Crane: I'm lost. I don't have any clue what I'm supposed to do now. i tried to get an apprentice to help win, didn't work. Then I went to God himself and not surprisingly, he didn't seem to want help me either. I just don't understand why I can't be successful at this. I show up, I make a bit of a splash, then I get pushed aside and forgotton. And it's happening again. It's just history repeating itself.

But here we are. Even through everything I've tried to do to get some attention on me, XWF decides to team with UFC and BAM well need to Ben Crane in on this. So, Sebastian Duke, you wanna ask the question why I deserve a title shot with you? Think about where you're gonna be, son? (points to the cage)

An octogon. Now, I won't sit here and tell you the thought ever crossed my mind about being a cage fighter but now that it has, I'd say it's pretty damn good fit. I mean, if you go up and down the entire roster of XWF, who does this fit more than me? Let's face it, Duke, the octogon is MY HOUSE. But that's just bravado you say? How I have the experience edge over you? The fact that i've beaten you before. I mean, in an environment like this, I'd go as far to say that you my friend would be the underdog in this fight!

I'm faster than you. I don't think you'd argue that point. But more than that, I'm quicker. You've got the strength advantage, sure, but that's why this event is more tailor-made for someone like me. This is about speed and skill. Which I have in spades.

But more than that, we're rivals! If XWF is going to put on an "event" of this magnitude and they're gonna put you in a title match, who ELSE would get the opportunity but me?

The only question would be one of guilt. Would I feel guilty winning the title in an octogon and not a wrestling ring? (laughs) Nope. Don't worry, Duke, If I were to take your title I'd give you a rematch. We were meant to do this forever, remember?

No, when you tap out and the ref hands me your title, I won't gloat. I won't rub it in your face. You are too much a worthy opponent. But I will celebrate. Because I will have earned it, whether you think so or not. And then all the inner turmoil I've been going through the past few weeks, will have been worth it.
