “What the fuck do you want, Sly?”

SLY: “Sorry, for bothering you Mr. Heyman, but Tony Santos is here to see you, as you requested.”

PAUL HEYMAN: “Send him in.”

Tony enters the office.

PAUL HEYMAN: “Tony, have a seat.”

TONY SANTOS: “Look, Paul... I just wan...”

PAUL HEYMAN: “Why are you talking? You're here to sign a damn contract to come to Madness. That's it. Nothing more. Nothing less.”

Heyman slams a contract to join the Madness roster on the desk.

TONY SANTOS: “Do you have a...”

PAUL HEYMAN: “Again! With the talking! Just sign the damn thing and get the hell out of here!”

Heyman tosses a pen to Santos. Tony signs it, then gets up to leave.

TONY SANTOS: “I just wanted to say...”

PAUL HEYMAN: “You're welcome. Out!”

TONY SANTOS: “How do you even know what I was going to say?”

PAUL HEYMAN: “Simple. I'm Paul Heyman. Oh and you were going to thank me for letting you jump ship to Madness. The pleasure is all yours. GO!”

Santos shakes his head and exits Heymans office. There's that grin again. Madness fades to commercial.

JOEY STYLES: “Madness is back and I have been told that the Black Circle is here! They arrived about 20 minutes ago and now... I'm told, the Brotherhood has arrived here in Cleveland and in full force!

“The King match is beginning to creep into the back of everyones minds and with these arrivals, it only adds to the anticipation. That's later on. Right now, Tony Santos makes his Madness debut!”

JASON DANIELS: "The following contest, is set for one fall!"

"James Brown" by Cage the Elephant plays, and Jessie emerges from behind the curtain. A smile planted on her face as if it were ironed on as she walks down the ramp, eyes fixed on the ring at all times. Climbing onto the apron, she walks over to one of the turnbuckles and ascends to the top. Looking around at the crowd directly for the first time, she softly sings the line "Some sunny day, they're gonna come for you!" before dropping into the ring and leaning in the corner.

JASON DANIELS: "Introducing first! From Seattle, Washington. Jessie DIIIIIIAAAAAAAZ!"

"A Lesson Never Learned" hits, roaring guitars filling the arena. Tony Santos descends down the entrance ramp, black trench coat on his back, taking slow, confident strides toward the ring. The disdain from the crowd pouring in, Tony Santos takes it all in with a smirk that would put Alex Rodriguez to shame.

The chorus (Could be the end of the world, I'd still be laid here on my own, wasting my life away!!!) hits, Santos ascends the stairs and climbs the turnbuckle, one hand raised in the air, depicting the championship he always assumes he holds. Boos mixed with indecision rain in from the crowd, Tony still smiling, still loving the life he lives and the job he holds.

Santos jumps off of the turnbuckle and hits the mat with his two feet, giving one more raised arm to the crowd, then turning to face Diaz.

JASON DANIELS: "And her opponent! From Boston, Massachusetts, weighing in tonight at two hundred, twenty four pounds! TTTTTOOONY SAAAAAAAAANTOOOS!"

The two circle around each other, and Santos walks into the center of the ring! He sticks his hand out to Diaz, who cautiously steps into the middle, inches away from her opponent. Hesitantly, she grabs his hand and the two shake in the middle of the ring, before the ref pushes the two back to their corners and calls for the bell.

Tony Santos
- vs -
Jessie Diaz
Standard Rules

The two circle around the ring, staring each other down. Almost simultaneously, the two hit the ropes and run at each other, Jessie ducking over Santos' leap frog and hitting the rope once more, sending her after Santos who jumps and places both of his feet on the second rope, before shooting off in a springboard moonsault! It lands to perfection, knocking the woman off her feet and causing her to clutch her chest in pain. Santos takes a moment to pander to the crowd, bowing to them as they shower him in boos.

He lays into her with a couple of stomps, before kneeling over her and delivering a series of punches to the face. It's obvious Santos means business in his debut match on Madness. She catches one of the punches however, and answers with a headbutt, knocking the man backwards and causing him to stagger away from her. Quickly, she gets to her feet, and runs at him with a lariat. He gets knocked back only a couple of feet, so she backs up and attempts again, this time running right into a big boot from Santos!

She staggers back, but doesn't fall over, as Santos rushes at her. He goes for a lariat, which she ducks at the last moment. Santos hits the ropes and on the rebound gets hit hit a dropkick, aimed directly at Santos' knee! Clutching his leg, Santos falls flat on his ass to the mat, and then gets hit with a kick to the chest, followed by another, and another, and another! Diaz backs up momentarily, before coming forward with a roundhouse kick...

That Santos catches! Sliding out to a kneeling position, he kicks her other leg out from right under her and locks in an ankle lock! Climbing up to his feet, he cinches the hold in tighter, to a shriek of pain from Diaz. Crawling on the mat, closer and closer to the ropes, she reaches out but the ropes prove to be just out of her reach as Santos begins to walk backwards, nullifying all of her effort. Her hand raises out as if she's going to tap, but then she begins biting her thumb to alleviate the urge. Santos begins to smile (implying he ever stopped, this is Tony Santos we're talking about here) as Diaz's hand begins to shake. Yanking the thumb from her mouth, she musters up the strength to turn herself over and kick Santos off of her before hopping up to her feet.

She shakes the foot the submission was held on for a moment before turning her attention to her opponent again. Rushing to him at a surprising pace, she catches him off guard with a kick to the side of Santos' knee. Smirking, she gives Santos another kick. And another. Followed by a lightning fast frenzy of left and right kicks to the same knee she targeted with the dropkick earlier.

Santos drops to his knees, close to the ropes. Diaz grabs the leg she's working over, and places it on the second rope, trapping it in a knot between the second and top rope, much to the referee's dismay. The ref walks over to attempt to remove Santos' leg from the predicament while Diaz ascends to the top rope. Measuring her mark, she leaps off...

And lands a double foot stomp onto the trapped leg!

Onto the ground she falls, as Santos' leg comes free of the knot and finds its way into his arms. Cradling his knee, he doesn't even think of getting up just yet. Jessie gets to her feet and slowly walks over to Santos, wary of putting too much pressure on the ankle that Santos had targeted earlier. She tries to lay some stomps on the downed man, but he rolls out of the ring and into safety.

Diaz slides out of the ring after him, and gets caught with a right hand for her trouble. The referee begins counting as staggers back from the force.

1...

Santos lifts her up in a back suplex position...

2...

He turns to face the crowd before falling back...

3...

She falls onto the apron from Santos' back suplex! Quickly, he rolls her into the ring and gets in as well. He nonchalantly drapes his arm across her chest, not bothering to hook the leg as the ref goes for the count.

1...

2...

KICK OUT!

JOEY STYLES: “Jessie Diaz with the kick out! All because Santos didn't hook the leg, you always hook the leg!”

Santos is beside himself, not sure what to make of the resiliency of his opponent! Diaz tries to roll out of the way, but Santos drops on elbow on her back, stopping her from being able to reach her feet.

Diaz begins to scream as Santos gets back to his feet, to the point where tears are yelling up in her eyes. Santos, concerned that he may have severely injured her, gets closer to make sure she's okay. Suddenly, she kicks him in the knee and in one fluid motion DDTs him to the mat. Even in getting duped, motherfucker's still ridiculously photogenic!

Getting up to her feet, she grabs Santos by the hair and cinches in the Major Headache (Hell's Gate)! Santos is fading fast, as the referee checks on him. Grabbing his hand, he lifts his arm up once and drops it. It falls to the mat in a matter of moments. He does it once more, and the same end result happens. Once more he lifts it up, and on the drop...

Santos not only stops his hand, he locks it around his other hand and lifts Diaz up, looking for a powerbomb! Instead of dropping her though, he starts running, and hits a buckle bomb! She takes a few steps forward, out of the turnbuckle and falls face first on the mat. Santos continues smiling and steps over her and climbs to the top rope. He jumps off, and...

TONY AWARD (Shooting Star Press!) He nails it! Santos goes for the cover, this time hooking the outside leg.

WINNER: Tony Santos

JOEY STYLES: “Tony Santos! Picks up the win over Jessie Diaz in his Madness debut!

“Say what you want about the chicks in wrestling, the fact is in the XWF, they can and do take down the men! Just not tonight!

“When we come back, Mr. Satellite..... ahem.... excuse me... Mr. Supernova defends the XWF Television title against Nightmare!”

Madness returns and Sebastian Duke and his Brotherhood stand just outside Paul Heymans office. Sly, Pauls assistant, is nowhere to be found and Duke opens the door and enters along with his boys.

Heyman is startled and jumps out of his chair wearing only the top half of his suit and “King Madison” boxer shorts.

SEBASTIAN DUKE: “What the hell? Why are you not wearing pants?”

Sly emerges from under Pauls desk. She wipes her mouth and runs out of the room with her face beet red.

SEBASTIAN DUKE: “Ohhhhhhhh.”

PAUL HEYMAN: “What the hell do you want!?”

SEBASTIAN DUKE: “I'll make this quick. I have it on good authority that Eli James as well as Mystica will be at ringside as lumberjacks.”

PAUL HEYMAN: “So?”

SEBASTIAN DUKE: “You said last week that no one from the Circle or the Brotherhood could be at ringside.”

PAUL HEYMAN: “And?”

SEBASTIAN DUKE: “Eli James is associated with the Black Circle. So, if he's going to be down there, so will we.”

PAUL HEYMAN: “That's not going to happen.”

Duke comes around the desk and grabs Heyman by the lapels of his jacket and slams him against the wall.

SEBASTIAN DUKE: “I don't think you heard me. I said, we're going down there.”

PAUL HEYMAN: “C'mon, Duke! Be rational.”

SEBASTIAN DUKE: “Admittedly, that's not exactly my strongest point.”

PAUL HEYMAN: “I... I can deal with you, just let me go!”

Duke releases Heyman.

PAUL HEYMAN: “Since Eli James will be at ringside, I'll allow one representative from your Brotherhood to be there also.”

Duke nods his head and he and his Brotherhood begin to exit.

PAUL HEYMAN: “It can't be you.”

Duke stops near the door.

PAUL HEYMAN: “You can send anyone you want, as long as its not you.”

SEBASTIAN DUKE: “Put some damn pants on. Do you have any idea how hard it is to take you seriously right now?”

Duke exits and Madness fades to commercial.

JOEY STYLES: “The Madness is back! Supernova! Nightmare! The Television title is next!”

JASON DANIELS: "The following set for one fall! It is for the XWF Television Champioooonship!!"

The crowd cheers...

The Arena Lights fade until it is pitch black. “Your Nightmare has arrived” is shown on the X-Tron as Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare begins to play over the loud speakers.

JASON DANIELS: "Introducing first, the challenger, from parts unknown... NIGHTMARE!!!"

A trail of fire begins on the ground at the top of the ramp and begins to head down towards the ring, once it reaches the ring it splits into two and heads around the ring. Once the two trails meet on the opposite side of the ring flames explode out of the turn-buckles. The crowd are all at the feet looking as Nightmare climbs up onto the apron and then into the ring.

JASON DANIELS: "And his opponent from a planet I cannot pronounce... he's your Television Champion... Mr. Sat -- err... Mr. Supernova!!!"

Mr. Supernova drops down from the ceiling rafters and slowly, strides to the ring. Moving in an almost tantric and methodical, mannerism as a smirk adorns his face and an other wordily ambiance, glistens within his eyes.

Once Supernova reaches the ring, he launches himself up and over the ropes and lands directly onto his feet, in a semi crouched position as he lifts his head and stares out at the audience for a moment, before rising to his feet.

XWF Television Championship
Mr. Satellite Supernova
- vs -
Nightmare
Standard Rules

Both men circle around, Mr. Supernova tries to figure out how he's going to take on this beast of a man. Finally, they meet in the center of the ring with a lock-up, but Nightmare wastes no time shoving Nova right down to the ring canvas.

Nova shoots up, tries to lock-up again, but Nightmare shoves him right back down. But, Nova answers back quickly with a few right hands to the face and he's got Nightmare on his heels.

But big man isn't to be deterred. He kicks Mr. Supernova in the gut and then lays a mighty club onto the back dropping him to his knees. Nightmare knows he has to keep the pressure on the champ and he continues to lay those huge arms down on the body of Mr. Supernova.

Nightmare picks his opponent up and puts him against the turnbuckle and drives a shoulder hard into the mid-section.

"AHHRGH" Supernova yells.

Nightmare with the irish whip to the opposite corner, follows behind, but Nova leaps up and over as Nightmare crashes hard into the turnbuckle.

He stumbles away as Mr. Supernova hits a chest chop onto Nightmare.

"WOOOO!" yells the crowd.

Another chest chop...

"WOOO!"

Another...

"WOOO!"

Nightmare has had enough and he shoves Nova off him and slides out of the ring to collect himself as the crowd boos. Once gathered he climbs up onto the apron and stares down Mr. Supernova who has a look like 'who... me??' on his face.

Nightmare decides better of it and drops off the apron and decides he's going to strategize a bit on the outside. Again, seemingly focused, he hops up onto the apron, but Mr. Supernova is right there with the running baseball slide and Nightmare goes sprawling.

Here comes Mr. Supernova, taking advantage of the fallen Nightmare, he grabs him by the head and smashes him face first into the barricade -- !!

Nova works him back into the ring, but Nova takes to the apron and ascends the top rope. He waits... yells for Nightmare to get to his his feet and...

DIVING BULLDOG OFF THE TOP --!!

Both men crash to the canvas, but Mr. Supernova is up first. He sees that Nightmare is still down and he hits him with a standing/falling dropkick right into the ribs.

Nightmare is resilient and he stumbles back to his feet, but Nova is trying to keep him off his game as he lays a few stiff right hands as they move across the ring into the corner turnbuckle.

Mr. Supernova with another chest chop...

"WOOOO!"

He irish whips Nightmare into the opposite corner, but Nightmare rebounds off it like he felt nothing and comes firing out of the corner and takes Nova off his feet with a hard clothesline.

Nightmare looks a little peeved about the chest chops and starts laying the heavy boots to the body of Mr. Supernova. He picks him up by the hair, and goes for the body slam, but Nova slips out the back--!

He kicks Nightmare in the knee -- hard -- and rinse and repeat folks.

Nightmare knows he's gotta get free and he retreats to the ring apron to get his bearing back. Nova sees an opening though and he runs toward the ropes and tries for a springboard missile dropkick.

Ah, but Nightmare was just baiting him! He catches Nova by the head and guillotines his neck off the top rope and Mr. Supernova rockets (no pun intended) onto his back.

Nightmare slides back into the ring and hits a big body splash for good measure. He covers...

2...

Kick-out by Mr. Supernova!

Nightmare moves to the ground game now. He puts Nova in a vise grip headlock with his 24'' pythons (that's not copyrighted is it?) and he's squeezing tight.

Mr. Supernova must be seeing spots, but he tries to climb to a knee, tries to fight loose and -- Nightmare quickly transitions it into a power slam leaving Nova on the mat.

Nightmare hops up onto the second rope and crashes down onto Nova with a falling body splash. Dear god, that must be like a tree falling on you!

He covers --

2...

KICK-OUT AGAIN BY MR. SUPERNOVA!

Frustrated, Nightmare starts to lay the boots back into the fallen Mr. Supernova. He lets him stumble back to his feet, and Nightmare goes for a haymaker, but Nova blocks it and tries for an irish whip into the ropes.

Reversed! On the rebound Nightmare tries for a knee to the stomach, but Nova grabs his leg and tumbles into a roll-up pin -- !

1...

2...

No sir! Kick-out by Nightmare!

Nova back to his feet, turns and whoa! Nightmare clears him out with a big clothesline and I don't think Nova was expecting Nightmare to get back to his feet that quickly.

Nova rolls out onto the ring apron as he tries to shake the cobwebs free, but he doesn't see Nightmare running the ropes and he collides with him sending Mr. Supernova off the apron and face first into the barricade. Ouch!!

Nightmare gives quick pursuit, and hammers a few body shots into Nova before sliding him back into the ring. It's back to the heavy boot stomps to keep Nova grounded, but then he adds insult to injury and pushes a boot heel into Nova's face as he's squirming beneath it.

Nightmare laughs as he looks out into the crowd.

He picks Nova up and grabs him by his hair and -- hurls him halfway across the ring like he's a rag doll!! Holy shit! Nightmare threw him like he weighed nothing!!

Nightmare descends down onto Nova and he's got him back in that vicious headlock of his, but Nova can't let himself get fatigued by it. He quickly climbs to his feet, but Nightmare sends him off the ropes.

Ah, but Nightmare makes the mistake this time. He lowers his head too early and Mr. Supernova kicks him in the face.

Nova is running, hits the opposite ropes and flies -- !

He hits Nightmare in the face with a flying forearm smash, and the big man is rocking on his heels. Nova grabs him by the waist and -- German Suplex pin!

1...

2...

KICK-OUT BY NIGHTMARE!

Both men back to their feet. Nova hits the ropes, and tries for a cross-body, but Nightmare catches him in his arms. He tries for the spinebuster, but Nova is slippery, and he slides out the back!

He tries the roll-up pin again, but thinks better of it, and sets up a Boston Crab!

But he can't turn it and Nightmare uses his strength to kick him into the corner. Here comes big man and -- Nova greets him with a kick to the teeth!

Nightmare stumbles away, but Mr. Supernova shoots out of the corner and tries for a shoulder block, but Nightmare catches him. He goes to toss Nova out of the ring, but he doesn't see him land gracefully onto the apron!

Nova to the top, tries to connect on an axe-handle, but once again Nightmare uses his girth to catch him and he tosses Nova across the ring with a violent belly-to-belly suplex! Nova looks like he just got tossed from a car!

Nightmare stalks now, calling for Nova to get back to his feet... He does and Nightmare is there to take his head off with a vicious clothesline!!

It looks like we're going home ladies and gents. Nightmare signals for The Break.

He picks up Nova, but wait, he's fighting free and he gets loose. Nova now, tries to hit a jumping DDT, but no!

Nightmare once again using that size and strength rotates Nova's move into a powerbomb down onto the canvas. That might be it folks!

He covers --

1...

2...

KICK-OUT NOVA!

Frustration is setting in for Nightmare. He knows he was just half a second away from being the new TV champ. He pushes Nova into the corner and hits the ropes to gain momentum for a crushing clothesline, but Nova slips out, and hits a low dropkick to Nightmare's knee taking the big man off his feet.

Nightmare is a bit dazed as he gets back to his feet, but Mr. Supernova isn't letting up and he connects with a running enzuigiri to the back of the head and Nightmare falls face first onto the mat.

Nova covers...

1...

2...

KICK-OUT NIGHTMARE!

Nova argues to the ref who he thought was out of position to make an accurate count and Nightmare rolls out onto the apron to get a second wind. He has his head between the ropes as he sits on his knees breathing hard.

Nova sees an opening...

He runs -- and SEEING STARS (RKO) and Nightmare goes sprawling backwards and crashes to the mat on the outside.

The ref begins to count --

1...

2...

3...

Nova is letting him. Screw it. He'll retain on a DQ.

4...

5...

6...

7...

8...

Nightmare miraculously is back to his feet! He slides back into the ring on the ref's nine count.

But Nova is waiting for him from the top rope and he connects on a flying knee to the face once again taking the big man off his feet.

He covers --

1...

2...

KICK-OUT NIGHTMARE!

Both men get back to their feet, albeit slowly, what a title fight we've seen here tonight, folks.

Mr. Supernova is off and running into the ropes, tries for a cross-body, but Nightmare catches him and tries to transition it into The Break.

But Nova is the slippery type and he converts the finish into a swinging DDT.

He covers --

1...

2...

KICK-OUT AGAIN BY NIGHTMARE!

Both men again back to their feet and the frustration is setting in for Mr. Supernova now. He starts to throw those hard rights into the face of Nightmare. He hits the ropes, connects on a shoulder block that this time takes the tired big man off his feet.

Nova has to stay on him though and he takes back to the ropes looking for a springboard moonsault off the second rope.

Nightmare rolls out of the way, but Nova lands on his feet like a cat! Nightmare expects to see Nova lying on the mat, completely unaware Nova had landed on his feet. Nightmare turns around and Nova hits him with Seeing Stars! Nova lifts Nightmare to his feet. HERE IT COMES!

DARKEST LIGHT!

Nova hooks the leg!

The lights stay lit for the moment, then go out completely.

Then, they return.

JOEY STYLES: “What the hell is going on here!? Feder and Evertrust are trying to get this highly anticipated match started! And these lights in Cleveland decide to malfunction!?”

It looks as if whatever was going on with the lights has resolved itself and will remain lit. Feder and Evertrust begin to circle each other one more time. Annnnnnnnd the lights are out.

JOEY STYLES: “Oh Jesus fucking Christ! Is Roger Goodell back there playing with the electrical boxes again?”

“We'll take a quick break to get this sorted out!”
