Sweet Sacrifice Part 1

Two weeks. Two little weeks… A lot can change in that short of a time. People change, situations change, lives change. Some for the good… and some for the bad. No matter what it is, it happens and we can’t stop it. WE can’t change what we can’t control and sometimes we can’t chance even what we can control. The only thing we really and truly control is ourselves and our actions. And then you still have to watch that cause actions speak louder than words. For example, you can tell someone they are your best friend… that they are like family and then when you need that person at a time of need or just to unload on… they are not there. Sometimes though… it can’t be helped that that friend can’t be there but when it happens over and over… you start to feel it. You start to see they are not a true friend.

When last Christine was seen, The Twisted Angel had full control of Christine and her body. Christine was locked away deep within herself. The alters seems to have taken over. They young child trying to take care of Christine and comfort her while the demon was running loose and trying to destroy the world. Locked deep in herself… Christine worried about her brother, her sister, her ex especially sense that is one person she wanted to hurt the most. But she was also concerned what Angel would do to her current boyfriend.

Time for the match and Angel looses. Management notices things are right… Christine didn’t switch back. They lock her away in a psychiatric hospital. Christine is missing for a week and what is funny… no one seemed to miss her or even think to look for her. In that time frame of being in this hospital… the Angel let loose of Christine and almost hid to the point that Christine couldn’t even feel her. Christine was scared and felt alone. Felt like no one was left to give a damn about her. Locked in a hospital.

Jump to Friday, November 15th. Christine was sitting at an airport with her brother Simon, waiting for their flight. Christine starts to run her hand thru her hair. She is trying to relax… taking a deep breath and trying to chill out but failing as the memories keep flooding thru it all. She closed her eyes and laid her head on Simon’s shoulder. He glances at her as he holds his sisters hand. He knew what she had been thru and he was going to do anything he could do to protect his sister.

Simon Nash Shh. You rest. I will make sure you get on this plane and you meet up with John.

She nods as she starts to doze off as Simon watches and looks on. He holds her hand as he can feel the emotions she is having he knew what was troubling Christine and he was powerfulness to stop it. But he that she was strong and that she could fight this. Her demon altar has been quiet as of late and that alone was enough to not only freak Simon out but scare the shit out of him. He patted her head as she let her sleep right there on his shoulder.

As Christine is laying there on her brother’s shoulder… she started reliving the hospital and what happened there. But the one thing that she remembers the most was how they tried to help her get out. Christine had been brought in to this horrid place in a straight jacket and thrown into a small padded room. She screamed at first before sitting there sobbing. Alone and scare, she didn’t think she would see her family, friends or anyone ever again. The walls to her seemed to be closing in. She sat there and shook as she wondered if anyone even missed her. If anyone was even looking for her.

They would come in and give her medicine trying to calm her down. Christine tried to resist but in the end… she failed and ended up taking the nasty stuff. When she was finally calme, they let her walk around with the other people there. She tried to keep to herself but soon even that failed as this creepy old man… twice her age would follow her around. When she wasn’t paying attention this creepy old guy would sneak up behind her, smack her on the bottom or flirt and Christine would freak and jump a mile. She got brave enough to slap the guy once but that got her locked up again. So she would just run away from the man and try and hide.

Finally after a week, Christine was allowed to have her cell back for a while. She first called her current boyfriend and got the message. So she left him one.

Christine: I wanna go home baby. I don't like it here. This psychiatric is for the birds. Please help me.

She hung up and thought. No… she shouldn’t. NO he wouldn’t… but she took the chance and called her ex. She didn’t know what Matt would think or if he would even be able to do anything. But she took her chance. She heard him say hello and the tears started to flow. All the pain was there still from her walking out but even more… the fear of her never leaving this horrid place. She tried to sound calm when she spoke.

Christine: Wanted to say Hey. Everyone won and I am locked away in a psychiatric hospital. I hope I can go home before Addy's birthday. Hug and kiss them for me. Please.

Matt Wait what you finally listened to me, but I hope you do come home by her birthday, and I will.

She rolls her eyes at that comment knowing that he did say it a few time but little did he know the fear she had about all this came to pass. She curls up in the corner as she sits there talking to him trying to stay calm.

Christine: I was forced... I didn't go willingly. I was locked in a padded room for a week. Just now allowed to have my cell back. I hate it here. I wanna go home.

Matt I know but you do need the help, I know you want to be home with John.

Yes she wanted to be home with John, she wanted to be there to plan her daughter’s birthday. She wanted to be anywhere other than where she was.

Christine: They aren't helping... Matt I feel worse being here. I am so scared I won't get to go home. I am so scared I will be stuck here forever.

A little panic was starting to show as was talking. She could hear some concern in his voice as he spoke.

Matt You will get to go home Chrissy just relax, don't be scared Chrissy you are a fighter you can fight through this

Fight thru this? She thought… yeah you come in here and see how much fighting get you. She couldn’t help but think the worse after all she had been thru. She slowly started to rock as she sat there. Panic sounding worse as she continued.

Christine: These people don't understand. These people just want to lock me away. I wanna go home. I don't like it here. Please... Someone help me. Please.

The tears continued as she listened to him. The shock and concern kinda surprised her as she had thought the worse. She left him… and here he still gave a damn. That surprised her more than anything.

Matt Chrissy relax, Andrew was already called Simon is already working on a way to get you out.

Christine: I hope so. I can't relax. I can't. Not here. No way. They don't understand about D.I.D. and don't want to help me get past what caused it. It is exactly what I feared. I have been here almost 2 weeks and all they want to do is keep me locked up. Keep me alone. I am so scared I can't go home. I don't want this. I don't like this. I would love to see a friendly face even. I haven't seen anyone since I got locked up. Sarah tried to call and they wouldn't even let her talk to me. I wanna go home.

He could hear her sobs as she scanned the room. Most the other people were doing whatever they wanted, not noticing her in the corner. All was clear at the moment. Everyone doing their own thing and Christine sitting in the corner rocking and talking on her phone to the only person that was there to talk to and reach out to. She was still surprised he gave a damn but was glad he was listening.

Matt Simon and Your Lawyer Andrew are on their way to the place where you're at so you will be getting out soon.

Christine: I hope so. I really do. I am so sorry Matty for everything. But I don't know what to do. Walls closing in. I think I hear Ally and Sarah are coming up. But I don't know. I am scared. John didn't answer my text. I hope he isn't mad at me. I hope he didn't forget me. I feel like I did when I was kidnapped by Wade. You should understand that.

Her sobbing was worse, she couldn’t hold it back. She needed someone to wrap their arms around her and help her thru it but no one was getting in. The man in charge wouldn’t even let her family in. She was so scared and this time… she really had no way of getting herself out of the mess she was in.

Matt They are coming to see you, and John hasn't forgot about you, he was focused on lethal lottery. I know you are going to be fine

She was still sobbing as she heard him speak. She swallowed hard before she began.

Christine: I hope you are right Matty. I really hope you're right. I am so scared right now. Oh I don't want to see that padded white room again. No way. I know if they saw me right now... that is where I would be. Locked in the room is a straight jacket again. I feel like I am loosing it more in here than I was walking around. This one guy keeps hitting on me and he is weirder than I. I am so creeped out. Please just keep talking at least until someone comes here. I just need a friend right now and someone I can trust.

Just then she saw the man she described to Matt walk in the door. Her stomach started to churn. Oh no… she hoped he didn’t notice her. She didn’t need him right now. She needed out. She had bruises all over her and her hair fell in her face. She tried to make herself hide even more but there wasn’t a lot of places to go in this room.

Matt I am going to talk Chrissy, Simon just messaged me that they arrived there, so hopefully they can get you home.

Christine: I hope so. I really do hope so. I am glad you don't hate me. I was so bad to you. I am sorry.

She was shaking as she remembered everything she did to Matt. She pretty much knew how he felt when she had him locked up. She hated this… at least she wasn’t as mean as these people… but still it hit her hard what she did. She knew she wasn’t in her right mind at the time and really… she still wasn’t.

Matt You were not so bad to me, it in the past Chrissy we have to let the past go to focus on the present and future.

Christine: I feel like I was. I know most of it wasn't me in control... but right now... I am me and not her. And me... I feel like shit for everything that happened. Oh God... Please dude... leave me alone. UGH! I need to hide somewhere.

The man started to walk closer as he saw her sitting there. She bit her lip wishing to be anywhere but where she was. The man had this creepy smile on his face and she almost froze in fear.

Matt SImon and Andrew are there so they could see if anyone is bothering you, and Simon is feeling your pain.

By now… Christine had scrambled into a room closer to the door. She looked out the window with the bars on it. She saw people walking around. She could hear the arguing on the other side of the door.

Christine: I feel his stress. I know he wants me out as much as I want to get out. I moved to another room away from the guy. So I am safe at the moment. I looked out the window as saw Simon's car. I am still really scared. I am trying to be strong but really Matt if you could see what I am in. I think you would even fight to get out.

Matt I told Simon about the dude so that might be leverage for them to let you out. Yeah I would already let the demon out to scare them to let me out

If he only knew… the more she fought… the more she was in that padded room.

Christine: Right now if you can believe it... she is quiet. The child isn't.... she is freaking like me but Angel is quiet. I know she is still here... but it is like she wants me to suffer. I think she is punishing me. I don't know. I hear Simon. He is pissed.

She hated to hear Simon yelling. But she knew he was trying to do what he always did…. protect his sister. No matter what happened, Simon was always there for her. He never let her down. It was almost like she never did anything wrong in his eyes except pick on Simon. But that was far from true.

Matt Chrissy maybe this is suppressing the demon until you have matches. Let hope when you get out that you will be able to control her more.

Christine: I hope. I still hear Simon. He is yelling. I am shaking.

Matt calm down chrissy, calm down Simon is protecting you.

She slid her back down the door as she sat on the floor listening to Matt and listening to Simon and Andrew arguing with the man in charge. Threatening Court and lawsuits and producing papers. She felt Simon torn between her and her emotions and the anger of this ass not letting him see his sister.

Christine: I don't know if I can Matty. I don't know if I can. I am so scared. I really want out now. I am trying to be calm but it ain't working. I am shaking and I am so scared.

Matt Hang tight they are Andrew has them drawing up the release paper work now.

She sniffles.

Christine: Ok... I hope so... I... I... ~Sobs~ I don't wanna be alone. I don't wanna be here.

Matt You won't be alone Sarah is on her way to go get Ally to get because you are coming home

She heard the door finally unlocking and she took a deep breathe.

Christine: Good. Thank you. Owe you one for being here for me even though I have been a ass to you. I see Andrew.

About that time, she started to stir as she found they were already on the plane.

Christine: How… how did I get here?

Simon Nash I carried you on. I didn’t want to wake you although you were crying in your sleep.

Christine: I just revisited that horrid place. Went through all the emotions and conversations that happened. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Simon Nash I know sis. I wish I could have got in there to help you. Andrew did most the work. He was the one that really got you out. Matt… he tried to keep you calm on the phone.

Christine: I know, I am surprised he was there for me. I hurt him bad. I was so mean to him. I don’t deserve to be happy after what I did.

Simon Nash Forget about it. It is only going to make it worse and you do deserve to be happy. You have John… and in a way… you do still have Matt. He always answers when you call and John has been there for you to. He took care of you after you got home. Trust me Chrissy… you have more support than you think.

She looks down before looking out the window as the scene fade.
