Previously

Mastermind started work for Maria's father, Markus, who gave him to stock options to invest, so that he could try building a wrestling career as it was currently stalled at the moment because of his concussion and injuries.

He invested in his first lot of stock only for them to take a nose dive, before making a come back and returning back where they had started from by the end of the day on the New Zealand Stock Market.

Now having spent the night researching numbers, Mastermind was ready for the stock market to re-open and find that perfect opportunity to take out his stock at the correct time.

RETURN TO 1996
DUNEDIN, NEW ZEALAND

It had just turned 9 a.m. and the New Zealand stock market went back into trading. For about an hour to Mastermind's horror, yet again his stock took a dive, and he thought he had chosen the wrong stock.

He was pacing his office when he discovered that his stock had returned to where they had started yet again. So he knew this was the time that the stock was now about to rise, and he had to choose his time carefully.

Around lunch time, 2 hours after his stock had stabilized thus beginning an upward trend, Mastermind decided that now was the time to sell.

Maria knocked on the door just as he was putting in instructions to sell his 5 stock options.

"Hi," said Maria

Mastermind looked up "Hey, what a great surprise."

"Dad said you back here busy tearing a hole in his carpet."

Mastermind smiled, he was right, he thought he saw Markus walk past a few times.

"I think I did."

"What are you doing?"

"Selling my stock options."

"So now's the perfect time to sell you reckon?"

"Yes,"

Markus walked into the room.

"I just got the call that you were selling those stock, are you sure you found the right time?"

Mastermind looked at the screen.

"I'm pretty sure,"

"So I gave the go ahead to transfer the money to your account, so it should be coming through any time now. Hey darling how are you?"

"Not too bad, just wanted to see what 'M' was doing for lunch?"

"Did we organize a lunch date time?" Mastermind asked

"No, but I thought, you would be interested in a spontaneity lunch."

Markus smiled "That's my daughter for you, all ways doing things spontaneously."

"Dad," said Maria in protest

"Sorry," Markus laughed again

"So how about it?"

Suddenly Mastermind's computer buzzed.

"That'll be an email informing you of incoming money transfer to your account." said Markus

Mastermind looked at the computer, then at Maria.

"Do you mind if I checked that?"

"It is his first money transfer," replied Markus trying to help the situation

Maria smiled "Sure,"

Mastermind checked another screen "Bloody hell,"

"What?" asked Maria

"All 5 of my original stock that I had just sold have done a 180 and dived again like earlier."

"What does that mean?"

"It means 'M' chose the right time to sell, it'll continue to nose dive back to the original starting point if that's the case."

"Well if that is what happening," smiled Maria "You better check your email."

Mastermind smiled, and went back to his email, and click on it. The dollar amount came up and his eyes went big.

"Bloody oath."

"What?" asked Maria

"How much did you make?" asked Markus

"Am I allowed to say?" asked Mastermind

"Of course you are. You sold your stock."

"According to this I have $500,000 from all 5 stocks that I invested in combined."

"Wow," said Maria "Really."

"And he started with $100,000," said Markus blown away "That's an amazing jump. You have a good eye, not many have that type of technical know how early on. They learn from their mistakes."

"You made $400,000," smiled Maria "Wow."

"I'll be right with you Maria," said Mastermind going into his personal account

"What are you doing?" asked Maria

"Your father said I can choose whenever to pay back the $100,000, I chose now to do so. Is that all right with you Mr. Shaw?"

"Hey it's your money," laughed Markus "I could have waited another few weeks or so. But good for you. You don't need to be owing."

Mastermind sent the money through to Markus's main account, and sent at least $1000 to his own bank account. He then got up.

"Do you mind if I take your daughter out to lunch, my shout.

"No," said Maria "We both pay."

"Are you sure?"

"It's easier that way."

"Fine then, but I did offer."

"Yes you did."

"Well I see you after lunch 'M', and Maria I'll see you later."

Markus gave his daughter a hug and then left the room. Mastermind turned to Maria and smiled. They hugged from the excitement, and then parted before going in to kiss one another.

CURRENT DAY

A HOTEL ROOM IN BOISE, INDIANA

The camera fades in to a hotel room, in Boise, Indiana and it shows Mastermind pacing up and down the room. He knows that the camera is on the XWF Universe.

"First it was Damon Tyler who I won the Television Title from."

Mastermind paced some more.

"Then I defended it John Holiday, the supposed boyfriend of Moxie Monroe. Number 1. "

Mastermind paced around some more.

"Then I defended it John Holiday, the supposed boyfriend of Moxie Monroe. Number 1. "

Mastermind paced around even more.

"Then I defended it at the Survival of the Fittest Pay Per View in a chamber match against Nyx Nepthys, Todd, Moxie Monarch, and Alister Dante. I came second, was supposed to go home with the Hart Champion but that was overturned for me to keep the Television Title, so shit happens, let's continue to move on. That's Number 2.

Mastermind stopped for a second then started pacing again.

"Then I bet Morbid Angel in what was supposed to be a 5 stages of Hell match, I got the first fall, then an earthquake struck, and then we lost Morbid, again shit happens so let's move on. That's number 3."

Mastermind continues pacing.

"Then I met Kid Kool and the Miz in a triple threat match and I won that. That's number 4."

Mastermind stops pacing again, looks at the camera from where he is, and speaks.

"Then I drew in an amazing backwards and forwards match between myself and Donovan Blackwater with the title on the line. A draw is as good as a win. So that's number 5."

Mastermind starts pacing again..

"Then last week I broke down, Broken Oswald Autem Sephtis, and bet him to make it 6 in a row. 6 defenses in the space of 120 days with a couple other non title matches in between for good measure.

"120 days as champion. Television Champion. The question goes out to you Dax Harris, so it really won't surprise many to know the answer. Could you be Television Champion for 120 days? Could you be Television Champion for 100 days? Could you be Television Champion for 50 days? What about being Television Champion for 25 days?"

If Holiday couldn't beat me, if Moxie couldn't stick to the rules, if Morbid Angel couldn't take the first fall, if Kid Kool and the Miz couldn't beat me together, if Donovan Blackwater with all due respect to him only drew with me, if Broken Oswald Autem Sephtis couldn't beat me, what MAKES YOU THINK, DAX HARRIS, that you could beat me?"

Mastermind walks over to the table, and picks up the Television Championship. He holds it out so that the camera can see it..

"This is what you covet. This is what I have. I didn't let any of those opponents I've just mention get their hands on it, it means you, Dax Harris won't be getting any of your DNA anywhere near it.

"Try if you want to. At the end of the day, it will be me walking away STILL TELEVISION CHAMPION. Then all you can do, is go to the back of the line.

"See you in the ring Dax."

Mastermind looks at the Television Championship and starts laughing and walks away as the camera fades out..
