Chris Page: It’s about business Famine. It’s about doing what we need to do in order to show these fucks who we are and what we can do.

Famine: And you expect me to stand side by side with Slater given our history?

Chris Page: Yes. Because at the end of the day you and I both know that as a unit, the closer we are, the stronger we will be. Fuck the past dude! So you lost to him twice, so what? You don’t live in the past anymore so why keep dwelling on old wounds?

Famine: It has nothing to do with the past. I just don’t like the guy. Give me one good reason why he and I should work together?

Chris Page: Because the two of you together? It’ll be magic! I can see it now. Tristan Slater and Famine of the Vile together as champions! Just one step closer to the brotherhood being the most dominant force in this company.

A few seconds of silence go by before Famine responds.

Famine: I’m in. But I’m telling you right now Chris, If he fucks me over, breathes in my direction the wrong way or if he so much as pats me on the shoulder I’ll rip his fucking heart out.

Chris Page: That’s fine. But I’m telling you now, regardless of the shit from the past or the fact that you guys don’t like one another, I KNOW you guys are going to be the game changer we need. Now that Cable is gone we need to unify more than ever. Let’s go show these motherfuckers who we are!

Salt & Pepper? Really?!

In darkness, a blood-curdling dissonance: the squeal of unoiled pulleys, the rasp of hooks and razors being sharpened; and worse, the howl of tormented souls. A mixture of tears and roars of rage as we hear men, women and children screaming for mercy. The camera pans left as we see a shadowy figure standing with a smile on his face as he watches on.

This is (pardon the expression) heaven to me. Their screams, their cries are all so soothing. It fuels me and gives me strength. Which spells trouble for anyone who gets in my fucking way. The unfortunate souls that will be beaten and bloodied go by the name of Salt & Pepper. Salt and FUCKING Pepper! Is this what the world of professional wrestling has come to? Are we no longer coming up with names that people will remember forever? This sounds like some millennial bullshit. Like they went to google, found a name generator and picked the first thing it spit out.

But the fact is that it doesn’t matter what the fuck your names are, where you came from or what you did before you came here because NOW, you’re about to face two of the greatest wrestlers this business has ever seen and believe me when I tell you that the last thing I want to do is complement Tristan Slater but he deserves it. He and I have history yes, but I am willing to put that aside for the greater good. You see, when I was asked to come back to this company I didn’t do it because I had something left to prove. I did it because I have nothing left to lose. I’ve been champion, I’ve been put in the hall of fame twice and I’ve been part of the top 50 XWF superstars of all time. At the end of the day that means shit to me because the only thing that matters is what I do in that ring. How people remember me after I’m gone.

Legacy isn’t built on money or who you know, it’s what you’ve done and left behind for the next generation of stars. From what I’m looking at, you’re not going to amount to much and it’s a goddamn insult that we have to get in the ring with scrubs like you two. I’ve never been one to say that an upcoming match is going to be a cake walk but this time? It’s going to be a cake walk! Tristan and I may not like each other. We may not even trust each other, but at the end of the day we both know that we have a job to do and we’re going to get it done.

Saturday night you’re going to experience pain and suffering like you’ve never felt before. We are going to take you from pillar to post and introduce you to the big leagues. This isn’t some podunk wrestling company like the ones you came from. This is the XWF! This is my home. This is where I started my legacy and when all is said and done, we’re going to be looking down on you as our hands are raised in victory and we move one step closer to the gold. I hope you know what you’ve gotten yourselves into and decide to walk away because if you don’t? You’re going to regret it for the rest of your lives. You’ve been warned.

Now onto Tristan Slater. Tristan let me tell you something right now and you better be listening. I don’t like you. I don’t trust you. But because we’re part of the same cause, I am willing to work with you in order to get the job done. So I WILL put our differences aside so that we can do what we do best and that’s kick some ass. So as long as you understand what our goal is, we won’t have any problems. Oh and I’m 48 asshole!
