Maria Swift walked into Mastermind's Mansion for the first time in a few weeks, and she felt strangely out of place. With her were her brothers, Jake, Andrew, and Markus.

ANDREW: "Why are we here again?"

JAKE: "Because Mum told us we had to support Maria."

ANDREW: "But 'M's not here, he's in Las Vegas, preparing to take on The Doc, for the Universal Title."

MARKUS: "Only you would know that."

ANDREW: "No that's wrong, Maria should know that too."

MARKUS: "You are an egghead aren't you Drew, can't you see She's not in the right frame of mind at the moment."

Maria stopped halfway down the hall way, and put her hand to her stomach. She seemed in a daze. Her brothers looked at one another, before Jake slowly walked up to her. He put his hand on her shoulder.

JAKE: "Are you sure you want to be here? We can get what you come for you know?"

Maria faked a smile.

MARIA: "Thanks Jake, but no, I need to do this. If I want him back to normal I need to do this. Alone."

JAKE: "Well lead us to where you have to go to then girl. We'll stand guard."

Maria faked another smile, and nodded. They continued on in silence, passing Mastermind's staff, who just smiled at them along the way.

They soon came to the bedroom that Maria shared with Mastermind, and she stopped and turned to her brothers. She gave them a look as if to say, do not follow any further. Jake just nodded, and stood back. Andrew and Markus just waited. Maria turned and walked into the bedroom.

She walked over to the bed and sat down. It had been a few weeks since she was last in this room, and the room felt different. From her pocket she took out an envelope. She opened it, and out dropped a key. She grabbed her cell phone, and dialed a number.

JULIAN: "Julian Andrews here. Is this you Maria?"

Julian Andrews was of course Mastermind's Personal Assistant.

MARIA: "Yes it is."

JULIAN: "Did you get the package?"

MARIA: "Yes I did, I have to thank you very much, I know you're risking everything by getting this back to me."

JULIAN: "If it means things will change back to the way they were, then I am all for it, even if it risks my career, or my life."

MARIA: "Where do you think IT is?"

JULIAN: "It's in a big box, in the back of his room, in a closet."

MARIA: "Thanks, you've done your part. Just make sure the Doc, doesn't hurt him too badly."

JULIAN: "I can't guarantee that, sorry, I'm not even part of the inner circle of trust."

MARIA: "Hopefully I'll see you here pretty soon."

JULIAN: "Well he does have a match next Monday, so this has to be done fast."

MARIA: "Understand."

Maria hung up, and sat there looking at the back of the room. She looked back at her phone, and texted a number.


She sent the text and waited. It must have seen like for ever before a reply came back, but it was only 5 minutes.


Maria typed back:

I'll see to it.

Maria stood up, and felt a bit dizzy. She sat back down, and placed her hand on her stomach. She took a deep breath, and stood again. Slowly she made her way to the back of the room. Tears started running down her cheeks. She found the wardrobe, and opened it. She turned the light on, and saw the big box at the back of the wardrobe. No one else could touch it, because then Mastermind would know. She didn't want Mastermind knowing that something was up. She also wanted him to focus on the title match.
