The clock strikes 7 am on the dot. We begin in beautiful Virginia Beach, Virginia. The predicted forecast today is more rain with a high of 83. Not a whole much happened last night for John Austin except for a random wild pig walking down the street. How random is that?.... I know, Austin said the same thing too when he seen it.

Anyways we begin but where else, in Austin's lovely beach front condo. This have been the main stay for John Austin and the promos he has done lately. Today is no different.

We see John sitting on his couch with the X-treme title draped over his right shoulder. The name plate on the title is scratched out with what looks like to have been a key but you can still make out the name "STEVE DAVIDS". John picks up his cup of coffee and takes a sip. He lays the cup back down on the glass coffee table in-front of him

Hello everyone, welcome to the home of the NEW and TRUE X-treme champion. Last Saturday at the Wild Card pay per view. I set out what I have planned to do and that was out wrestle three of XWF's best. I told you all that I was going to become the new champion and I told you all that I was going to win.

Suddenly we hear a voice harp from behind the camera, it's John's friend, Chris Thomas.

Steve Davids won that match John...Don't lie to them.

Man shut up!...Okay, okay...Steve Davids won the match but he stole the victory right out from under-neath me. So if he wants to steal my win then I am stealing his title. Better Chris?

BETTER!

Okay. *clears throat* Steve, you no good bastard... did you really think you was going to walk out with the title on Saturday?...I told you, the only way you will get this title away from me is by prying it from my cold dead hands. So go ahead and whine to management, whine to your fans about how you are the rightful champ but let's face it, you don't deserve this title. I am the true X-treme champion...NOT YOU!

John takes another sip of his coffee before going back to speaking

With that peasant out of the way. As the new champ, I told management I was ready for any and all comers. So who does management decide should have the first shot against their rightful champion....Shawn Steele.

Suddenly we hear Chris break out into uncontrollable laughter.

Easy Chris, don't piss yourself.

John focuses his attention back to the camera.

Yes, Shawn Steele is the first man to step up and take me on. When management told me you were facing me, I had to seriously look you up on the site and see who exactly you are...and I am still puzzled. I am going to make sure to send you packing back to where-ever in the hell you came from Steele. You say you like to hurt people and make them feel pain? Haha if that isn't the same song and dance I heard from Steve Davids.

John takes a short pause

If you are going to repeat the same verbatim that Steve has said then this will be a cake walk for me, shiiiit. Make no mistake about it, I am a fighting champion and I will make damn sure that this is the last time my name is associated with the likes of Shawn Steele.

What happened to Matt Lennox?

What happened to him Chris? Well when I took off with the car, I parked the car at some local amusement park. I figured he needed some fun when he got out the trunk. Enjoy himself a hot-dog ya know?

I know, hell he deserves a hot-dog or a burger for his troubles.

John focuses his attention back towards the camera and resumes speaking.

I have said it so many times before and I will say it again. Anyone who faces me in the ring brushes elbows with greatness. People have faced me and their careers have sky rocketed or they have failed. Hell poor Cade Legend ended up committing vehicular suicide because he couldn't handle the pressure. Shawn Steele consider this a lesson in wrestling one o one from yours truly.

John takes a short pause.

So get on your knees and thank the man in the sky for everything he has given you. Thank him for everything you accomplished in this world because after Madness this Monday, no longer will they remember Shawn Steele as this young rookie trying to make a name for himself. No longer will people remember you as this tough powerhouse. People will remember you as the guy who took on the TRUE X-treme champion and failed.

Wait a minute!

What now Chris?

You're not the X-treme champion!

Man, I told you to shut it haha. I am the champ, see this title, whose name is on it?

John holds the title up in view of Chris who is behind the camera.

Well it looks you scratched it out with something but it says Steve Davids.

Wait? It does?

John pulls out a small piece of paper out of his pocket and tapes it to the nameplate. We can see the name written out on the paper as "JOHN AUSTIN" with crayon.

There we go!

Haha Man get out of here with that shit.

John looks back at the camera one last time, with the title raised in the air.

Shawn Steele, this Monday you are stepping in the ring with the best wrestler in the world. You have no chance in hell and I promise you, this will be the last match you ever have with me....The champ has spoken!

John raises the title up in the air as the scene fades out to black.
