Deep within a dark, dingy zoo habitat sits Chimpo. He is one of the friendliest chimps at the zoo, since he was raised there from his capture after being illegally purchased by a mean, cruel man who used him for labor. He was taught sign language and has learned to pattern himself after the humans that raised him.

The humans were kind people and treated him well, so for the most part, Chimpo is a very nice chimp in kind. Even though he does have his animalistic side, he is still a very well-bred chimp and he is mostly kind. He uses sign language to communicate his needs, even if on occasion he uses it improperly and incorrectly.

But that doesn't mean that Chimpo doesn't like to have fun or get into trouble. In fact, the pot-head habitat keepers found that Chimpo enjoys fighting, especially with weapons. These keepers found hours of endless entertainment by giving Chimpo a weapon and having him fight other animals. Chimpo became so good at it, that the keepers started charging admission for their other scummy friends to come watch.

Back to Chimpo in his habitat, he sits there staring at a small promotional poster containing the photo of himself and that of Nate Higgers. Sadly, Chimpo cannot read, but he does see the face of the person that he wants to meet. This man has a shiny necklace around his neck, and as everyone knows, Chimpo loves shiny things. Chimpo wants that more than anything else, and he now picks up a small rock and begins smashing it on the ground next to himself, chittering and chattering with each smash.

Chimpo now grins widely and makes his way over to a small broken section in the habitat. He slides through, still clutching the promotional poster in his hand and slips out into the night. His shadowy visage can be seen heading out of the zoo and towards the bright lights of the arena that is mere blocks away. Chimpo has shiny things on his mind and he knows that the man's face on the poster has something he wants.
