ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE!
Saturday 21st May
Las Vegas
The scene fades in from darkness and straight into the hallway of the Savage Saturday Night arena in Las Vegas. Silence sits in the air as most people have already left after yet another successful night of action, another show wrapped up. That silence is broken however as a door swings open and out into the corridor steps Kristen Silver, a new outfit on after getting changed after her match with Travis McCoy. Kristen's mood doesn't look too different to how it has done for the past few weeks, a rather tired and annoyed look rather than her usual upbeat "look at me" look.
It's only a matter of steps before Kristen's peace and quiet is interruped though, her thoughts suddenly brought to a halt as out of nowhere comes Steve Sayors, microphone already in hand, cameraman already in toe. Steve looks on, his usual nervous energy as he approaches Kristen.
Sayors: Kristen, if we could just get a word from you on what happened out there tonight...
Kristen looks on rather reluctantly at first and before she can answer, Sayors is back to the questioning.
Sayors: Tonight you went out there and once again put your Green High Stakes chip on the line against somebody that has been receiving headline after headline since arriving here, Travis McCoy.
Still Kristen looks on, not a word spoken as of yet, Sayors deciding to continue on.
Sayors: Prior to tonight there's been some question marks over yourself, rumours floating around that you're struggling with the pressure. I can't help but notice that your assistant, Erin Williams, isn't with you right now either,. Is...
This time it's Kristen doing the cutting off as she stops Sayors in his tracks, clearly annoyed at this point by something he said.
Kristen: Where's Erin? I don't know Steve, why don't you go and find her and ask her? Is she more important than me, Steve? I just went out there and did what I do best and you ask me where my assistant is? This is the type of disrespectful, tiresome CRAP that I'm talking about. In fact...
Her annoyance levels shooting even higher, Kristen snatches the microphone out of the hands of Steve Sayors, almost staring a hole through him at the same time.
Kristen: Give me the damn microphone. I'm sick and tired of this. Did you not see me out there, Steve? LOOK AT ME STEVE! Infact *Kristen now looks into the camera* All of you watching, LOOK AT ME. Do I need to keep reminding you all who I am? DO I STEVE? I'm Kristen Silver, I deserve better than this. Did you see what I did out there tonight, did you? For months I've been hearing about this great person, the star of the show, the man taking the business by storm. Guess what, Steve? Guess what everybody at home? I just went out there AND I BEAT HIM! WAS YOU WATCHING OUT THERE STEVE, I BEAT HIM!
A frustrated and angry Kristen's body language continues to become more and more aggressive towards Sayors as he almost takes a step back, slightly taken aback.
Kristen: I did what nobody else seemed to be able to do and I did it with ease. Yet where's my congratulations? Where's my celebrations? WHERE'S MY HEADLINES, STEVE?
Again Kristen takes a step forward, holding on for a second for a response to her question before breaking back into her angered rant.
Kristen: Still you all overlook me. Still you continue to ignore my accomplishments. Still you refuse to gives me the love and respect I deserve. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, STEVE. It's time for a change. I'm not taking the orders now, I'm giving them. I told you I wanted all of the chips. Every single one of them. I get what I want, Steve. So next week, I'm not asking, I'm taking. I quite like the colour blue, Steve. Do you like the colour blue?
Steve: It's...
Before he can answer, Kristen quickly cuts him off.
Kristen: I don't give a damn if you like blue, Steve. Next week, I walk in with my green chip and I walk out with a blue chip on top. No more asking, I'm taking what I want. And then you'll have no choice but to love me. You'll have no choice but to care/ You will care, Steve. *looking down the camera lens* You'll all care.
Kristen shoves the microphone deep into the chest of a completely rattled Steve Sayors, a mixed look on her face of frustration, anger and almost sadness. With nothing more to say, Kristen turns her back on the camera and Steve, marching her way off down the corridor as the scene fades out.
I'm Taking What I Want
And There's Not A Damn Thing Any Of You Can Do About It
