Another boring start as we continue to follow Doc on his savage tour heading into High Stakes. Not much to see besides the desert landscape with a small mountain ranges in the distance and another single, empty road, much like last time. Only now, there is no Mazda B3000 pick-up truck creeping down the road, or even the JESTER who's been accompanying Doc on his journeys as of late. It's just the good doctor, his shadow, and a thin trail of cigar smoke.

A few suns have set since we've last seen or heard from him. Our last memory of the doctor leaves him lying in the center of the ring after his victory of the "KING Slayer" Steve Davids. It is only apparent that the good doctor's work to find Davids a tag team partner throughout the past couple of weeks has gone to waste, or perhaps not. R.L. Edgar appeared in the ring and attempted an attack on Doc, which failed, but the Davids managed to take advantage of the distraction and plant Doc on his back in the ring after a Reign Over.

As the doctor walks down the long deserted highway, he's placed the events from last Savage on the back burner. He's not one to dwell or get hung up on one particular mishap, but nothing goes unanswered. If Doc didn't prove his greater ability to Davids in the ring on Saturday, he'll gladly do so again when Davids and his new partner decide to sign their death wish and come after the KINGS'™ gold. Until then, he looks directly forward to the path that's been laid before him. In just a few short weeks at High Stakes, Doc has a chance to, once again, find something he lossed so long ago. The UNIVERSAL Title. By winning the battle royal main-event, he will become the new #1 Contender to the gold, guaranteeing him a title shot soon after. Before that, however, the doctor is tasked with silencing another trap, one that's been flapping and spewing nonsense and threats for what could actually be a couple of years now. Doc would've done the deed long ago, but it's just one of those things that never happened. Trax and the good doctor have indeed had some history, but never pulled the trigger and actually had a one-on-one session. They've met before in the semi-finals of Lethal Lottery, where Trax took advantage of Doc's weak partner, and managed to score a pinfall eliminating Doc from the tournament.

Like we mentioned before, however, these types of things do not go without repercussions.

Even with High Stakes just around the corner, Doc has chosen to keep himself loosened up and has chosen to participate in every Savage event this month, and the last one being this Saturday. Who's the next lucky patient? Michael McBride.

Ahead of the good doctor we notice a bus stop. It's equipped with the common shelter and what not. The only one of it's kind on this simple highway. Doc approaches it and sits on the bench, enjoying his cigar and appreciating the break from the long trek he's taken upon himself.

He sits and catches himself before he expresses himself.

What?

Doc looks down at his wrist watch and smiles as a large tour bus comes rumbling down the highway towards him.
