One flick

That is all it takes.

Disorder can actually be created by order, ying and yang. One flick can send what you think is safe and secure crashing through the barrier of mayhem and terror.

Dystopian theories all mowed down in a straight line by a single sliver of revolution against a tyrannical subject of power.

How easily they fall.

It barely takes any contact.

But what comes at the end of the line, when all the dominoes reach their destinations?

---Chris sat at an outdoor table at a cafe in Universal Studios. He liked the weather here. It reminded him of Tampa, but it wasn't so goddamn humid. He had a water with him, Evian of course. He ran a single domino back and forth through his fingers. Staring at it he began to think about his future in the XWF. His future in the Universal Title hunt. His future with Jenny. The Kings were in power now. The Kings and Chaos didn't exactly see eye to eye.

Theo knew exactly what he was doing. UNIVERSAL STUDIOS. UNIVERSAL TITLE. It was a mind game. He knew Chris would be the white knight to ride in with his sword and cut the King's head off with one fell swoop.

But did he have to be so blatantly cruel? Every time Chris came to work now that word would torture him.

UNIVERSAL.

Standing the dominoe up on the table, he looked at it. One side said XWF.

One side said CHAOS.

Teetering like a seesaw on a playground, his mind jumped back and forth. These next few weeks would decide a lot of things for the future. He told Vinnie he is Team Lane, but is he really ready to jump back into an alliance? He has spent all this time being team this and team that, but never enough time being Team Chaos. With the Kings running the show, he didn't know if he could continue on with the way things were. He had to make a decision.

He had to be all in.

He had to leave it up to fate.

He flicked the domino and watched with hi eyes as it fell. It bounced on the cement below and began to bounce and spin on the ground,
XWF and CHAOS both swirling like a vortex........

When the domino falls..........

"Bravo to the booking department in XWF. Bravo. They obviously know how to make good television. They obviously want to tear the house down. Jenny is going to be the next TV champ and Jim and I get to go up against two other men on this roster who want a piece of us just as bad as we want a piece of them. Two men who have just as much riding on this as we do. James Raven needs to prove he is a worthy number one contender to---sorry Jim--but MY belt. And Doc, well he needs to continue to show the world that his sell out routine isn't just a passing fad. Jim Caedus and I have a rivalry at the moment that is primetime, Hollywood, the big leagues. We have been at each others throats for some time, and even worse since he won that title. He knows how much it means to me, and I know how much it means to him. But this week, it's bigger than that. This week, we need to put our rivalry aside and find a way to co exist. This week, this promo, isn't about Jim Caedus. This week, it is about slaying legends and showing the world that the new generation is here to stay.

Doc and I--we've been around the block. Many people could say that I became what I became because of my win over him back in October. But since then, he has seemingly had my number. Look at where he is now. He is part of the new power scheme in XWF. He is a "King", for lack of a better word. He has surrounded himself with a bunch of goons who throw their money around and think that makes them look like they are supposed to be important. If Vinnie could have relied on these washed up vets to carry the load at High Stakes, Doc would be out on his all powerful ass--fighting dark matches and carrying Brian Harris's bags out of the arena for him. Strength in numbers has worked wonders for him. But what is Doc without his cronies recently? I am not even sure Doc knows who he is. He is so wrapped up in this new found "good guy" role, that he is beginning to forget what made him who he is. When I first got here, Doctor D'ville was already larger than life. He was already a legend, a no doubt hall-of-famer. Doc was idolized, looked up to, but was also feared. You didn't enter the Doctor's office without paying the consequences. He was a member of the team Doctor Satan, and they were the most ruthless and heartless team arguably ever in XWF. Forget what Caedus said last week, I think Doctor Satan was the perfect name. It is truly what they were----to a T.

But what is he now? He sure isn't Doctor Satan, hell, he's barely Doctor. When I first walked into this company I had nothing but the clothes on my back. The first thing I asked when I came here was "who is the top guy on this roster? Who would I have to beat to get to the top" and do you know what every single XWF affiliated person told me? Dr. D'ville. Every single one. So I began watching, studying, obsessing over the Doctor. So you can only imagine what I felt when I was told that HE was the one I would have to go through to get to where I wanted to go. The ruthless heel that was vicious and uncaring....the man who hurt because he liked to hurt.......

This isn't the man I see now. This wasn't the man who got his dick kicked in by James Raven. This wasn't the man that pals around with a man-child and makes corny jokes and stupid puns. This was a man I looked up to, idolized, and wanted to be just like. No matter how big I got I just hoped I could be as known and revered as the Doctor was. Now, I want to puke when I think of the Good Doctor. Because that is exactly what he is, a "Good" Doctor. It makes me sick to think how a man who made an entire career around being a creature from your worst nightmares could be packaged in a suit and sent out to live the corporate life. It has to be a lie. Doc can't be the man we see. So when Jim Caedus and I team up, the Doctor is going to show exactly what his true colors are. You see, Jim and I, we don't have much in common but one thing we do have in common--we don't back down to anyone. We break the rules, the push the limits, and we create..............chaos. So Doc is going to have to "break character" if he wants to win this little match. He is going to need to channel that inner Doc. That Doc that the Kings didn't accept before because he didn't fit their mold. The same Kings that had a chance to bring him into their group before but passed him by like a beggar at a red light. Doc is going to have to be the Doc I knew and idolized because if he isn't---if that Doc is truly dead---then maybe all hope for professional wrestling an its advancement is truly gone. The XWF is becoming Wall Street, and I know why Vinnie is fighting so hard to prevent it.

Even in our previous match, where Doc came out on top, it didn't feel like Doc the first time. I was in a bad spot, I was vulnerable. The old Doc would have feasted off that. Our match was a classic, but the old Doc would have hurt me. He would have taken me out. I was in a bad spot. When he hit Lobotomy in the center of the ring, he could have, should have, and WOULD have done more. I was a problem. Jenny and I have been a thorn in the side of his little "stable". The old Doc would have taken action. He would have nipped this problem in the bud. But now, he has an even bigger one. You see, that match was back and forth, up and down. We both kicked out of finishers, we pushed each other to the limit. But there was something in his eyes. He knows that this isn't him, but the human attraction to material needs has given him the illusion of success. He is number one in the power rankings, has rich and powerful friends, is aligned with the current "owners" of the company, has "power", "influence" and "clout". But what Doc doesn't have is a chance for the richest prize in the game. His tag partner is the number one contender, Jim Caedus is the champion, and I am right on Jimmy's heels. When is the last time Doc had a shot at the Universal Championship? Numbers don't always matter, Doc. You can be at the top of all the lists you want, but what are you actually worth? You're just taking up space. For the first time in your career, you're just a face in the crowd.........

James Raven and I have never had the pleasure of crossing paths, but as far as I am concerned as long as he in the Universal Title hunt, he is in MY way.

As far as I am concerned, he is just another target. Sure, from an ego standpoint, I'd love to be the one to take that title off of Jim. But right now, I have to choke down that pride and realize that there is a very real chance I may be taking it off of Mr. Raven himself. James, the new age is upon us. This roster is perhaps the best it has ever been. These aren't the same days as they were when you coasted through back when you were kicking the shit out of Barney Green on a nightly basis......this is a roster has talent from top to bottom. It goes to show you that numbers, rankings, they don't matter. If they did, wouldn't the Universal Champion be a the top? Don't you think it is a bit weird that Theo Pryce and John Samuels are on that list? They are there because of their name, and their name alone. They are on that list because they could snap their fingers and strip Jim of that title tomorrow, placing it on one of their shoulders but they won't do that because they have the reputation of being the "good guys" to uphold. Instead they go the politics rout. They have a lot more working behind the scenes than we know, and when they do speak publicly it is patronizing garbage.

This isn't the same roster as when were last here, where champions earned their shots and the hardest working get paid off. The damn Universal Champion stole the belt off a beaten man, and you had to win a battle royal. That is how things work around here now. Things aren't the same and......well....Doc isn't the same. Two old rivals who have taken more pounds of flesh from each other than a butcher shop in Manhattan, have to team up and get beat by two men who have filled out the footsteps you both created. XWF is OUR company now....the question is, can you put your differences aside for one match to show that old school still rules? Will we put ours aside to show that professional wrestling is set for the future.........

..............probably not, and that is the beauty of it.

When Caedus and I step into the ring, all hell with break loose. If Theo wants to give Doc his balls back for one night, maybe you have a chance. But that won't happen, because Doc has been effectively neutered like a house broken dog. It doesn't matter which Raven shows up.......because when a tornado and a volcano come together for ONE NIGHT ONLY and form a perfect storm, even the biggest wings in the world can't fly you away from the chaos.Jim Caedus wants to kick your head in to prove he is still the dominant species around here---even though I am not sure exactly what species that is. Doc wants to beat your ass for taking that number one contender spot from him and what you did to him last week, and I want to beat your ass because....well....I just flat out don't like you. No matter which James Raven shows up.........that James Raven is fucked.....

Two legends, beaten down and left in the middle of the ring by two trailblazers of the modern era.........

Oh, how the dominoes have fallen."
