Eli grabs Mystica following Wednesday Warfare in the backstage area...

Eli James IV "Before you head back to the Promise Land.. I need to talk to ya real quick.

Mystica nods and the two walk outside together while Eli talks to him.

Mystica "Congrats on the win, by the way.

Eli James IV "Thank ya. You did well yourself. I'm glad you're with us.

Mystica "I'm glad, as well, Eli.

Eli James IV "I'm gonna be gone for several days. Doin' some work at other places. Can ya do me a favor? Now, it may seem scary, but I know you can do it.

Mystica "Sure, mate. I owe you that.

Eli James IV "Preach for me Sunday to the Congregation. I'll be gone til Monday. They'll ask ya where I'm out. Just tell 'em I had to be away. The Almighty is at work.

Mystica "Um. I'll try. I..

Eli places his hand on Mystica's shoulder firm.. looks at him with a very serious look..

Eli James IV "Mystica doesn't appear on the pulpit. Got it? Just let David preach. NO Mystica. If he shows, we're gonna have a problem.

Mystica, well, David, has a nervous worry on his face, but nods in agreement with Eli. Eli's face goes from serious to an easy smile. Eli pats him on the shoulder and walks off as the two go their separate ways. Mystica looks a the ground for a quick second, then looks back up at Eli walking away.

Mystica "What about Elisha? Where can I find him to talk about our match?

Eli keeps walking off but yells..

Eli James IV "No worry, man. I'm sure ya'll find each other when it's time. Hehehe..

Eli gets in his personal helicopter by himself again. It lifts and flies off to an unknown location. The helicopter's light is shining down and fighting an open area to land. The area is black. For miles on all sides. No light of any kind, except by what the moon gives by its reflection. That and the helicopter spotlight of course. It lands in the open area and flies off once Eli gets off. Apparently, someone is on ground with him with a video camera recording.

Eli James IV "A busy man, I am. Keepin' up with everyone back at the Promise Land.. makin' sure my Village is runnin' right.. and my hands in many baskets back at the XWF. Heh.

Tonight.. Gary.. ya slammed me after the match. Brotherhood got a step ahead at the end. Congrats are in order.

Eli starts laughing and giving a slow loud clap.

Eli James IV "Ya got the best of me, didn't ya? Oh, wait. I'm here. Standing. Laughing. Smilin'. And loved every second of it. I'll talk about all that later.

Well, man.. congrats are in order for my opponent next Wednesday on Warfare.. Tony Santos. You did it, man. You went past Duke.. you went past Gilmour.. and now you get to fight me. I heard ya rant on a little 'bout me. While you may.. think.. you know me.. you can't uncover the mystery that is.. me. Hehehe. It's funny how this whole world of competition works, isn't it?

I beat Duke. You beat Duke. I beat Gilmour. You beat Gilmour. You lost to Stevie Tyler and I just beat him. Yet, you get to fight for a title he doesn't get to. Strange world, man.

You spoke a few things 'bout me when you were preparing for the gauntlet match that were.. wrong. You said my 'group' doesn't make 'bones' that I'm the leader. There's many things you fella's don't seem to understand around here. Have you not heard? Heh. You boys place a title on someone so it fits your mold here. Leader? Heh. Is Eli the leader of The Congregation? Is he not? Let me fill you in on some holes in your thought process. This one is for free. Hehe.

When someone is put in a leadership role, or made a leader over a specific group of people.. that leader must adhere to certain things. That leader, if fails, can be pushed aside.. made lower.. or let go completely to never have any association with that group ever again. Do you not understand? Leaders can fail. Leaders can fall. Leaders can be replaced. Leaders come.. leaders go. Me? Heh. Maybe you should think on that.

Hehe. Nah, I can't let it stay there. You'll mess it up. Tony, do I look like I'm going to fail? Do I look like I'm going to go away? Do I look like I'm going to be pushed aside? Hehehe. I know.. I know. You're gonna be the man to do it. You're gonna put an end to Eli James and his Congregation. You're gonna show that Eli is just a man and that he is capable of failing. That right? Is that how this is gonna work? Place me in your world again? Your world.. now.. its setup to fail. This world, left alone, could do just fine. It's people like you that stress it out.. hurt it.. corrupt it.. and will be the reason why its destroyed. It's people like you that think they know.. that's what gets ya in trouble. Thinkin' ya have all the answers. You got it all figured out.

You say 'Eli came to be with a proposal to join his group'... like it's some sort of favor if ya did join. I'm not here to grant wishes or give out favors. I'm here to save the lost, and those that reject the message of the Almighty will be forever damned.

You don't wanna be saved? Heh. No bother here. You wanna rot away in your sins, then that's your choice. You may think you can do more on your own, but that too is just an illusion. There's strength in numbers for you people. The good book says 'Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.' Anyone can take some scissors and cut a piece of string.. but to use that pair to cut a climbing rope... good luck. One man can do plenty, but several can do more. WEAK people work alone. You may think it's stronger to work alone, but again.. an illusion.

You don't wanna work with people, why? You say you don't wanna serve anyone? Can ya handle truth, Tony? You.. already.. serve.. someone. You pay taxes? You are forced to serve your country in many ways. You are serving all the time without even realizing it, man. Whether you like it or not, you'll always be serving someone. I just offered you a new world of service, unlike this place. Big difference.

And just like a few others.. you think I keep this title in my heart.. you think I need this belt.. you think I NEED to hold on to this belt.. those phrases.. that sorta talk.. it's from your world. Hehe.

Just wait, Tony. You're time is comin'.
