XWF OFFICIAL
XWF can reveal that another Black Hand member has had to take leave until further notice.
XWF Champion and resident , Scully, has requested to take time off to overcome his sudden fear of heights.
During the recent XWF Tag-Team Championship match at Bad Medicine, between the challengers Scully & Muddy Waters, and champions Carson Walter & Flynn Andrew Cole-Ericson of the Brick Squad, Scully had an opportunity to win the match for his team. Skull choked and the Brick Squad took advantage, therefore winning the contest.
Scully is now petrified to even step foot in the ring. XWF management have kindly offered to help the troubled individual, by referring him to one of America's top psychologists, Dr. Bentley. XWF reporters recently caught up with Dr. Bentley who was asked by our reporter, Joey Mere, if throwing Scully off a plane, with a parachute of course, will be the key to defeating his fear?
Dr. Bentley~ "Believe it or not, a lot of psychologists will tell you that the correct answer to that is Yes. The technique is called 'flooding', and it has a solid base in behavioral therapy. The underlying theory behind flooding is that a phobia is a learned fear, and needs to be unlearned by exposure to the thing that you fear.
It may take me a while to succeed with a patient like Scully, who is of course, a little special compared to other patients."
Scully promises to discuss the situation with us in the next couple of days. |
