(OOC: I'm in the middle of a major house move. Didnt have time to do coding, but needed to send this in. Both Atticus and Theo have okayed this. So for now here's the rough version.)



The cameras fade into the Private Jet of Mastermind as it's getting ready to go from Scotland to the United States as Mastermind takes part in the first round of the March Madness tournament for the King of The Ring for 2020.

Last years winner was Sarah Lacklan, who arrived on the scene in a big way.

Sitting in what looks like a booth, thats a 3 seated sofa looking one way and right across from it was another 3 seatrd sofa looking back towards the first one. Sitting in that first booth was XWF's number one Interviewer Steve Sayors. He looks sweaty but composed. He looks at the camera.

STEVE: "Good evening XWF Universe and welcome inside the Private Jet of my next interview subject. I was asked by this person to come along and have a one on one interview with him. I have interview this person a coue of times before, so it should be fun. But before we get started I want to take you back to what we just saw at the end of Wednesday Night Warfare. Let's roll the piece."

****insert the beginning of the segment****

STEVE: "So, to some, this could be very shocking. It is for me. While for others, well they might not care, but if it was me, I would sit up and take notice. Anyway introducing my guest.... Mastermind,"

Mastermind's new entrance music sounded out over the cabin of the plane's sound system.

Down the cabin aisle walked Melanie 'Crayzee' Childs and Kris The Hammer Von Bonn.

MELANIE: "Hi Steveo,"

KRIS: "Hi Mr Sayors,"

STEVE: "Miss Childs, Mr Von Bonn."

Melanie and Kris continued on past and sat down in two different seats 5 rows back.

Next to walk up was Antony The Jerk, the manager of the Misfits.

ANTONY: "Hello Sayors,"

STEVE: "Antony,"

Antony moved over to the seat across from Steve. The music dies down as Mastermind walks up.

MASTERMIND: "Hey there Steven, thanks for coming and doing this interview,"

STEVE: "It's my pleasure, Mastermind."

Mastermind sits down and signals to someone off camera.

MASTERMIND: "Do you mind if we get moving, I have to get to the States."

STEVEN: "Well it is your plane, you can do whatever you want."

MASTERMIND: "Damn straight I can. In fact I will."

Once again Mastermind signals to someone else off camera.

STEVEN: "Can we please get this interview started?"

An air hostess walked up, gave Mastermind and Antony a glass each and started pouring boubon. The cabin door was heard closing.

MASTERMIND: "Would you like a drink, Steve?"

STEVE: "No thanks,"

MASTERMIND: "Suit yourself, but I did offer,"

The jets engines could he heard starting up. Mastermind took a sip of his drink then looked acrosd at Steve.

MASTERMIND: "Go on start your interview."

STEVE: "The first question I like to ask is why the sudden change in attitude?"

Mastermind looks across at Antony and smirks.

MASTERMIND: "That's the first question he wants to ask?"

Antony smiles and shrugs his shoulders. Mastermind takes a sip of his drink and then sits forward and looks across at Steve.

MASTERMIND: "Because Sayors, I was sick and tired of my old self just putting up with a lot of crap and not getting anywhere. Mind you, you would come back and say what about those times when you won the Television, and X-treme championships? You won them on your own merits. And I would say to that.... those times were few and far between but whilst champion I still had to put up with a lot of crap.

"I'm tired of putting up with the crap, Sayors. I'd rather be involved in dishing out the crap than just putting up with it. Is that a goid enough answer for you?"

Steve nodded. Mastermind sat back and took another sip from his glass. The jet started moving. It was taxing towards the runway.

STEVE: "Some people would say, some being your fans, you ate selling your sole to this sort of life, what is your response to that?"

Mastermind stared at Steve like he wanted to throw daggers at the interviewer.

MASTERMIND: "I loved my fams very much. They've always been there for me, but sometimes they know diddly squat. Sometimes they don't even understand the shit I have to put up with. All they have to do is just turn up, and support.

"So it's none of their fucking business if I have to sell my fucking god damn sole. 20 years I put up with being a loner. 20 years I had to do this by myself. It can get pretty lonely sometimes Sayors putting up with up with a lot of shit. I'm tired of being lonely. Of fighting the so called good fight. I'm done with that. Over it. Let someone else fight that for once and see where it gets them."

Mastermind sits back in an angry state, grabs his glass and drank the rest of the drink.

STEVE: "Aren't you being a bit tough on your fans. That's harsh."

Mastermind signalled for the hostess to refill his glass whilst Steve was asking the question. He then shot another dagger look when he heard the question.

MASTERMIND: "Harsh? I'm the one who's being harsh on my fans? How the fuck dare you say that Sayors when I've given everything over the last 20 years. I gave my fans 100 percent even when I was being shat upon by opponents wanting to end my career, I was the one who looked the other way when other people were getting what they want through intimidation and holding Management up for ransom, I was the one who looked the other way when opponents were saying crazy stuff about not only the XWF but my own style. And you are saying I'm being harsh?"

Steve holds both his hands up.

STEVE: "I'm sorry about my comment Mastermind but you have to realise it'll be what other people including your great fans would be thinking. I'm just giving those thoughts a view like I always do. You aren't the only one to be subjected to this type of questioning,"

Mastermind stared angrily at Steve. Then the seat belt sign appeared overhead.

CAPTAIN: "This is your Captain speaking. We are about to take off. Please buckle up."

Everyone around Mastermind buckled themselves up. He continued to lear at Steve. Then he finally buckled himself in.

The plane then gathered speed and took off. When they were in the air, the seat belt sign was turned off.

Mastermind was tapping his fingers on his seat, still clearly annoyed., and agitated.

MASTERMIND: "Ask your next question, Sayors. You are lucky I'm allowing this interview to go on."

Steve could be seen gulping. He had gotten himself into terrifying situations before interviewing XWF Wrestlers, but he knew when he was going too overboard with the questions.

STEVE: "For a long time you considered yourself as a lone wolf. You were very proud of the fact. Others saw it as a great quality of yours to never give in, so to speak, so why now? Why the Misfits of all stables?"

This brought another smirk to Mastermind's face. He grabbed his glass and took a couple of mouthfulls, then swallowed. He then looked at Antony, who was sitting very quietly, which was most unlike him.

MASTERMIND: "That's a great question hey Antony. One of his best to date, shall I tell the story now?"

Antony semi smiled and nodded.

Mastermind turned back to face Steve.

MASTERMIND: "It all started when I went into Semi Retirement back in 2016, 2017. Those two years I was home were great for my family lifestyle. But I always knew I would be coming back, so I sat down with my wife Maria, and discussed my comeback.

"One of the discussions came the topic of actually forming a secret stable, Maria's idea by the way, and fund it to get it XWF ready.

"So I began to look for the right man to take the job on. Maria and I were the silent partners we needed someone who would steal the lime light and be outspoken so that when I came back to the XWF, I would fly under the radar. I was always going to announce myself as the backer, but I just wanted the group to how would you say 'be a distraction," and then I found the right man for the job. Antony The Jerk."

The camera looked at Antony who had a huge smile on his face.

MASTERMIND: "I funded the stable and gave him the full authority to find the right people. I am clearly happy with Kris and Melanie, the way they have 'asserted' themselves into clearly pissing off people."

STEVE: "But some of your opponents will say, like for instance, Centurion, or Fuzz, or even Noah Jackson, that Kris and Melanie have been 'average' at best. They have both had 2 wins and 2 losses, and have both had title matches. So, why do you think you joining an average stable will make people sit up and take notice now?"

Mastermind looks behind him, both Kris and Melanie seem agitated In fact Melanie has gotten to her feet, but Kris has stopped her from doing any damage that she is well known for.

MASTERMIND: "Those facts are true, Steve. Yes they have both have 2 losses and 2 wins, and they would look to be considered 'average' at best in the eyes of some of my opponents, but here's the kicker, Steve. With me, in the stable, the Misfits are stronger. They went away over XMAS, and went back into training. I have no doubts that they can make an impact again. And So will I. We are here to make a statement, to make an impact, to cause chaos, and to make people sit up and take notice."

PRIVATE JET OF MASTERMIND
EN ROUTE TO THE UNITED STATES

The camera fades in to the cabin of Mastermind's private jet as it's nearing it's destination. It finds Mastermind sitting alone in his Private Jet, looking out of the window. He still has a drink with him.

"So Kieran Overton. You and I have a meeting this coming Saturday for the first round of the King of The Ring knockout tournament.

"Let me just say this first and foremost. Like one of my previous two opponents I have actually taken an interest in your early career here in the XWF, and I like what I see."

Mastermind turns towards the camera, and gulps down his drink.

"But don't you dare make me regret saying that. Tell me you are not going to be like Michael Archer Junior, or even Red-X. Tell me you are actually going to give me some competition. Tell me that Keiran.

"Don't be an asshole and don't send in a promo. You need this as much as I do. You need to win, but I have to win. I had a chance of winning my first round match last year, but that fell by the wayside as certain events happened.

"So I am going to tell you now, Keiran Overton. Bring your 'A' game. Show me who you are and what you can do. Because I am going to certainly bring it to you. Whether you like it or not, it's just the way it is. You are going down. I am going to advance to the 2nd round, and for you Keiran it'll be all over."

Mastermind stands up and stretches and he turns back to looking out the cabin window. For a couple of minutes he looks on in contemplation mode. He then speaks.

"Keiran. It is pretty obvious you need to make a statement. And it's pretty obvious, you are going to use me to make that statement. But here's the thing. Your statement will be incorrect. So so wrong. It will be my statement that will be the truest one in the end because I will making it through to round 2. That's all I have to say about that for now."

Mastermind gets up and walks away. The camera fades out.
