"Where is everyone?"
It was a thought that plagued my mind for months. I had led The Academi to greatness and fucked with Wallace Witasick regarding his long lost daughter. That damn Eli James the Fourth changed everything. He conjured up this whole plan and , while I was a bit skeptical, he lured everyone in on it. Lacey Witasick, aka Lacey Rex. My best friend, Sal. Vitor. Even the damn orphans I tried to help. Eli ended up rebuilding the whole orphanage and winning the hearts of many in that town. Then what happens? I'm captured like an evil prisoner. After I help Eli win the tag team titles, I get placed in the darkest place I've ever been. And I've been to some dark places in this world, much of what I'd like to forget.
This man who represents the light isn't fooling everyone. Hell, hardly anyone in the company believe his words. Mystica? No, I doubt he really takes to heart what Eli preaches. He's a loyal friend, and I think Eli knows that. They do work well together, but Mystica didn't help him against the Black Circle like I did, did he? He stood by and watched the man who helped him, and stuck by his side, get bloodied.
I tend to think Mystica enjoyed watching the Black Circle hurt Eli. Both his pride and his physicality. They destroyed the man after he did a lot for them. LJ, Amos, and myself did what we could to help Eli. They drugged him and forced him to have sex with prostitutes. Prostitutes! And many of them. They forced his nose into cocaine. They made Eli bleed. We watched in pain ourselves, but Mystica... not him. He watched in the corner. I'm not sure he's the person he was when he first aligned himself with Eli. Something has changed. The Black Circle has gotten to him and it's a matter of time before we all see it come to past.
LJ, Amos, and I wanted to go teach Mystica a lesson about loyalty. Eli simply told us no, and that Mystica did what he had to do and the truth will show itself out. Eli has hopes that Mystica will completely align himself back to the Congregation and Eli's side. I think me, LJ, and Amos know Eli's hope in that is false. Mystica will leave us.
I hope he doesn't. I like Mystica. But he's fallen into the Black Circle's hand. He's Luca's replacement. We must let Eli have his hope, but it will be revealed soon.
Before Warfare... I sat here. In my darkened cave. Deep inside the heart of the Promise Land. Eli came to me, like he saw this betrayal of the Circle coming, and told me to move my home somewhere away from the Promise Land. He told me to go back to the Village. That fucked up place where Eric Rex died and Elisha was born. Since I've been alone for several months and away from any of Eli's words, I started to think more clearly than usual. My language had become better once again, with an occasional stutter. My mommy doll, Lacey, still spoke to me at times. The physical girl I once saw as my daughter, but now the mother to the monster, has yet to visit me since that one day. Many months ago.
Now that Eli is making me leave this place and go back to the dark place of the damned.. The Village.. then maybe I'll see her again soon. It's hard to carry a conversation by yourself.
The lifeless trees at the always seemingly dark place Eli has referred to as The Village. The sun never seems to shine around here, nor does the temperature ever rise above the 40s. Everything is either completely dry and danger of a fire, or it's all damp and muddy. The wind is usually at a steady pace but it's never calm. Must we never forget the screams that are haunting the entire place from the strange barn far off and the people are blank-faced. Zombies would be a better word to describe them.
I remember this place all too well. I wish I could forget it. The cold chills I get from just thinking about the place are not normal. My entire body shakes as if I were full of hate and fear at the same time. Why does Eli want me back here?
No one talks. No one. Not a whisper, no conversation, not even a noise if someone were to hit their finger with a hammer. They are completely numb to anything and everything, except for whomever is in the God forsaken barn. I remember being in there.. doing the screami... I don't want to go back. Eli's plan seems to be best somehow. Where's mommy?
The old rusted red pick up truck arrives with Elisha sitting in the back with a dirty brown coat to keep himself warm. They let him out to wander around the Village since the last time he were there.. he spent all his time in the barn. The truck driver informs Elisha that they'll be back to get him for Warfare when he faces two members of the Congregation. Mystica, the loyal one with Eli and the newest member.. LJ Havok who has refused to really share any negative thoughts regarding the Congregation.
This mask isn't working any longer. I want to be free, if only for a few moments of time I'm here.
Elisha removes his old red mask and throws it off into the woods. It's the first time he's been without a mask in a long while. He starts to feel his face. The scars. The dirt. The dried blood from the animals he's eat and matches he had been in. His hair has grown out and his hair is long and dirty. Dirt has cluttered underneath his nails.
ELISHA
"Mmmmmm.
I smell the blood all around. It smells so good. It's been a few days since I've had a nice meal. Eli told me the animals may have more of a wild game taste here. I smell it. I can taste it already. It's hunting time.
After only a few hours of hunting, Elisha is full. His hunger pains has disappeared after eating an entire deer. Raw.
ELISHA
"I... see.... you. Heh-heh-heh. I.. hear.... you. Heh-Heh-Heh. Why does the loyal one, O Mee-sti-ca, speak such harsh words towards I? Heh-heh. My heart is cold. My mind is in a dark home where the horses ride free. Heh-heh. You take me lightly, but why, friend? We spent time together. We stood by Eli's side together. I ended Death Merchant. I did more than I was asked, dear friend. So why the words of a enemy?
Eli won't ask, but I will. Heh-heh. I will.
Eli was beating up A-A-Alexandra Callaway, then you came in to try and stop the destruction. You did. Eli saw fit to nail both your hands together, and he warned you about her. But, he let you do as you pleased because he likes you, O Mee-sti-ca.
He gave you much, and you try to stop what he wants to accomplish.
Just a f-f-few days a-a-ago. Daysdaysdays. Just a few days ago, you sat back and watched Eli be humiliated and beaten down by the Black Circle. Forget me, Amos, and Havok. You may not like us. Eli? You could have helped him but you chose to watch. You are no loyal friend. You are a betrayer. So why not just confess it to Eli? Don't let him have this false h-h-h-hope. Just. Be. Honest.
And you, LJ Havok. Welcome to our little world. We shall have fun in our match coming up. Though we are indeed a family, I do hope you won't let up the fight. I enjoy blood and pain very much. I'm looking forward to it. Heh-heh-heh.
Don't worry Black Circle. Your time will come. Count on it. Heh-heh.
"How often we choose a destiny
For riches, that we never obtain
It melts in our hands
Or causes us to go insane
Because we give up a second
We're seen as a loyal trust
Yet, time continues to move
And it reveals our dark lust
A sacrifice, one must become
In order for the message to be told"
I see you all very soon. Heh-Heh.
