We fade in on the bandaged man sitting across a table in what appears to be a storage container. Die can be heard shaking in his hand as they bounce off each other four times per second. He keeps shaking the die before throwing them down to the floor. We don't get to see the numbers, we can only assume how high or low he rolled. Regardless of the amount, he picks up the die and proceeds to shake them around in his hand once again. The light source, other than the one built into the camcorder for dark rooms and areas, is a lantern that illuminates the table and the bandaged man sitting in a chair just beside it. He proceeds to slam the die down onto the table as he looks straight at the camera's lens with his red, somewhat bloodshot eye.

"Lady Luck is a cruel mistress to those that look up to her, even when she really isn't involved in causing the problem. Every one blesses or curses their own or others for whatever action they do and don't make. Much like everyone else, Austin Fernando chooses to talk about the luck of someone else and lambaste about how he could have beaten him if it weren't for another puppet stopping him from making the pin. Of course, we're not talking about a false ruler today. We're talking about each other and the statements we're about to make."

He picks up the die again and proceeds to roll them around in his hand.

"I've noticed that you're the only one carrying your dying group's handle around to make it appear like they're still around and kicking. I want you to do me a favor and drop it. You're an independent man now, and you don't need the other's failures to weigh you down any longer. That is, unless, you like being ordered around by a scriptwriter and men you claim to be your friends in that group of yours. They're gone, and yet you feel the need to let their names, their standards, weigh you down when people draw comparisons towards everyone else. Stockholm syndrome? Perhaps. My guess is that you're too afraid to let go and be yourself."

There's a brief pause as he rolls the die across the table. He scoffs at the amount that he sees before continuing.

"You also like the claim that I'm like everyone else and will go the route of demeaning the Heavy Metal belt. Surely you must have heard by now that I'm not after belts, even if I earned one with a 'teammate'. I don't go out of my way to be a memorable marketing ploy for the XWF, and I'm certainly not going to use up all of my energy on how I'm climbing the ladder for straps I don't need or want. Besides, it's not the item they wrap around their arms or waist, it's the people that hold them I'm willing to take down. Keep making your assumptions on camera before I waste time out of my life talking to lackeys like you."

He reaches over for the die again and shakes them once more.

"No, I'm wasting time talking to you because you're just in the way. I don't view you as a threat to my goal or my life. Nobody in your group or this company is. If I have to beat your head in just to prove to Shane that I can power through even the brightest prospects, I will."

Jack stops shaking the die to let them roll out of his hand, stopping just in front of his face. He looks at the number for a brief moment before continuing with his point.

"Interestingly enough, one of Shane's many pawns booked this as an Extreme Rules match. With a match like this, one would think he'd have a great shot at jeopardizing not only my chances at getting rid of Shane . In reality, he's only jeopardizing his own life just to try and stop me from killing his boss. Or will he? After all, he did have one of his former 'allies' arrested for lying about his real identity in his contract. To believe you worked alongside a man who thought someone else was him. Truly laughable."

His eye seems to show signs of glee after what he just said, but it's clear he's keeping a professional air about him this time.

"You see, I'm not the one keeping you away from Sebastian, you made it perfectly clear that you're able to beat him down at any point of time. So the reason you're watching this promo is to look for points to debunk while you and your fellow actors continue to have a good time training, socializing, or doing whatever else you want to before our encounter. Maybe you're going to use this match as a message to your person of interest when weapons are involved. If you're willing to look back at the shit I've taken, you'll realize that it'll take more than whatever weapons you'll end up using in the fight to bring me down."

He shakes his head while thinking back at the other contents of the promo his opponent cut on him.

"I know that behind the facade you put on for the camera, you're afraid of the amount of punishment I can survive through. You're afraid of how brutal I am willing to make this match while you claim that I'll just be another ragdoll for you to toss around for a few minutes before you walk out the victor. No match ever works like that unless you're fighting a blow up doll. You've never fought any blow up dolls in your life, at least I hope you haven't."

Beat.

"I barely managed to defeat Cain, hm? Was the fact that I beat him with sheer willpower and common sense not impressive on its own? Alright, I'll play the game of barely. Since I 'barely' managed to defeat Cain and 'barely' managed to become a holder of one of the companies many straps that I would've been more than happy to drop, you 'barely' managed knock a man out, 'barely' managed to come in second place in a battle royal for yet another strap, 'barely' managed to pin a man alongside Sebastian to almost become a secondary winner, and 'barely' managed to get picked out by the group that you're now the sole member of."

A soft chuckle can barely be heard across the table.

"It doesn't matter who beats me or not in whatever show I end up appearing in and my past accomplishments shouldn't concern you. What does matter is how I always come out looking better than the lackeys that ended up fighting against me. The match with Cain I had for my return? I walked out of it a survivor. The match with the 16 bit girl and the false elitist? I walked out of that match the most powerful. The challenge set up by a kidnapped idiot under the guise of a manager? I will walk out of that match the aggressor. As for the match between you and I? I will walk out of it the victor."

Another pause in his speech as he picks up the die once again.

"My wording towards you might come off as more aggressive than usual, but that's because I know that dealing with another puppet that believes they're hot shit is going to be mentally exhausting. But it's all part of the process of getting the boss to notice me. Taking out another arrogant wannabe that everyone else hypes him up to be would speed up the process somewhat. So I appreciate another roadblock for me to take out in order to target the man I want. Maybe I can make things easier for the supposed Prince and tenderize the meat for him. And when he takes that first bite into your weakened body, he'll thank me for preparing such an excellent meal for him. Now let me ask you something, eternal puppet; Do you feel lucky enough to stop this from happening? Are you hoping that Lady Luck that Pest might target me to grant you a shot at victory?"

The mummy proceeds to shake the die in his hand.

"Roll the die and find out, puppet. Write your script now, because I'll make sure that the lines you utter will be self defeating."

He rolls the die across the table, stopping just by the camera, leaving a gap for us to see him still.

"Snake eyes. Not a good start for you, puppet."

With that, the scene fades to white.
