We Are One

Continued from Super Squad R5 vs Hyper-Squatch by Dr. Zero, found here.
The unexpected communication from Nurse X had me curious... was this another trap? Was this even coming from the real Dr. Zero or Nurse X for that matter? My caution was more than enough to arm myself with as I would march forward into the unknown and find out. I've been sent an array of details by Nurse X but what intrigues me most is who Dr. Zero has found himself in an altercation with — Super Squad R5. While I have never encountered them first hand, my files contain enough information about them to properly prepare me for their obliteration. By the time they manage to agree on who will form the head end and who will form the ass end of their enormous humanoid robot, their disgraceful descent will already be written in stone.

When Dr. Zero and I won the Lethal Lottery tournament, we split that metal briefcase in two. When we merge our halves in the heat of battle, we will become invincible. It's time to show SSR5 what the flawless synchronization of two can do to an entire clan of peevish infidels.

I raise my hand before me as a marvelous transformation occurs; the strands of blackness in my eyes begin swirling vigorously, the wind picks up all around me and starts to fill the air with dust clouds, and a black spot in the sun begins to open wider and wider until a black hole fills most of the visible sky above. The pure, pitch black voids that have become of my eyes are like staring into two separate universes of poison and decay. My body slowly lifts from the ground as my hair blows around in the wind uncontrollably. The black hole slowly swirls, sucking in my entire body and sending me spiraling on an interstellar journey to transformation. My body beams upward at such an intense speed that I actually become an alien element that can best be described to you inferior humans as a type of "liquid laser" — I remain in this state of ethereal super matter for a block of space that cannot be measured in time as you know it, but your minds would perceive it as being a rather long while. The very fabric of all "chance" begins to unravel and the mind finally understands that reality was only 33% of a set of ingredients you cannot exist without.

My arrival in this elemental form sparks a great disruption in the skies above Dr. Zero and Super Squad R5. A piercing blue hole opens up above them all and a pure red pillar of light blasts down into Dr. Zero's body, completely covering him in this glowing essence of all I ever could have become in all times. Dr. Zero's body joins with the raw power I have become, and in one blinding flash of light we become...

We are now one.

We have always been one.

Our black head needed no debate on who might form it. Our wings of steel cut the sands of time as we soar far and wide, swooping down on every possible reality or nonexistence that contains a hint of SSR5 essence. We know the robotic humanoid form of this squad of five cannot possibly stand up to our onslaught as we drop a pair of bombs right down onto the massive robot form.

A direct hit to each of its legs — the massive robot concoction is as good as a Duke in the land of extreme at this point, toppling over and reaching for anything in sight to grab onto and stop its inevitable crash. The bickering of the insolent fools can be heard even still as we change from our bird of prey form into a robot form of our own.

A golden sword descends from the now flaming black hole above us and a huge gun flies into our other hand. We raise our sword high and stand over the SSR5 robot, slashing relentlessly and dismembering the gigantic abomination. The members of SSR5 are forced to disperse in different directions as we take aim with our gun, starting with Ethan (the effeminate one in turquoise) and quickly taking down all five members in a matter of seconds. We raise our sword high and a blue flame shoots down from the sky, surging into the blade and through our robot body.

The split\split.

I go about my business far, far away as Dr. Zero now stands tall over his attackers. Smoke rises up as he walks over to Jackson, the supposed leader of this so-called super squad. I've played my roll in this battle that will see Dr. Zero's victory... and the charred remains of Mystica and Sebastian Duke serve as the proof. What a pity that it never mattered who Duke ended up getting in his corner; he never stood a chance with me in Dr. Zero's corner. At least Mystica had Eli James IV in his corner for this battle — another man who has already claimed a loss from me, but then again... who hasn't by now? Eli was of little importance in this particular chapter in history, but Mystica is certainly worth a second look...

In fact, that second look is required in Mystica's case. "Oh, Mystica," I say while looking into the camera as if it startled me. "I almost didn't see you there." An uncharacteristically lighthearted giggle accompanies my words as I continue to address the man I've almost been forgetting since the day I learned of him. "Where to even begin when it comes to Mystica? He is without a doubt the paradigm for inadequacy's Earthly embodiment; the ultimate example of a living, breathing vessel packed to the brim with garbage DNA." I hold in some additional thoughts on that — oh, if only you all knew just how far beyond garbage DNA his flaws really go... but I'm here to address the eloquently costumed ninny directly. "Yes, Mystica, I know you've been waiting for your chance to retaliate and you've been patient all these months. Yes, Mystica, I do believe you and I have covered it all before... just as you said yesterday."

"Do you recall our first encounter as fondly as I? You speak as though you're a source of fact regarding history; you seek to educate me on pharaohs and question my unparalleled brand of royalty, informing me of murders that may have taken place many thousands of years ago—but can you educate me about who murdered you just a couple months ago? How adept is your knowledge of the only history you actually share with me, oh mysterious foreign being of a lower frequency?"
I shake my head, sneering in absolute revulsion at the ignorance fueling Mystica's attempt to belittle me verbally. He is going to give me a history lesson?

I look dead forward, narrowing my eyes and sharpening my tone. "I slaughtered you. I've humbled you in our history, Mystica. I walked over you like you weren't even high enough on the food chain for me to consider biting into and taking the time to swallow. Perhaps our first encounter was not a "literal" murder of your physical body, but what would you refer to it as? I should not have been able to conquer you so convincingly in my debut here... and I'd hate to be redundant and continuously remind all of the inferior curs of this extreme landfill just how many times I've already surpassed them, how easily I did it, and how effortlessly history will repeat itself... but that's all I do. I dominate, I make it look easy, and I make it known so all those before me have had fair warning before I cast them down. What's more, dearest Mystica, is the fact that I'll be able to surpass you yet again without even being directly involved in the match you're going to suffer defeat in. I'm merely here in support of Dr. Zero; the vastly superior being who you dare to question, as if your Frankensteined stream of consciousness can somehow begin to fathom the light-years of cerebral void that separates the yous from the us. Your grand scheme in a dramatization where you are given the same limitless powers as Dr. Zero would have the XWF turned into a slaughterhouse? That's what you believe Dr. Zero's drive should be — because oh, the irony." I raise my eyebrows, tilt my head, and speak in the same pitch that I might use if I were trying to amuse a small child...

"He'd be a chicken.

Running a slaughterhouse.

We get it, Mystica. We get it,"
I reiterate as my tone returns to normal and a look of distaste returns to my face. "My knee is in pain from getting it so hard, you regular comedy act, you. Ah, but wait — do you get it, Mystica? Do you understand that you're dealing with a collective of power far beyond that of this Earth and this time? This very existence that you have been infecting for so long is hardly consequential to us, and if I'm being honest—and I always am—I'd say that body you're infecting is going to prove to be just as uneventful in our timelines as your entire existence has been in the XWF.

Now step aside while I address the only true threat in this match.

Hello Sebastian, do you remember me? Ah... but of course you remember the Egyptian Snow Pharaoh who struck you down at the snap of her fingers just days before taking gold from you that didn't even belong to you at any point in time. For those who are not in the know, I'm referring to the fact that my team was able to take the XWF Trio Championships from Sebastian Duke — not because Sebastian was actually a defending champion, but because he was chosen at the last possible second by a braindead Peter Gilmour who was the only actual title holder in that match. Peter had to choose two substitutes because his original team mates were unwilling to continue teaming with him, so he chose Sebastian Duke and Cam Lang. This does not make Sebastian Duke a former Trio Champion. It means he was a substitute in a match, and instead of winning the match and becoming an official champion, he lost."

I fold my arms and prepare to break down something very important for Sebastian as I say, "My point? It's as simple as the Black Circle's combined mental prowess — I've already defeated Sebastian Duke when gold was on the line that he did not own. Now, I will defeat him when gold he does own was not scheduled to be on the line. Riddle me that, XWF universe... and be sure to be watching when all of Sebastian Duke's championship plans come to an abrupt end for a second time by my hand. Count down the hours oh great King of Darkness, Sebastian Duke; for the strike Dr. Zero and I are about to unleash upon you is one you could never hope to no-sell. Everything that you are and everything you represent is but a ripple in my own private pond, and I'm about to start tossing boulders instead of skipping rocks.

We're about to absorb everything of value in this land, and it looks as though we'll hardly be met with any resistance at all."
