Joey Styles: It looks like all those fighting games are really paying off for Cage.

Cage kips up right into a ROLLING Future Lariat from Tri Bute, but he doesn’t go for the future pin there; Tri Bute future ascends the top rope and future leaps off.

Joey Styles: Cage rolled right out of the way!

Tri Bute To The Doomed future backfires as Bute crashes into the mat. Tri Bute is slow to get to his future feet as Cage bounces off the ropes and rams his fist into Bute’s future face.

Joey Styles: He…DOES THOSE INSTEAD OF CLOSELINES!

Tri Bute’s future head rebounds off of the ropes, but Cage catches him with a Double Underhook before his future face hits the present mat.

Joey Styles: Could this be the fabled White Lightning Strike!? He put away Steve Davids with this earlier this month!

However Tri Bute didn’t have sagging (future) breasts holding him down, allowing him to easily slip out of the Double Underhook and land a Future DDT! Right into a future pin!

Joey Styles: I really thought Tri Bute had the five there! SO CLOSE!

The 8000 time future king is initially frustrated but quickly changes gears taking this moment to size up the downed Xtreme Champion. Bute future closes in on Cage! He future grabs his future neck! Marshall Cage bats his future hand away AND ACTIVATES HIS FINAL SMASH!

Marshall is glowing red as he backflips out of the ring and catches a fight stick in mid-air. His fingers fly across the controller at rapid rates; the fight stick is pretty much invisible hidden behind the blur of his furiously moving hands. Tri Bute is future dumbfounded and doesn’t even notice an Italian plumber jumping from the top rope and Goomba Stomping him! Bute drops to his future knees as he holds the back of his future head in pain. A man in black armor rolls into the ring carrying a sword larger and taller than most men! With a quick spin the black knight struck the man of the future knocking him into the turnbuckle!

Marshall smirks from behind the controller as a GIANT HAND grabs Tri Bute! It’s white-gloved fingers squeeze Tri Bute and his future face begins to redden. Tri Bute’s battle for fresh air doesn’t last long as the giant hand…..

SLAMS TRI BUTE THROUGH THE CENTER OF THE RING!

Joey Styles: OH MY GAWD!

Marshall Cage tosses the fight stick to a kid at ringside, since he has plenty at home, and rolls into the ring. The Earth Realm dweller reaches into the future-man-sized hole in the center of the ring and pulls out Tri Bute by his future arm, wasting no time he pins the Trios Tag Champion.

Joey Styles: HE FUTURE KICKED OUT AT 1!!

Marshall stares at the referee in shock, it’s not possible!

Marshall Cage: That had to have been at least 2!?

The referee, however, was firm with his decision! Cage turns to Tri Bute and immediately eats a future boot! The impact causes Marshall to flip over backwards and somehow land on his feet, though with some teetering. He isn’t able to regain his balance in time as Tri Bute ROLLS and future plants his future hand across Cage’s present throat. Bute hoists Marshall into the air and slams him into the mat!

Joey Styles: ROLLING Torrential Tri Bute!

The referee hands Tri Bute both of his championships as Marshall rubs his neck in pain on the mat. The Italian Plumber and The Black Knight that showed up during Cage’s final smash help Marshall to his feet before shaking present and future hands with Tri Bute.

Cage ignores Bute’s extended future hand and exits the ring downtrodden and upset.


The scene froze as Marshall Cage stood with his back to the camera; the color scheme shifted to black and white.

“The next morning Cage was found in his apartment by Christie; his neck wrapped with the cord of a PS2 controller that was tangled in his ceiling fan. It was the first of twenty-seven failed suicide attempts.”

“Soul Calibur VI was the highest grossing video game of 2014.”

“Nintendo filed for bankruptcy on September 13th 2014.”

“Tri Bute held on to the XWF Trio Tag Championship for the rest of the year, but lost the XWF Xtreme Championship within six weeks. He managed to finish the year with a winning record, but without the Xtreme Title Briefcase.”

Tri Bute presses the 'Eject' button on his present DVD player as the scene fades to black.
