WRESTLER'S STATS
In-Ring Name: Vlad Vasquez
Wrestler's Real Name: CLASSIFIED
New to XWF or a returning roster member?: New.
Wrestler Date of Birth: CLASSIFIED
Height: 6'4
Weight: 257 lbs
Hometown: Santa Marta, the Republic of Colombia
Personality: Cold, tactical, highly egotistical. Is of the opinion that a place called "X-Treme" is beneath a wrestler of his technical skill. He also takes a great deal of pride in his abilities and accomplishments, and takes it as a personal insult if someone doesn't tap from a hold, or if they kick out of a pin.
Alignment: Heel. Heel heel heel.
Looks Description: Although he is not a bodybuilder, Vlad is a very impressive physical specimen. Mainly muscle, with a small amount of fat. He's a man with hair on his chest, and when you see just how calloused and tough his hands look, you'll see why he likes to chop and slap as much as he does.
He wears a wide variety of different masks, but many follow a black theme with white highlights, either with skull-like designs or simply interesting looking markings. If he's going with a skeletal theme, then he'll go with a full-body tight costume to match, with knee and elbow pads, and glossy black wrestling boots.
His 'main' attire is something he's been wearing recently, however, and that's a rather sparse black mask with white highlights, with no shirt, and a pair of black BDUs or combat pants covering his legs, which are of course tucked into a pair of glossy black wrestling boots. When he enters, he usually enters wearing a black pea coat, unbuttoned. Of course, he takes it off before starting a match.
Ethnicity: Presumably hispanic, but it's hard to tell because of the mask.
Pic Base: Mil Muertes
WRESTLING STYLE
Strengths: Highly technical, incredible natural power, and truly great submission expertise. Vasquez understands the human body and how to disable it. Being a Luchador, speed and agility can be surprising. He's never going to be King of the Cruiserweights, but he can bust out planchas and topes when titles and careers are on the line.
Weaknesses: An eternal cockiness and a raging temper. Vasquez doesn't just 'think' he's better than whoever he may be wrestling, he KNOWS he's better. It's why he'll enjoy demonstrating his superior abilities so early in the match, with headlocks, armdrags, tying the opponent up with their own limbs, etc etc. Making sport of his opponent and showing them a fundamental lack of respect. When they start outwrestling him, or start outfighting him, or otherwise end up getting the better of him somehow? That's when the anger takes over, and that's when you'll start to see more violent maneuvers, more dangerous moves, and more blatant heel tactics. And his penchant for displaying his superior prowess instead of merely ending it immediately, means that he leaves himself open to possible counter attacks.
Entrance Theme Music: Cultura Tres, "Crosses And Lines"
Entrance Description: There isn't too much to say. His music bleeds out over the PA system, and Vlad Vasquez casually strolls out to the ring. He's never in any hurry, and any opportunity to make his opponent wait as long as possible, is an opportunity he's going to take.
Eventually Vasquez makes his way up to the ring apron, where he finally enters through the middle and top ropes and takes off his jacket, tossing it to the outside.
5 or More Commonly Used, Standard Moves:
Armlock
Armdrag
Tiger Spin Drop Toehold
Chops and slaps to the chest(he chops harder than some people punch.)
Vertical Suplex
Rolling Leglock
Flapjack to the ring ropes
Hard back suplex
Shinbreaker
Chopblock
Kicks to the legs
Manhattan Project (A manhattan drop, but before the opponent can fall Vlad leaps up and hits them with a quick enziguri.)
Showoff Combo (A really lazy, falling elbow drop to the back of the head, followed instantly by a quick headlock to that same, facedown opponent. If he wants to really be mean, he'll throw a series of open handed slaps with his left hand, while the opponent is trapped in that headlock.)
Trademark Move(s):
Vasquez Driver (Vlad grabs one of the opponent's legs, and drapes the back of the knee over his own neck. With the opponent balancing on one leg now, Vasquez grabs the waist and shoulder of the opponent and falls backward in a vicious, deadlift back suplex. Because the awkward angle and how the opponent is facing sideways, they land either on the back of their neck and head, or if they don't bend at the right time, they land on the side of their face and neck. Both scenarios are equally bad.)
Colombian Guillotine (A blatantly illegal submission hold, Vasquez entangles the opponent in the ring ropes so that their backs are to the audience, while Vlad simply pulls their throats down across the top rope for as long as he can. When the referee counts to "4", Vlad hits a leaping knee to the opponent's face at the same time as he lets go. As you might imagine, with them balanced precariously along the ropes as they are, the opponent usually ends up falling right out of the ring, or even ends up getting tied up even further. You'd best believe he's going to take advantage of that situation.)
Finishing Move:
Five Courts And Six Trials (To be as concise as possible, it's a Texas Cloverleaf, a Camel Clutch and a Crippler Crossface all combined into one monstrous, impossibly cruel move. Vasquez is intentionally contorting and twisting the spine to do damage, even while he's forcing the leg muscles into a position that will(hopefully) cause them to cramp and seize up in the worst possible way. As you might imagine, most people tap to this.)
Shining Wizard (If for some reason his signature submission is not a viable move, then he hits this. Except, the twist is that he hits this from either the second turnbuckle, or he rebounds off the ropes and does this to an unsuspecting sap. Nothing like a surprise, out of nowhere knockout blow to finish a match.)
Favorite Hardcore Attacks: Old fashioned piledrivers, any kind of big time splash move from the top rope, and the ever-classic ringpost-assisted Figure-4 Leglock.
Additional notes: Vlad Vasquez is not a very nice person. What is your favorite ice-cream flavor? He most likely does not care for it. Do you have a favorite car, or movie, or ex-wife? Vasquez does not like them, either.
