The sunlight comes through the shades of the window onto the face of LH Harrison. He yawns and gets out of bed. Today is the one day he allows himself to 'sleep in' before he gets back to training for his next match. He leaves the bedroom and walks into the other bedroom where Viktor is snoring. LH lets him sleep as he leaves out and sticks the keys in the ignition of his truck. He turns the key and the truck makes a screeching noise. LH looks at it and tries again. The truck makes the same noise. LH shakes his head. He pulls out his phone and finds the contact listed as 'Dad.' He hits the send button.

... Hey Dad. My truck isn't starting. Mind coming over and taking a look at it?

LH hangs up the phone and goes and leans against the front of the house. He looks up and clears his throat.

Next week, I enter Monday Night Madness to take on a totally new opponent to me. His name is Spike Hannigan. He's... not really that impressive. Sorry Spike. You want to hang in that ring with me? You better shape up or else this will be the easiest win of my career. You can take it easy on a guy like Scully all you want, but if you take it easy with me... there's no guaranteeing you come out of this match without a concussion. I'm on a hot streak and you're just going to be a stepping stone on this trip to the top of the XWF. You better take this advice and not be recalcitrant and try to take the easy way out. Because there's no easy way to get by me.

Just as he says that a large truck pulls up. It's Arkansas. Everyone has pick-up trucks. His dad gets out of his truck and walks up.

Hey son.

He's dressed up in a black suit with a tie. His hair is combed over to one side and his normal beard is trimmed to perfection. The image makes LH cock an eyebrow in response to seeing. His dad looks down at his clothes and smiles faintly at LH.

Sorry you caught me right before I was about to leave to go see your mom.

LH frowns and looks at his truck. He hadn't even visited his mother's grave, but admittedly he didn't want to. He felt guilty. It was his fault that his mother was dead, wasn't it? He shook his head, but he couldn't shake the thought of his mother falling to the floor. Never to rise again. He couldn't get it out of his head. He looks back at his dad and gives him a quick smile.

Oh... that's cool. Think you could take a look at ol' Red over there?

His dad goes over to ol' Red and looks under the hood. He checks a few things and then steps away. He shakes his head.

Unfortunately, I think the engine finally went out. I'd have to run some diagnostics, but I can almost guarantee that's what happened.

LH rubs the back of his neck. Just his luck. He thinks about how much money he had saved up and thinks he should be able to get a new car if that's what it takes. He was planning on saving a lot of that for the girls' college fund, but he wouldn't be able to add to that if he can't get to the events.

Can you take me to go get a new car? I have the money, but, as you can see, I'm rather car-less.

LH laughs slightly. His dad meets his gaze and smiles slightly but nods.

Of course son, but will you come with me to the grave site before we go?

LH was afraid that would happen. He sighs and thinks it's about time he went to the grave. He looks at his dad and nods. They jump in Mr. Davis' truck and begin driving down the road. They go across town and find the cemetery. His dad parks the truck and gets out. He steps ahead toward the graveyard. LH tries to move but his legs feel like they're cement gluing him to the ground. He looks ahead and slowly, painfully takes that first step.
