Explain to me why it is more noble to kill 10,000 men in battle than a dozen at dinner
Men, grown men, ran screaming. There was a thick smoke engulfing the air, the fires in the villages weren't nearly as strong as the fires inside the advancing army. The enemies, as some would call them, who had struck when nobody thought they would. Pushed through the lines when many thought it was impossible.
A previously unbreakable empire, impenetrable fotress, an a tyrannical dictatorship which kept everyone else around it down (they had all the gold, all the wealth, all the accolades), was on their heels. Their generals were scrambling. They had never anticipated that it would get this far. They never thought that an army that was considered to be much weaker could bring the fight to their doorstep.
But that is what they did.
Men, grown men, ran screaming.
The blood of the empire around them lay on the swords of the underdogs, and it stained the ground. It stained the faces of the men who advanced with ruthless abandon. It stained the clothes of the men who once thought they were untouchable.
Everything must come to an end.
Not every good thing. There was nothing good about these men. They lacked morals, lacked faith, lacked personality, lacked...........courage. They hid behind the name they had built oh so long ago, and rode the train as far as it could go. Generation after generation had been told about these men, how these men ruled with an iron fist, how these men were truly the Apex.
Now, as their empire burned around them, their king lay dead. A king who became too confident, a king who became too full of himself, a king who thought that he could never be usurped. He was ambushed by someone who had been a king for a lot longer than he, had a lot more experience at being king than he, and a man who was even more ruthless than he was.
The hunter had become the hunted, and Satan himself had slain the beast.
Now the empire was up for grabs, it paved the way for other armies to gain confidence, to pick their spots, to slaughter the masses. These machine men with machine hearts and machine minds, were now the subject of the same tortures and brutality that they had inflicted upon the masses for far too long.
Two valiant men stood their ground. A man by the name of James and a man by the name of Drew. James was a slick talker, a conniver, but was known not to show up to the biggest battles but rather sit back and let his "family" do the heavy listing.
Drew was a bit of the village idiot, who jumped head first into battles without thinking and had taken more lumps than he had dished out. Both of these men had been sheltered by the king, who now lay dead only a few feet from them. Both of these men stood as the last true testament to a kingdom that was still breathing, but barely.
Through the smoke, more screams could be heard. Horrible screams, vile screams, blood-curdling.
James and Drew stood their ground, swords drawn. They were ready for whatever lie just beyond the smokey abyss. As the screams and snaps got closer, Drew's lip quivered.
Just then, when they weren't ready, they heard "JUSTICEEEEEEEEEE" behind them, and turned to meet a charging man who also had his weapon drawn. They did their best to fend him off, as they had the numbers game.........but just then, through the smoke, stepped the man they had only heard about in stories. A man they didn't really know, but always thought never existed.
Through the smoke stepped a mythical being known only as Hanari.
He was holding an arm, freshly severed. The bone still stuck out with serrated edges, as if it were snapped. He had a bag over his shoulder, also filled with freshly snapped arms.
They looked at each other, before lunging.
The battle raged on as the smoke got thicker, and the fires grew larger. People ran through the haze around them, screaming. Buildings collapsed from the flames, and the distant sound of clashing metal could be heard. Battle cries, dying cries, and some just cries.
The four men put on an epic battle through the chaos, but at the end it was the arm collectors standing over the top of what was once the most powerful and longest reinging empire in the world.
Drew and James looked up at the two men above them, and they could see their world crashing before their very eyes.
The two men said nothing as the two above them drew their swords.......
The last thing they saw was the shiny metal driving its way down towards them...........
Fade to black........
Know thy self, know thy enemy. A thousand battles, a thousand victories.

All empires fall, eventually.
"Chico......
Where do I even begin? Drew is a loon, dat es known, but he jus' proved to us all dat he es ignorant too. Possibly even racist. He es so concerned with how I talk, mang, but he needs to focus on what I do in the ring. So focused on my accent, that he fails to realize that Hanari has been tearing shit up around here since he has been back. That Hanari es dangerous, mang, and wants dis more den anything else.
Chu wanna know what makes Hanari so dangerous? He has nothing to lose. Who is expecting missa Justice and Hanari to win dis match?
Cero. Ninguna. Nadda Nadie. Nobody, mang. Chu claim Hanari has been trying to stake his claim? Why not? He has been de underdog in every match he has eva had here. Chu can't say he es wrong. Hanari has been given no credit, no admiration and most of all, no respect. Chu claim nobody knows who Hanari es, but that es false. Purely false. Hanari changed that in his second ever match when he shock the world and came out of nowhere to win de TV title. Since den, everyone has known his name.......but nobody has said it the way it deserves to be said. Chu have been in de limelight for so long, riding de coattails of Robert Main, that your view of the game is obstructed. Chu think chu es invisible. Chu think that the name APEX makes Drew Archyle untouchable. Chu think that chu can get away with a comedy routine with some tough talk sprinkled in because chu neva had anyone question it.......
Hanari es gon' do more than question it, hermano.
Hanari es going to punch chu right in de mouth, and then we will see how tough Drew Archyle truly es. Sure, he has taken many a beating in his day, but when the chips are down and he no longer have missa Main to rely on, to back him up, to bail him out, les see jus' how tough he is. Chico since day one, something Hanari HAS been saying es that he has had to work for everything he has. He has had to survive, and he know how to survive. Chu wanna talk about Hanari "earning" wins? Yeah, over nobodies. Dis has been a tournament where it has been two teams from the beginning. Apex and de Arm Collectors. Nobody else in dis tournament matters. It was destined to be us from jumpstreet, mang. Dis little "streak", sure Hanari got the pinfall and de submission both times, but dat wasn't the measuring stick. That was no the bar. That was light work. Dis match es de bar. Jus' like the match agains' Santos, jus' like the 5 stages of hell match, jus' like the match against Lacklan. Dose were tests for Hanari, and he came up jus' an inch short each time. If Hanari was some puta, he woul' have packed it up long ago. Or, he would have went Gilmour and started wit de "woe es me". He no do that. Hanari learned from every loss. He grew.
Chu see, rock bottom has made far more champions than privilege eva did. Chu has been sheltered, and now chu has been exposed. Sure, chu all have had a long reign as tag champs, a historic reign, a reign dat makes people go "wow". But chu has never truly been tested. Chu has always had backup from Jim, Robert and James, and chu has had management in ya back pocket. Chu has been coddled. Nobody wanted to see APEX lose because APEX was good for business. XWF was going through a transition mang, it had a lot of moving parts, it was starting to crack. APEX was de glue that held it together, it made free agents want to join, it showed stability when de future was unclear.
It was a band-aid.
Now, everyone es bored with Apex. It es a new wave, mang, it es a new era. Soldier came back and took out chor king, and now de Arm Collectors are coming for de pawns. This business es a chess game, and dis es chor check mate. The era of Apex is dwindling.
Has Hanari really made that much of an impression on you? Chu has to bring Hanari up because chu know what he bring to de table, but Hanari has seen how Apex talks about opponents. Hanari has seen how chu decimate opponents with words, and this one............les' be honest holmes, dis was weak. Dis was more of a compliment than it was a diss. All chu had on me was that I have a funny accent, and I am not "proven". Did chu really need to go on the airwaves and tell dese people something they didn't already know? Dey know how Hanari talk, and dey know Hanari may not have de experience as some of de other people on dis card even......but one thing dey do know, Hanari never quit. Dey know he es one tough hijo de puta. Chu seem to think Hanari isn't Dominican? That es fine. Chu think Hanari can talk fine, den talk in his broken English, dats fine. Robert and Jim must keep chu in the house too much, dey need to let chu out more. Have you never heard an immigrant person speak? Have you never been to any Wal-Mart, convinient store, mall, park, hell anywhere in public? Chu sound ignorant. We are taught English from a young age, Hanari know some things, but has trouble with others.
Is this really the best you've got? Hanari talk funny?
Bravo, Drew. Bravo.
Chu had nothing but compliments for Hanari in de ring, but had to cling to one thing that he cannot help.
Bravo, Drew.
But let Hanari tell chu this, his upstairs es no twisted. Mentally, Hanari es as strong as he ever been. For de first time since he was green he es truly confident. For de first time since he can remember he is all there. Hanari has never been so focused on something en his life.
Tomorrow night, empire's fall. Underdogs win. News is made, and companies are changed. Tomorrow night APEX falls to the underdogs who you feel can't touch chu..........Fatal flaw, chico.
Tomorrow night, Hanari and Steve Justice make history and end this APEX epidemic once an' for all.
Tommorow night, the entire crowd will be standing, chanting..........
Viva el dominicano!
Viva el Savage!
Viva el Hanari Carnes!
Viva el campeones!!!!
