RECENTLY I have told the story of how I met my wife Maria, how my early wrestling career stalled from early injuries mostly to do with concussion issues, and how I managed to find a way to get my early career back on track with finding money to get me across to Australia and Australia and Japan.

Here is my story of AUSTRALIA.

1997
Dunedin Airport
New Zealand

So now Mastermind have been given the all clear from his concussion issues that had forced him to sit out at least 4 months of his early wrestling career, he now had the money behind him to fund a trip to Australia and Japan to get his career back on track.

He was at Dunedin airport waiting to board a plane to Wellington which he then would get a flight to Sydney, Australia.

With him was Maria, his future wife but at the moment they were friends. Also waiting with him was his boss Markus Shaw. Maria's father.

'Now don't forget," started Markus "Once you get to Sydney you meet up with Franky. He will set you up with your own office while you are in Australia. Study the Aussie Stock Market and if you did well here, you'll definitely do well over there."

"Yes sir," smiled Mastermind "In between my matches of course."

"Oh of course," replied Markus

Maria cleared her throat.

"Okay darling I'm going. Good luck 'M' fir your trip I hope you find what you are looking for and see you when you get back."

"Thank you, sir."

Markus walked off to the other side of the room.

"I've got your address," said Maria quietly "So I'll write you when I can. Don't forget if you move you send me your new addresses."

"I won't forget," smiled Mastermind "I dared not too."

Maria smiled and had tears in her eyes.

"Look I need to do this for my own sanity and future, it should take me a year, and then I'll be back."

"I know," said Maria "I'm just being a stupid female "

"You know you could always come visit if it gets too much?"

Maria nodded "I know that too. We will see."

The announcement came over the intercom that Mastermind's flight was boarding. Mastermind looked at Maria.

"I need to get going."

"I know you do. Good luck over there."

They kept looking at one another and then they stepped closer together, and shared a kiss, that was very passionate. Maria was the first to pull away, and she did so completely. With tears in her eyes, she turned and headed the other way, past her father, who turned around, gave Mastermind a quick wave, and then ran off after his daughter.

Mastermind had a lump in his throat. For one clear few seconds he had seconds thought of not going, but he knew his greater future was at stake, so he needed to do this now, or never.

He grabbed his back pack, and headed towards the gate.

CURRENT TIME

The camera fades in to the cabin of Mastermind's Private Plane, as he is on his way from Australia back to the United States for his next match. He is holding his Television Title, that he still held from beating Peter Gilmour for just the second time. He looks into the camera.

"So as my fans can see I am still the Television Champion. I bet Peter Gilmour like I said I was going to, and now I am on my way back to the States where I will defend the title again in three days against a new comer Hanari Carnes, in Billings, Montana.

"Hanari, you'll be pleased to know that I am still the Television Champion. I wasn't going to lose to Peter Gilmour. There was no way in hell I'll do that, because I know he would only turn up Montana and then lose it straight to you, and that's why I wouldn't accept that outcome.

"I've held this title for over 125 days. 2nd equal at the moment for the longest length of time, by the time I get to Montana I'll be outright 2nd.

"Now Hanari I don't know much about you, but I feel that I will get to know a little bit more than I want to over the next few days before Savage. That'll give me time to do some more scouting.

"I hope you are up for the challenge Hanari, because I am not going to let this thing go that easily.

"Peter's now in my past, you are now in my future, and at Present my main job is to get to our match in one piece. The question is are you going to ready for the Television Champion? I certainly need a challenge."

Mastermind holds up the Television Title.

"You want it? Then give me the biggest challenge that you have given anyone lately and I mean that. I'll see you Saturday if not before then.

"Oh yea I get to name the stipulation. How about Submission Match. Because I use my submission move, The Mind Controller, to win most of my matches, and that's what is going to happen when I beat you. Using the Mind Controller."

Mastermind gives the camera a slight smirk before sitting back and closing his eyes. The camera fades out.
