The scene opens... the City of Brooklyn being the location
Brooklyn, one of New York City’s 5 boroughs, sits on the western end of Long Island. The iconic Brooklyn Bridge, built in 1883, connects it to Manhattan. Neighborhoods range from high-end DUMBO (between Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges); Williamsburg, a hotbed of indie music, art and nightlife; to beachfront Coney Island and its amusement parks. Leafy, row house–filled districts include Brooklyn Heights and Park Slope.

We Find Rosalina atop A famous Brooklyn landmark known as Girls High School.
and from here we find Rosalina overlooking the city on her day off from its roof. According to the New York Times, in 1895, it was "the ambition of every Brooklyn girl... to enter the Girls' High School where she may enjoy the advantages of an advanced education and be prepared for college."

What exactly it is she is staring alongside her Luma is unkown but we are able to understand their conversation.

Rosalina:I Have always wondered for myself what it would be like to enjoy the life of a girl going to school my little Luma.

I bet it was probably a nice experience getting to learn about the real world around us and learning subjects such as Math, Science, Geography, History, Government?"

The little luma chirps in agreement happily.

"I imagine also it was a tough experience no matter which grade you were in.
But I think also little one that we can both agree which grade my opponent Kim Anderson obviously came from." to which again the Luma chirps apparently knowing where it's mama is getting at as the bell rings and below the pair entering the school are all the students. all of course female as this is Girls High School.

as I said to my little Luma here I think it should be more than obvious that compared to me your education level is likely nothing higher than a pre-kindergartener.
