I woke up and covered in hay. I don't recall how I arrived but I'm here. Somehow I recognized Eric, but have no memory on how I know the man. He continued to leave papers and videos of me. My memory slowly began to creep its way back, but still some blur that leaves me uncertain about everything. I told Eric I had two tickets to get to the XWF pay per view, but I had no idea what I was going to do there. Eric drove me to the airport and off I went to Turning Point.

I sat and watched these guys battle. Nothing was jogging my memory until he came out...

Sebastian Duke.

I remembered the self-proclaimed Lord of Darkness and maker of the Brotherhood.

A few days later....

Eli is laying in the barn that sits near Eric Rex's home.

"Many people I see, man... I don't know. Their faces are in the unknown, but you... you Sebastian are one I recognize far too well. Ya see, man.. I looked through the history books. I heard what ya had to say about our upcoming battle and I must say, man, I'm a bit upset. You seem to remember all about Mark Flynn. It was Mark who defeated me one on one and it was you who defeated Mark Flynn, and while you spoke of our match.. you failed to give the people the entire truth.

Let's visit the old story that is Sebastian Duke.

A man who was aligned with another group of boys that were feared called The Black Circle. John Madison came along and buried you because you were nothin' but a bag boy in his eyes. I came along and worked with them, but the difference is I didn't carry their bags and kiss their ass. Ya see, man.... Duke came back and vowed to get his revenge. Everything he did or spoke about was to end the Black Circle and strike revenge down on John Madison. He even tried to create a group of failures collectively as The Brotherhood. People abandoned him and the cause... because they knew Duke was just the bag boy of Johnny. When Duke came back... it was to usher in this fear. It was to bring the darkness among the XWF. It was to cause the pain he suffered. He was coming back and would be the man on top. Truth is, though... his first match upon his triumphant return was against me. What happened? Heh. He lost.

Ya see, Duke likes to play broken records. No matter how much he wants to be different from anyone else, he isn't. Nah man.. he's the same damn person with different coat of skin on. He thinks I parade about my win and loss record. When, Duke... when have I bragged about my record? When have I bragged about even being a champion? Not once. This goes back to the truth of what I preached, man. I arrived in the XWF proclaiming about the Almighty and that I would cleanse the XWF of it sin. Anything... Everything that I did was aligned with that. The titles.. the wins.. it was to bring about awareness of the justice of the Almighty. It was to prove that everyone is weak.

A man they called Angelus came and vowed to go after me. We went into a War Games match and he choked me out. He praised himself about what he had accomplished as if he killed some eternal god. I never said I was unstoppable. I never said I was anything above. My message is what is above. I'm a human. I'm trapped in this flesh and blood like everyone else. If I hold my breath, I'll pass out. If you put a knife up to my skin and slice away, I'll bleed and scar.

Everyone who I've ever faced gets these fallacies in their head about who I am. They need me to be in a category.

People often claimed I was a Chrisitan.

Others came and said I was just a fluke and liar, leading a group of people to their demise.

'It's a cult!' they would yell. Why am I leading a cult? Because I speak things that you don't understand? Because the words I've spoken over ya didn't sit well with your stomach? Truth is truth no matter if ya like it or not.

Sebastian Duke likes to make ya think I love praising myself. I've never been about praising myself, man. I've always pointed it back to the Almighty.

Ya think wins and championships meant so much to me? Go back and see what I did. Go back and watch how I reacted compared to everyone else. I never got upset and made excuses to losing a fight, whether it was a briefcase cash in, tag team match, or anything else. I never raised my titles in the air and proclaimed to be the top of the mountain. In fact, I HANDED OVER titles. You can label me crazy, but I do something others don't. I stick to my words. I practice what I preach. I'm a speaker of TRUTH!

Sebastian spent so much energy trying to oppose the Black Circle and destroy John Madison. But what happened? In the end, man... Duke went crawling back to the Circle when he was summoned. Duke isn't a king or lord... he's a bus boy. He can proclaim darkness and lordship all he wants, but actions... as they say... speak louder than words. If ya can't beat him, join him... right Duke? That's what this Lord of Darkness did. He couldn't keep his word and FAILED! Do you know who kept his word even when people abandoned him? Do ya know who kept his word when so many called him crazy and challenged him to battles? Eli James. I don't need to adapt or change or go with the flow, because truth isn't relative. I age but truth remains the constant. No matter what you say, man... you'll never be able to oppose it.

Ya see.. Duke wants to make me look like I called myself GREAT or GOD... that I make excuses. Duke loves to live in his dream world. He likes to roll with the darkness look and feel.

Oh great... Lord of Darkness...

LET THERE BE LIGHT.... and there was light. And where light is, darkness no longer exists. Then, great Lord of Darkness... where is your kingdom? No matter how much darkness you like to spread.... a strike of a match will always invade its space and reveal there's no reason to hide. All that's left is a man who fails and when he does.. he crawls back to someone else to be a bag boy.

When is Duke going to join the ranks of the Three Kings? After all, John is with them.

Your kingdom has fallen, Duke. There's nothin' left to do but to soak in misery.

You can say all ya want about me, but my actions have backed every word I've spoken these last several years... the same cannot be said about you. But go on, man... say these things about me that you THINK is true... all they have to do is go listen.

Truth is on my side... what's on yours?
