[The Scene opens into a wrestling ring inside a Stadium in Baltimore in 1991, and then we see a 15 year old Reggie standing beside his legendary pro wrestling father Luis Smith aka Wrestler81. Then we see that Wrestler81 see’s in a brutal brawl against a Puerto Rican guy named The Bleeder, after the match ended in a pinfall victory for The Bleeder, we see that Yong Reggie follows him inside the backstage to hear him talk to a ring interviewer. The interview had a Steve Sayor’s like body and was in a suit as he was speaking to him.]
The Interviewer:
That was one brutal match…
[Then a teenaged Reggie shakes his head yes as his father was speaking to the interviewer.]
Wrestler81:
That Match was hard... I worked hard to give my fans what they want.
The Interviewer:
How do you feel about showing your son about--
[Then we see Reggie take the mic from the interviews hands and speaking in front of the camera.]
Reggie:
Listen Up; my father should have won that damn match. That Puerto Rican wrestler guy was lucky; this man wrestled around the united Sates even down In Japan and was a Television Champion in that continent about 7 times. He had many other titles, but the Television Championship meant something to me…and—
[Then his father pulls the mic away from Reggie’s hand gives it back the Interviewer.]
The Interviewer:
heh, quite a son you go there huh?
Wrestler81:
Yeah man…I hope one day he can get into these ropes…and become a legend and a TV Champ like I was.
[Then we see Reggie walking off the scene as his father and the interviewer continues to speak with the cameras off.]
The Interviewer:
Do you think you still got the power you once had in Pro Wrestling?
Wrestler81:
I always would have that drive to wrestle, but I feel like my time is running out.
The Interviewer:
What Do You Mean by that?.
[Then Luis then looks on the floor and then looks up on the ceiling and then looks back to speak to the guy.]
Wreslter81:
I might end up retiring for good…I’m in my late 50’s pushing into my early 60’s.
The Interviewer:
What will your Son think about your decision…to leave this bidness once and for all?
Wreslter81:
He will understand…when he gets to be older…and huge successful man in this bidness.
The Interviewer:
Well Luis...thanks’ for letting me interviews you.
Wrestler81:
No Problem…Don’t tell my son what I just told you…
[Then we see Luis walking to his locker room with Reggie as the Interviewer was standing in sea of guilt and deceitfulness after what Reggie’s father just told him as the scene fades to black.]
