The camera fades in to Mastermind sitting inside his Private Jet. It's not moving, but they are somewhere where he doesn't want to be detected.

"This coming Wednesday is my chance to find redemption. Over the past few weeks I've had chances to claim the Hart Championship, and the Intercontinental Championship, but have come up sort on several occasions, and I now I must be forced to compete against the Doc for his Universal Championship, a belt, that I did not have my eyes on at any time this year. But now it's been forced upon me and I have to do this.

"So I seek redemption for my past failures, or should I say, the failures that have come to me by my 'good' side. All it takes is for the Doc to have one simple mistake, and there goes my chance. A chance that I have to take, a chance that I need to take, a chance that I must take."

Mastermind sits back in his seat and thinks for a moment.

"Now Doc, you may come out and say you know me quite well, that's why you recruited me to the Asylum. That was your worse mistake ever Doc, and I'll tell you why. Because you did not count on me. You did not count on me thinking I could undermine you, you did not count on me, breaking your little mind control of your own over me, you did not count on me, being disrespectful. Why? Because you disrespected me. You disrespected me the very moment you ordered me to the compound, you disrespected me the moment you lost faith in me, you disrespected me, the moment you thought you could give me a beating because of the last few weeks.

"Has the thought not crossed your mind that I have been standing up for the Asylum, whilst you have been having a break before you meet Vinnie Lane at the next Pay Per View. What's that you ungrateful bastard? I didn't get a thank you for softening Vincent up during our match, softening him up so much that he needed a couple of weeks to recover, and even then he's going to be softened up some more. But you don't care do you Doc, as long as your 'Men' do the work, on your behalf, and then you take what left. No thanks or nothing.

"Well you know what, I'll beat the thanks out of you on Wednesday, before I take that precious title away from you, then you know how Gollum felt in Lord of the Rings when his Precious Ring was taken away. Wouldn't it be funny, the man who made me who I am today, to become his loyal follower, his loyal trusted general in his army, that weeks later I am the one to dethrone you. That's a very funny thought indeed."

Mastermind starts laughing, and then stops. He looks serious.

"I'm currently on a 6 match losing streak, but if I don't want it to become 7 then I must beat you, and take what I can from you. Like I said this week is all about redemption. I'll redeem myself to you, Doc, by beating you."

"Can you feel it Doc, can you? Your time as Universal Champion almost at an end. My redemption is coming back and instead of stealing it, I can come right out, and beat you for it. The last time we fought, the gap was way too wide, but since then I've narrowed the gap, and as you can see I've bridged it long enough for me to take my chance. I can see through the curtains of your weakness."

"Each time I lost my shot of a championship title, you as leader of the Asylum always guided me with your thoughts, but now since I am who I am, and not what you want me to be, I have tossed that association aside, and I know you don't understand. You were waiting for me to become the prey, but I won't fall to you, I will exploit the weakness."

"I must admit, when my 'good' self first met you, he was not ready, but he is not here right here right now. I am. "It's like I was a boy, when my 'good' self lost to you, he became broken and lost, and all coy, but then you set me free. And now I am here to fix the mess, to fix what was once broken, and make a stand. I am ready to face you, but are you ready to face me Doc?"
