I stared at her, watching as she ranted in French, throwing rocks and screaming. She was losing to the demon within and I was thrilled. My own demon knew her sister was back and I closed my eyes, letting her take over.



"You're finally giving in."

Alexandra turned around, her eyes wide. I never really let the vampire take control.

"You're eyes..."

"I'm not used to fully giving in. She's quite a sight, isn't she?"

Alexandra stepped back a bit.

"Not even Radio has seen her...Father's the only one who has...he felt bad and tried to make her as beautiful as he could...this was the outcome. I smelled the blood when brother scratched you...you don't need to hide it from me."

I smiled at her, my head cocked.

"You didn't need to. I didn't want you to know. I would never want to be in the middle of a fight between you two. Or cause you two to fight."

Alexandra looked down at the water. She honestly didn't know what to say now.

"Ally.." Alexandra cut her off before she could continue.

"Minx, seriously. Its nothing, it's just a scratch." Alexandra looks at her a moment. "You could smell me? What did it smell like?"

"Rain, snow and...death. Yeah I know, interesting combination but you've always smelt like rain, snow and death to me. Zak smells like fire, ice and Hell and Radio smells like shadows, innocence and snow. I guess it's why I get along with all of you. Each of you smell like the water Element."

I smiled at her, looking more like a demon...or a zombie with my split cheek.

"You never need to worry about me and Zak fighting over something as little as a scratch. To be honest, that needs to be the job of either Mystica or Griffin."

I caught Ally's eyes widen slightly outta the corner of mine and I laughed softly.

Alexandra looked at Minx, then down at the ground. She shook her head.

"All of that? Wow."

She glances up at her, before looking back down at the ground.

"I knew you two would. I couldn't let that happen. Look it's just a tiny little thing, practically healed."

Alexandra removes the bandage, showing her.

I smiled again and this time, Ally noticed that my chest stopped moving.

"Why aren't you breathing?"

"I'm still a vampire...You're still a human."

Ally understood, she knew it was still painful for me to admit that I was this...damned soul. Cursed to forever walk among humans, aliens, or really...anything that had a pulse.

"As much as I wish for you to join me...on this side of life...I won't take you from the men who love you. I won't damn your eternal soul to walk among the living with a heart that will never beat again. That is something for you to decide...and even then...it's a lot to give up once you see the larger picture."

My black eyes looked back over the lake and I sat on a rather large bolder, still staring at the calm water.

"You would forever be the age you are now, make all the women jealous by never getting a wrinkle and the ones you have, will smooth out. Your skin will be soft as silk but strong as diamonds. We just don't sparkle. You would be forced to watch your friends and your lover grow old and die while you remain young. Eventually, you would be alone with only the others of our kind to remind you that you're never alone as a race...but...it's not as easy as you think. Zak was selfish when he turned me...and Father attempted to make it right...but you can't reverse death...no matter if your the God of the Underworld. Would you believe he even went as far at to call in the God of Death and the God of Destruction?"

I laughed and watched Ally sit next to me, staring between myself and the water.

"Even they couldn't give me back what was stolen. So...I became an Everlasting Demon...The Beloved Angel to my victims. Mother cried...knowing that I would never become what was meant to be...but...that's why she made the deal with the Moon. Grandmother agreed and now...you know why we call you the Moon's Daughter. Your sisters don't even have the powers that you do."

"Really?"

I just nodded, "The Moon can only choose one heir from her line...the blood runs through your family but you were the one she picked. It's just unlocking the demon within before you can truly become the Witch you were meant to be...and you're on the right track."

Finally, I turned my head and looked at my cousin, a soft smile on my face.

Words sounding like a far off echo..

"Ooooh Micah... hehehe.

I jumped up, my head snapping around and looking for the voice.

"Micah?"

Even Ally, who had never been scared of me before, jumped up and slammed her back into a tree. My lips were curled up in a snarl and my eyes scanning the forest line.

"I fucking heard you..."

"Micah!"

My eyes shifted over to Ally, "I heard someone...."

"Who?"

"They called my name...I don't know who..."

I sat back down on the rock and kept my eyes on the wood line, even as Ally walked over and placed her hands on my shoulders.

"Breath, my little vampire."

We both laughed softly and I rested my head against her shoulder, relaxing.

"Ally...Am I Mad?"

Once again words are echoed so Micah can hear, but can't make out the direction they are coming from.

"The trees sway... Hehehehe. Follow.

A blood curling scream filled the clearing and I covered my ears, shacking my head.

"NO NO! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

"MICAH!"

I jumped away from Ally, snapping my fangs at her when she tried to reach out.

"Why don't you just run? Run from me like the others."

My voice came out in a deep, snarling growl and I crouched down, snarling and snapping my fangs at her when she got close.

"Micah...just calm down."

The sound of breaking branches reached my ears and I looked behind Ally at the man who broke through the clearing. I could see their auras...I could feel their confusion and fear. The blacks, reds, blues and silvers floated around Ally and the other man.

"Alexandra..."

He was protective of her...his eyes flashed between me and her, almost at a loss of what to do. I snapped my fangs again and pressed back against the rock.

Alexandra stepped between Micah and the man.

"Micah, calm down."

She tried to move closer to her, not minding that Micah was lashing out at her. Alexandra reached out, placing her hand on Micah's skin. That's when she heard it, a voice calling her from the woods.

"Who is that?"

She listened harder, the laugh was uncanny. She knew instantly.

"First he tries to use Griffin against me, then Mystica, now you? He really will stop at nothing wont he?"

My snarls filled the clearing and the man barely pulled Ally away from me before I tried to take a bite outta her.

"What the fuck?!"

I snarled, hissing at the two of them before circling them slightly. That blasted voice called out again, that annoyingly insane sing song voice and I screamed again, my hands covering my ears and dropping to the cold, hard earth,

Alexandra looked at her trying to pull away, wanting to help her.

"Micah.. don't listen to him. Don't give in, you'll wind up a zombie, just like Elisha and Mystica. You'll forget everything and everyone who matters."

Alexandra became enraged.

Radio shows up with a smirk on his face like usuall. He sees micah freaking out and alexandra helping her and then his smirk dropped and his eyebrow raised.

"uhh...hey! How's it goin?"

My black eyes snapped towards Radio and I snarled at him.

"No...NO!"

I struggled to my feet, my head still filled with the voice and laughter.

"You can't...you can't!"

Another scream ripped from my throat and I dropped to my knees again, shaking violently.

"Let light lead.. and follow me.

See ya soon. Hehehe."

I screamed again, my hands tangling in my hair.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!"

Everything hurt, the voices rang through my ears, the demon screaming in lust and hunger. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I flinched.

Eli stands behind Micah and puts his bearded face right up her face. He laughs lightly and smiles big.

"Don't ignore the voice of truth, darlin'. Home? Hehehe.

Micah turns and Eli isn't there.

I hissed and jumped away, staring at the woods behind me.

"Where are you?!"

Another demonic howl ripped from my throat and I slowly walked towards the woodline, my head cocked.
