The scene is set on a formal interview set as long time legendary announcer “Mean” Gene Okraland, an elder gentleman with a bald head sits next to one of the newest XWF Signee’s, and a man that will be making his XWF debut in short order on the next edition of Warfare as a part of the XWF’s March Madness tournament; Terry Borden.







” Mean” Gene Okraland- ” Ladies and Gentleman welcome to a very special introduction to a man that truly needs no introduction as he is set to debut in the XWF in just two weeks as a part of the March Madness Tournament; please join me in welcoming the immortal… Terry Borden!”


The camera starts to pan back revealing the living legend sitting next to Mean Gene. Terry is sporting a red and yellow bandanna over his head that displays “AMERICANMANIA” etched across the front of it, he is sporting a red t-shirt with yellow writing that matches the bandanna with the word “AMERICANMANIA” written across the front in matching font with a pair of white-washed jeans.


”Mean” Gene Okraland- ” It is really good to see you again, Terry.”


Terry Borden- ”It is good to be back in the mix Gene, that is for sure.”


”Mean” Gene Okraland- ” It has been far too long since you have stepped back into the limelight of professional wrestling, and now here you are officially signed to the Xtreme Wrestling Federation. What the hell are you thinking?!?!”


Mean Gene garners some light, soft laughter from Terry.


Terry Borden- ” Ya know brother, I do not even know anymore. They say in this business never say never, and for the first time in my entire professional career I have come to the Xtreme Wrestling Federation to prove one point; age is not anything but a number.”


”Mean” Gene Okraland- ” Come on Terry… this is me you are talking to. The XWF is not like anything you have ever been a part of. Are you sure you know what you are getting yourself into? They do not care about your age, they will throw you into all kinds of crazy stipulation matches just for the sake of crazy stipulation matches. At this point in your career will your body be able to hold up under the most extreme of circumstances?”


Terry Borden- ” You know Gene, with every great risks comes great rewards. I have been doing the thing for forty-two years. Think about that for a second, I have been doing this before most of the kids in the business today were even thoughts on this planet. There is a reason why they said the only thing to survive a nuclear holocaust besides cockroaches is Terry Borden. I am well aware that I am going into this company with a major uphill battle every time I step foot in that ring, dude. It is something that weighs on my mind more often than anyone will ever know, but when you believe in Terry Borden you believe in Americanmania. You believe in the training, the prayers, the vitamins and being the very best that you can be, brother.”


”Mean” Gene Okraland- ” Terry, there are a lot of people out there unfamiliar with you and what you have accomplished in the four decades you have wrestling. If you had to school the XWF on who you are what would you say?


Terry Borden- ” Gene you and I have known each other for over thirty years, and this is not either of our first rodeos. We already know what is going to be said about me by the sheer predictable nature of people in general, brother. We know that I will be accused of ripping off someone else, we know that wisecracks are going to be made and we know that the locker room is going to take one look at me when I walk into the building on Warfare and roll their eyes.”


Terry takes a moment as he gathers his thoughts.


Terry Borden- ” They are going to ask themselves why someone north of sixty-five years old is doing in a ring. I will tell you what I am going to do, brother. I’m going to do what I have done since the day I laced a pair of wrestling boots, and that is giving everything my best shot regardless of if I win or lose. I will not sit here and pretend that I am anywhere close to my prime because we both know my better days are long behind me, dude… but that does not mean that I will roll over and be a stepping stone for anyone involved in this March Madness Tournament, nor will I pretend that this entire thing has my name written all over it. Everyone that elected to take part in this tournament has done so with their motives or intentions, dude.”


”Mean” Gene Okraland- ” What are your intentions?”


Terry Borden- ” Well brother, if I am being one hundred percent honest I just want to have a good showing while proving to the world that I still can hang, dude. What better way to establish if I still got it than taking on a new company with new challenges? I do not expect any of these kids to understand that I am the guy that body-slammed Padre’ The Giant in front of ninety thousand screaming fans in nineteen eighty-two, I do not expect for them to remember the war to settle the score with Rowdy Roddy Peeper or my many battles with the Nature Boy Ric Fleir. While all of those battles paved the way for the business today it seems that respect for people that are responsible for there to even be a business to compete in is a lost art. I am not demanding anything, I am not going to rest on my past; instead, I am looking towards my future.”


”Mean” Gene Okraland- ” Speaking about the future and now since there is no turning back let us talk about March the third and your in-ring return on XWF’s Warfare. It is your first-round match up and it is against a guy calling himself Money Oswald. Are you familiar with him?”


Terry Borden- ” I have done some research on this big man, and while I could speak volumes on him now, brother, I am going to play the more reserved role and allow him to bury his self under his own words when it comes to how this encounter can play out. He is big, he is built like a brick shithouse but he is also very beatable as his history displays, dude. There are plenty of kinks in his armor that I will point out when the time is right, brother. The fact he claims to lead a group of misfits but he is upstaged by everyone in his group, let us take that as an example, dude. Take it from a guy that has led factions in the past and be part of many dynamic duos that it is never a good look to be a frontman that is looked at as the ass end, brother!”


”Mean” Gene Okraland- ” Wait just a minute Terrister, are you telling me that Oswald is the ass end of the Brotherhood of Baddies?”


Terry Borden- ” I am saying that he plays this role that he is a bigger deal than he is. He is as beatable as they come and I cannot think of a better way to kick of my XWF career than by knocking off the so-called leader of a dominant faction, brother! The fact of the matter is this; I know that I have to come in guns blazing to set myself up for future success. It does not matter if it is Oswald if it is Shawn Wylde or even if it is Chris Page his self, dude! I have come to the XWF for one last run, brother.”


”Mean” Gene Okraland- ” One last question and I feel like I need to ask this based on what I have already heard. Rumor has it that XWF superstar Boris is looking for you. Do you have any words for the XWF’s favorite Russian?”


Terry Borden- ” If Boris wants to step to the plate I am not a hard man to find, dude! That goes for anyone. I am an island all to myself, well, me and all my millions of Americanmaniacs all over the world, brother! Amercianmania is a force like no other. The XWF is going to find out exactly what Terry Borden is all about.”

This DUDE is deluded enough to think that he is calling the shots with the faction known as BoB when in the real world he is at the bottom of the pecking order. Barney Green, Internet Champion. Miss Fury, World Champion. Jenny Myst redefined a Shooting Star division. Bobby Bourbon and Thunder Knuckles? You could not hold their jocks if you tried.

All you are is a blank check and you are entirely too stupid to realize it, BROTHER!

So what happens when you step into the ring with me on Warfare and have to crawl back to your boys and girls and explain to them that you could not get the job against a senior citizen that has been in this business longer than you have been on this Earth, DUDE! How do you think your peers will look at you knowing that you choked harder than Thaddeus Duke as Universal Champion, BROTHER!

You might have size.

You might have strength.

You might have speed.

What you do not have is are the millions and millions of AMERICANMANIACS by your side through thick and thin to carry you when you are down and out, DUDE! You are going to step in the ring and lock horns with the alpha male in this equation, BROTHER!

You are going to walk in under a false sense of security under the impression that this is going to be a pushover.

Then you are going to be introduced to the twenty-three and three-quarter-inch pythons, DUDE!
