Backstory/Important Character Details:
In Samoa, Maui always stood out, both in stature and spirit. Towering over others even as a teenager, his obsession with power and strength became apparent early on. Maui was relentless, spending countless hours lifting heavy stones, wrestling with his brothers, and training against the crashing ocean waves. His village often referred to him as Le Faʻamaualuga, "The Pride," for his unparalleled determination to prove that Samoan strength was unmatched.
Maui’s journey toward greatness took a turn when he was taken under the wing of a respected leader who taught him to channel his obsession with strength into a disciplined pursuit of dominance. Under his guidance, Maui not only honed his natural abilities but also learned the importance of representing his family and his people with honor. He vowed to uphold the legacy of Samoan warriors. Eager to test himself beyond the shores of his homeland, Maui began traveling to nearby islands and countries, challenging the strongest wrestlers and fighters he could find. He never traveled alone though because his family of brothers, cousins, and uncles always by his side, forming a united front that carried their heritage with pride. With every victory, his reputation as an unstoppable force grew, but so did his hunger to prove himself on the grandest stage of all.
Now, Maui has set his sights on the XWF, a league filled with some of the toughest competitors in the world. For him, this is more than just wrestling, this is a mission. Maui intends to show the world the strength of Samoa and claim his rightful place as the best wrestler on the planet.

The arena lights dim as the sound of thunder rolls through the speakers, followed by the steady rhythm of traditional Samoan drums. His theme sing then hits as a burst of red pyro explodes out in a quick fashion and Maui comes out to the top of the ramp, flexing with a smug grin as if he owns the planet. He makes his way down the ring, rolling his shoulders and bouncing his pecs as he approaches the ring. He stares at it a bit, then jumps onto the apron in one leap and gets inside, walking in circles like an angry pit looking for its meat. He pulls on the ropes, then walks to the center of the ring, readying for the match.
