Previously I spoke how when I firsted started out in the NZ wrestling business I couldnt find any traction as senior opponents would often view me as big headed, so they would go after me big time, enough to injure me.

It was after one serious injury that I first met Maria my future wife.

And now the continuation.

I spoke on the phone with Maria 3 times, they were all lengthy conversations. I was on the injury list because of my concussion and my grant money was due to run out. She told me she would only go on a coffee date with me, if I met her father first, as a business opportunity. She didn't want to see me struggling. She was only looking out for my best interests but at the time I didn't see it that way.

So I finally agreed to meet her father.

He ran his own stock trading portfolio which he had made into a business and was doing well. The business was called Swift Traders, and Maria's father was Markus Swift.

I knocked on the door of his office, and he opened his door.

"Hi my name is 'M', I've got a meeting with you sir,"

"Come on in 'M', it's nice to meet you."

I walked into the office and he shut the door, and returned to his desk, he sat down and ushered me a seat as well, I sat down.

"First thing first," started Markus "This meeting is a favor to my daughter,"

"I understand sir," I replied hating the fact that I owed Maria something already "But really I could take of things myself."

"Really?" replied Markus sounding surprised "I have to tell you, for all potential employees and clients, I do a complete back ground, and you Mr 'M' may I call you Mr 'M',"

"Yes sir," I said starting to squirm in my seat

I didn't like this one bit, all I wanted to do was wrestle, but because my grant was about to run out, and I was on the injury list I had no choice but to follow business opportunities when they came along. I had to bite the bullet.

"Well Mr 'M', what I found out about you is outstanding. You've been 'wrestling' for 4 years, and not very good by all accounts. You are about to finish your grant period, and you are on the injured list. You have no business back ground, and from what I can see, no business future."

"\Yes sir, if you say so,"

"Oh I say so," said Markus sternly "The wrestling business is fickle. Some make it big, some try to hold in as long as they can, but others try and fall by the way side. Where do you see yourself being at the moment."

"Falling by the way side," I said honestly

"Well at least you are honest about that, I like that quality in a person. When I see no future potential in a person usually I just wish them luck, and carry on with my day. But there's something about you Mr. 'M' that I like, that stands out from everyone else that I have met."

"And what's that?" I asked

"Perseverance, and hard work, and commitment. You have been losing quite a lot of matches but yet you persevere with it. You commit yourself to something and stay committed, and you put in a whole lot of hard work and sometimes it's for nothing. Like now. You are injured. When can you go back to the wrestling business?"

"In about 3 months hopefully."

"What are you going to do until then?"

I sat there not knowing where this was going.

"Like I said," continued Markus "My daughter speaks highly about you, especially your character Mastermind, why? I don't know. She's never really followed wrestling, nor has my son Jack. He's the youngest. He's followed the WWF. But one must wonder if my daughter has never followed wrestling, but talks about you all the time, what that means."

"I have been to talking to her, sir."

"Oh I know. My wife hates the fact that her daughter is talking to a wrestler. Don't get me wrong, she knows, no... she thinks, all wrestlers are tough and over bearing and have huge egos. That can be quite bad for a relationship. Not that I am saying my daughter wants to have a relationship with you, that's her business, but for her to ask me a special favor to meet with you means she cares a lot.

"She doesn't want to see you battling in life Mr. 'M'. I know that you can take care of yourself, after your family situation, so I know what ever you decide to do will benefit yourself. But the question will be will it benefit my daughter seeing how hard it is for you to struggle."

"I don't need any favors Mr Shaw," I said

"Oh I know you don't. My wife doesn't want me doing any favors for you either. But that's her problem. I'm not doing you any favors, my wife any favors or my daughter. This is what's going to happen and I'm going to offer it to you just this once. If you turn me down, that's it, I won't ask again. Maria may stick by you, or she won't. I know you two have been talking but that is beside the point. Do you want to hear my offer?"

"Yes sir."

"I take you on for the next three months, teach you how to work the system, and then when you get the chance to go back into the wrestling business, you take what you have learned and start your own business. You'll have the money behind you by then. That way should things not go well, you'll have money behind you to fall back on, but I hear Australia, Japan, and the Asian countries are the place to go to in order to learn more Wrestling experience. Having money to travel over there will do wonders. Are you willing to do the hard work?"

I sat there thinking.

"Yes sir."

"Then report back to me this afternoon, and I'll hire you. Just for 3 months."

"Thank you sir, I won't let you down."

"No I know you won't."

I got up and shook Markus's hand, and then left the room. On my way down in the lift, my phone rang. I answered it.

"Hello?"

"M' it's Maria, I heard you met with my dad."

"Gee that got to you quick."

"You'd be surprised with how quickly I get to know about things."

"I bet."

"I heard you said yes to his offer."

"I did."

"Then meet me for a coffee date for lunch before you go start working for my father, and we can set up a real date while we are talking."

A smile came to my face.

"I'm sure you won't take no for an answer."

"When it comes to you 'M', no I wouldn't."

"Well then it's a yes."

"See you soon. I'll text you the place."

"Okay then."

"You'll thank me one day 'M', it is for your own benefit."

"I know Maria, I know. I am thanking you now. See you soon."

I hung up and knew that this was the start of something wonderful.

CURRENT DAY

HOTEL ROOM OF MASTERMIND

The camera fades in to Mastermind's hotel room and it showed him receiving treatment to his shoulder from a physio. He was standing making sure Mastermind was moving his shoulder around.

Mastermind spots the camera, and nods at the physio who moves out of the way.

Mastermind walks over to the camera picks up his Television belt and takes one last look in the mirror.

"It seems someone is very confused, and that some one is not me. It seems you don't even know what's going on within yourself Oswald. May I call you Oswald? Or should I call you Ghost Tank instead.

"Because that's the only reasonable explanation to know that I have met you before in the ring, and that I came away with the win. You are two different versions of yourselves, but yet you are the same person. You say you are awaken, and you say you know what's going on. But you really don't Oswald, and I for one am going to show you the light. Show you where to go."

Mastermind starts smirking into the mirror, and then faces the camera, and lifts the Television Title above his arm.

"I'm ready to go Oswald? Are you? That's the question, and that's why it needs to be said, that with you not knowing who you truly aren, then that'll be on you, and it'll be your downfall.

"I have beaten you once before, as Ghost Tank. Therefore brother Oswald, because you think you aren't one and the same, I am going to beat you just like I bet Ghost Tank. Very easily.

"Yes the Television Title will be on the line, and like I have shown lately I am at my best when it comes to the Television Championship. Donovan couldn't beat me last week, and I came away with a draw. That wasn't good enough for Donovan, but it was good enough for me.

"Even with a sore arm which isn't sore any more I can take you down Oswald, any day of the week, whether it be Monday Night Madness like in previous years, Wednesday Night Warfare, or Pay Per Views, or now even Saturday Night Savage.

"And I will take you down and show you the light. You may be broken now, but I'll fix you for certain, and make sure you won't even have any chance of taking my Television Title off of me.

"You're confused Oswald. I'll end your confusion tonight. Then Ghost Tank will be left alone, like he always is. See you very, very soon."

And with that, Mastermind went back to where he was standing and as the camera fades out the physio walked back and started doing more work on Mastermind's shoulder.
