Previously after losses to Sebastian Duke, Loverboy Vinnie Lane, and then Morbid Angel, Mastermind was called by the Doc, to attend a meeting with the Asylum Members, and to discuss his current losing situation.

After turning up at the compound, Mastermind took offense to being told to run laps, and ordered to face the Doc and Hysteria, Mastermind had had enough. He confronted the Doc, turned on Frodo, and sent men crashing around the place.

The stand off between The Doc, Hysteria and Mastermind continues... now.

Mastermind looked at both The Doc and Hysteria.

"I know you've got your fingers around my god and bad side, but it won't wash with me, I'm completely different all together. You need to know that."

There's no strangle-on, Mister Mastermind. There's no manipulations. All I've done is placed a mirror in front of yourself and given you the opportunity to choose your own fate. With the ability to do so, I've found you a necessary piece to my army.

"You say that Doc, but I keep getting the feeling you want to control me too."

Bahahahehehemahaha! That's not at ALLLL what it is. I swearsies.

"Somehow for a weird reason, I don't believe you or The Doc."

Although trust has never been a good foundation for any relationship with my patients, I suggest you rethink what you believe or disbelieve, my friend. Trust may not support the Asylum, loyalty and strength does. You've been very loyal thus far, and I'm afraid you cannot afford to forget that. We may have an odd history and you may be going through odd times, but you must at the very least trust yourself.

"Is that so? Is that your so called professional opinion then Doc?"

Take it for whatever you wish.

The Doc and Hysteria looked at Mastermind, and Mastermind looked back at them. The air was thick with distrust all around. Just then Mastermind and Hysteria's cell phones beeped, to issue a text had just been received. Whilst the Doc and Mastermind stared at one another, Hysteria grabbed his phone, and read the text. He smiled.

Wellllll, welllll, welllll. What have we HERE?

Hysteria showed Doc the text message.

You had better check your phone, Master of Minds.

Mastermind pulled out his phone and read the text.


At the same time both The Doc and Mastermind looked up at one another. Hysteria was crackling under the joke. The Doc began to smirk. Without warning Mastermind scampered for the door, and got there in no time, opened it and was gone. Hysteria went to follow but the Doc held him back.

Let him go, my Prophet.

The Doc walked to the window and watched Mastermind running for the private landing strip where his Private Jet was waiting. Within minutes he had boarded it, and it took off.

Mastermind sat down in his seat as his Private Jet took off. He looked out of the window as the compound was disappearing slowly. A smile began to appear on his face, and he turned and grabbed his lap top, opened it and turned it on. He went to the XWF Website where he transmitted a promo.

"Well well well, it seems the powers that be in the XWF Management have decided to play some weird mind games with the Asylum. First we see the conforming of the Heyman Alliance, and Kirk McClay's Underground, then we saw the forming of the stable that became dominant quickly and that was Defiance. They've since gone down hill. Imploded so to speak. I joined the Asylum because I liked the way the Doc was running things.

"Now comes to the fun and games. This coming Wednesday Management have pitted two current Asylum Members against one another. And for the big prize of the lot, the Doc's Universal Championship. As my old self would say, I'm not ready for this kind of match. But as every one knows now, I'm not my old self. I'm a new incarnation. And I will say this now. Doc. I am ready for you. I'm not scared of you like my old self would be. I'm not scared of any tactic you will try and throw at me. I'm not scared of you full stop."

Mastermind began to laugh, but then stopped.

"These next few days are going to be fun and games. Yes you may come out and say I failed against Sebastian Duke, I failed against Loverboy Vinnie Lane in two of my important matches to date. You can't bring them up now as bait or ammo, because I've just did. Yes I may be on a 5 match losing streak, and it might be 6 if things don't go well Monday, but it won't be 7, because I'm coming for that title.

"You thought that you could just sit back and wait til the up coming Pay Per View before you defended the title against Lane. That's not the case now is it Doc?

"You are going to say bring it Mastermind, I will bring it Doc, and so much more. Don't you worry about that. You're grasp on that belt is slipping. And it's about to slip into my hands. Something that I thought would never happen. But never say never Doc. You taught me that, and so much more. I've escaped from your Asylum, so I can turn it around on you. Use everything I can get on you. I may be running now, but I won't on Wednesday.

"So you continue to sit back, and do nothing but plan. I'll do the work, and beat your ass."

Mastermind sits back and smiles, then he ends the promo. The camera fades out.
