I don't know what I am doing back but that's okay. I am done wasting time by losing to people that I know I can beat. I have traveled down that miserable road by myself. I am who I am.

I was born to entertain the fans and I have just done that with my skills and style of wrestling. Age may be catching up to me but I know what I am capable of doing. All those sleepless nights training after matches until three, four, in the morning. Going to bed for about four hours in some random rundown motel. Getting up and catching that next flight out of town after doing even more training.

I credit Foley Anderson and may he rest in peace for all he has done for me. The guy was the father I wanted and never truly had. I was ignored by my parents and left to rot. It was always about my brother, Robert. The big football star which left a bit of a chip on my shoulder. I may not be as tall as he is but who was more successful in the grand scheme of things. I have been a millionaire and watched it all fade away.

There were only two people that helped me when I lost everything and I never forgot that. Foley and Jeff Night. Jeff is a real jam up guy and I will always have his back no matter what. I am loyal to people I deem worthy.

Another person who has helped me get ready for this return has been John Laurinaitis. John has spent countless hours helping me train against some of the new recruits at People Power Academy in Boston which I co-own and help train the future stars. I am not always there but I try to be there at least three days a week which is good considering the school is open four days a week. I even pay tribute to him with one of my finishing moves being the move he made famous in his heyday.

I have been to the top of that mountain before against the odds. The hair on my neck stands up straight because of the nervousness I feel. I still get chills before I come out to the ring and hear my music play. Against every obstacle they have thrown my way, I have managed to last. Thirty-two years old and people doubt I can still go. I will prove everybody wrong. I am gonna go Dwayne Roloson on them. Age is only a number.

Here I go yet again. Entering my old stomping grounds of Las Vegas. Wrestling in the XWF. One of only two places that I will step into the ring for. I am at that point in my career where I don't want to wrestle anywhere else but here and one other place that I won't mention. Jose Gomez may be the future but he is gonna see the past wreck him. I may not be the future or even the present but you can never count me out. I will go balls to the wall like I always have in the ring. You gotta have no fear because if you show any hint of fear, They will destroy you. Adam Wednesday may be a former rock star but I have lived the life of a party animal myself. You couldn't even keep up with me in an Absinthe Drinking Contest so don't even try to get in my way. Later, XWF.

The scene opens up inside of a local news station where we see a news anchor, dressed in a grey suit with red tie. The news anchor goes to speak.

Anchor: Welcome to Eyewitness News on WPRI 12, I am Tim White and we got a special guest in the studio today. A Boston Legend, Barney Green.

Barney Green walks onto the set dressed in a orange and green plaid striped jacket with orange pants, green tie and black shoes.

Tim: Welcome to the studio, Barney Green.

Barney: Pleasure to be here, Tim. I have enjoyed wrestling in this state as well. Rhode Island is like a second home to me.

Barney pauses as Tim goes to speak.

Tim: Are the rumors true about you coming back to XWF?

Barney: Yeah. I figured it was time I give it my all for one last run before I sail off into the sunset.

Tim: Interesting. Looking at your background, You have wrestled a lot of crazy matches involving weapons. Any advice you can give to kids wanting to be wrestlers?

Tim pauses as Barney goes to speak.

Barney: Certainly, Tim. Train hard. I know I don't look like it but you gotta be able to go the distance in the ring so focus on your cardio and then strength. Please don't hit each other with weapons. You don't need to do that. I did that to get noticed because I am not a special wrestler. I look like the fan off the streets. I just had the drive and desire to prove everybody wrong that the fat guy can make it. You just gotta be willing to put the time and effort into it. Its better to try and fail than not to try at all. At least if you fail, You can say you gave your all.

Barney pauses as Tim goes to speak.

Tim: Some wise words there. So, Where are you gonna be wrestling.

Barney: In my old stomping grounds of Las Vegas on Saturday at Savage Saturday Night for the X-Treme Wrestling Federation.

Tim: How have you prepared for this match?

Barney: Watching tapes of my opponents because I am in a triple threat match which is more difficult and training at my school with John Laurinaitis.

Tim: How did you and John Laurinaitis meet?

Barney: I was at a show and I pulled off his finishing move which he saw and he confronted me about it. It wasn't a bad confrontation. He was just honored to see me using his move and he has become one of my closest friends in this business. Its a hard business when it comes to gaining friends because it is a dog eat dog world and you gotta be able to deal with people trying to back stab you to get what they want.

Tim: Sounds like a rough business. Why would you apart of something with sharks like that running around.

Barney: The fans make it worthwhile in the end and the fact that most people consider me a locker room leader and tend to respect me. Adam Wednesday and Jose Gomez are getting some on the job training on Savage though because I am one tough customer.

Tim: What kind of injuries have you sustained?

Barney: I have had five concussions. I have torn my right lateral meniscus which you can work through as long as you wear a sleeve and are careful. I am working through a blown out right knee. I heard it pop in the ring one night and now its sore nonstop. I separated my right shoulder once. Dislocated my left shoulder. Fractured my left ankle.

Tim: Sounds painful. How do you keep going?

Barney: The fans motivate me to keep going and I have a high pain tolerance. I knew what I was getting into. You can be safe in the ring. I just chose to wrestle a lot of dangerous matches with consequences that I am paying the price for.

Tim: Any last words?

Barney: Stay in school and get an education. It takes a certain kind of individual to make it in this business. You want to have a degree or even a trade to fall back on in case you don't make it. I used to produce and edit films. I made it because I was willing to make sacrifices like be out on the road three hundred plus days of the year. Even though I am apart of the XWF right now, I am not signed to a written contract. Its a verbal deal which is what I like at this stage in my career. It benefits the both of us. They can stop using me at any time and I can decide to terminate the agreement.

Tim: Thank you for your time, Barney. We will be rooting for you to win. Now, Let's take a look at the weather.

The scene fades to black.
