Prelog

A nightmare is just something that we have all made up. Fear is not real, it is a product of thoughts you create. Nightmares are just the product of someone living a life filled with nothing but thoughts of fear. When you are able to overcome these irrational thoughts then and only then can you overcome the nightmares.

A Robot

The new outfit is stiff, almost too stiff to move in. The suit feeling as if it were the suit of armor knights would wear back in the days of kings, queens, and dragons. Cobra struggles to move towards the door attempting to leave the hospital as soon as possible.

Another check-up after Monday Madness, typical doctors being the frightened little people who help produce the thoughts creating fear in the lives of too many people. But Cobra was fine, well as fine as a man who survived a car explosion and a house fire could be after going through a wrestling match.

The will of Cobra is too strong, his heart too great and he will spend no long in the bed of a hospital wasting away precious time in which he could be helping his tag team partner KnightMask. KnightMask has already been attacked by Big Bag Leroy and his mind control tricks only surviving because the people of martial arts proved to be stronger in their mind then the mind control was.

The door was now behind Cobra and he was still inching his way out of the hospital, step by step he was going to get out of their no matter what. The only question was, where was he going to go?

A taxi is running and waiting right out front and Cobra would smile but no one would notice it behind the new mask. He limps his way down the ramp and to the car, finally entering it only to be heckled by the driver.

“I didn’t know it was Halloween already pal.” The driver says with a smirk on his face.

Cobra shrugs off the comment thinking of KnightMask and knowing he needs to get to him and help as soon as he possibly can.

“Ya hear me buddy? I said why are you wearing that costume?” Another remark from the driver of the yellow taxi.

Cobra stops looking down towards his hands and looks up towards the driver, using the mirror so that his lazy ass doesn’t have to turn all the way around. Crimson Cobra looks at the surrounding windows of the car and notices that they are all a very dark tint so no one can see in to what is going on.

Crimson presses a button on his helmet and it begins to raise the mask. The mirror like face piece is the first part to come off, Cobra takes it and places it in his lap. The driver’s face changes completely from the joking smirk to a horrified grimace.

Crimson Cobra’s bodies as well as his face have been horrifically modified from the car explosion that he luckily survived. The suit not only cools down his body’s temperature if it gets too high but it is also flame

and will keep Cobra safe from another fire. The mask helps Cobra to breathe after being in the explosion he flew into a support beam of the house and crushed the right side of his ribs which also smashes his right lung. The breathing support is made to help Cobra breathe as well as filter out any gas or smoke from the breathable oxygen.

But now that Cobra has shut up the idiotic taxi driver he is ready to meet his tag team partner and exact his revenge on the ninja clan that is set on killing him and KnightMask.

“I’m ready to go to my Halloween convention whenever you’re ready to start driving.” Cobra says with a very angered tone.

The Scene of the Crime

Pulling up to the ruble that once was Cobra’s great mansion the taxi comes to a stop. Crimson Cobra opens the door and leaves without paying the man. The driver is very frustrated and begins to get out of the car but as soon as he does Crimson looks back and the man can only see himself in the mirror like mask of Cobra. The man slowly steps back towards the driver side of the car. Reaching the door he opens it gets in and screeches the wheels as he speeds off.

“They have to have left something.” Cobra is thinking to himself and hoping that he is able to find a clue of who his attackers where under the mask so that he may make them pay.

Crimson Cobra’s thought process has changed drastically since joining KnightMask. Cobra has become much more proud of his martial art as well as his partners and almost as if KnightMask is taking over Cobra’s mind just as Big Bad Leroy did to the martial artists Cobra would never even think of using a weapon against any type of opponent making sure to show that his sport, his art is better than anything and anyone.

“This is worse than Duke being buried alive on live television. I know these bastards weren’t smart enough to remove all of the evidence.” Cobra is again finding himself in the thought process, a very dangerous place to be if one has the wrong mind set.

Entering what’s left of the house Cobra searches and searches. Under a pile of rubble he sees something that is oddly brighter than everything else. The red color is shooting out towards him under the filthy colored rubble. Cobra tosses the pieces of the house aside and finds a gas canister.

Another time that the smirk would come across Cobra’s face knowing he found something from the enemies. Continuing to look deeper into the situation Cobra is examining the canister. At first Cobra can find nothing until he flips the canister upside down and reads “Property of the Rodrigo family.”

“Rodrigo…. I know that name.”
