This promo is TV Y rated.

You have been warned.

Happy piano music plays as the lights slowly turn on in what appears to be a wacky looking mock castle. The castle walls are a variety of colors that just don't sit well with the eyes, like green on yellow, orange on purple, etc. There are children's drawings plastered all over the walls, some look like the host of whatever this show might be about, Johnathan Heartsford. Others look like strange little puppet creatures of a dragon, a canine king, a feline queen, and a big bad guy in wrestling gear getting whooped by the knight and the royal family. There's a red and white banner hanging from the high wall. The initials A. K. are dead center of it. The puppets of the king and queen are directly above it. The dog has a big smile on his face while the cat points her scepter below towards the initials. The dragon and the villain are below it. The dragon has big, googly eyes while the villain is shaking his fist right at the initials. Just then, computer generated sparkles shine around the puppet crew one by one. After the sparkles fade, the puppets blink and jump out of the banner and start dancing happily in tune with the introductory music.

As the music nears it's end, the fake drawbridge lowers and introduces Sir Heartsford with a disarming smile on his face. He does a short wave as all of the puppets sit down at a round table. There are four tiny seats and one regular sized chair. They all sit down and enjoy a quick meal, which consists of a ham and cheese sandwich with a side of celery and a banana. The intro fades out for the title to appear with a blue sky background.

Lessons from a Knight

Episode 1: M the Meanie

The title gets separated like curtains from a play. We open to the kitty queen in a pretty purple dress pacing about in the royal bedroom. She has her hands behind her back as she 'walks' around the room rather quickly. The actress portraying her has a cockney accent, making her sound like a very stereotypical English woman.

"Meoh dear! Meoh my! Where is my royal pudding pie? I have just received some terrible mews!"

The queen keeps pacing, a little slower this time so she doesn't 'trip' over her dress.

"King Henry said he had to make sure that Drake the Dragon was well fed and in good health... meoh I'd wish he'd hurry! We need to be ready for something purr-etty scary!"

Almost in an instant, the canine king opens the door to the royal bedroom to check on the panicking queen. The queen sees that the king has arrived. She 'runs' over to him, giving him a tight hug as he closes the door. The actor playing the king is trying to impersonate Scooby Doo as he talks. He doesn't even try to put on any kind of accent as he does so.

"Ruff, Queen Jean, ruou reem ro re rohking re."

Queen Jean loosens the hug and walks backwards, away from King Henry. The puppet coughs before speaking again."

"Ruhat reems to re the roblem, my queen?"

"Meoh, my dear king, I have gotten some rather bad mews today!"

"Ruad ruews?"

"Very bad mews indeed! Read this letter that I found beside the draw bridge!"

The queen pulls up a comically large aged paper from the floor. She then holds it over to the point where the king can see it. The camera pans out enough to the point where the contents of the note take up most of the screen, leaving the duo of puppets at the lower left hand corner. The person reading the contents of the letter, which is also presumably the voice of the main villain of the episode, has a very thick Austrailian accent.

Dear King and Queen of Idiotville,

I am coming to remove you both from the throne!
Don't even bother sending your stupid knight to fight me.
I'll crush him under my feet before he could even touch me.

Signed, M

"M?"

The king gulps audibly.

"Ruoh, ruhis is ruerrirule! Ruhat are we ronna ro?"

"I have meow idea. Purrobably send Drake over to see how far away M is from us."

Almost a nanosecond later, Drake the Dragon flies into the royal bedroom, barging through the door as he does so. He is wearing the king's crown for some reason not explained. The actor portraying him speaks as an odd mixture of Bullwinkle and Uncle Grandpa. The puppet is being carried by visible string around the puppet's wings, legs, and hands.

"Did somebody call my name?"

The king, noticing that the dragon is wearing the crown, jumps up and tries to get the crown off of the Dragon.

"Thank goodness, Drake. We need you to look out for M past the path, just to see how close he is to our castle. You can do that, can't you, Drake?"

The puppet nods its head, causing the eyes to bounce up and down and the crown to fall over, landing nicely onto the king's head.

"You can count on me, Queen Jean! I will be sure that M the Meanie never makes it past the sea!"

With that, the dragon puppet flies out of the window. The scene then transitions to the next one, by means of it running off to the left side of the screen. The castle is now far off into the background, with the drawbridge raised and a pathway right before the moat. The sun and the sky look like they were made with watercolors, while the grass and path look like they were made with markers. Drake is flying not too high off of the ground, but high enough to the point where it looks like he's in the sky.

"I wonder where that mean ol' M fellow is. I want to rough 'im up before he even gets to the castle!"

Just then, Johnathan Heartsford is seen walking on the brown path, looking directly up at the puppet. Drake doesn't even notice Johnathan at first, so the knight has to waves his arms in order to get his attention. Even when he does that, Drake doesn't notice him. Slightly agitated, he places his hands on his hips. He looks around and places his hands over his mouth and nose, getting ready to shout.

"Hey there, Drake! What are you up to this fine day?"

Hearing this, Drake flies down to Johnathan's level to share a couple of words with the knight.

"Oh, hello there, Sir Knight! I'm just doing a little favor for the King and Queen of Heartville!"

"Really? Well, what have they tasked you with, good Dragon? Did they want you to collect the freshest of spring water again?"

"Not this time, Sir Knight; I've been told to be on the look out for a rather rude person that wants to overtake the throne!"

"And who might this dastardly fellow be? Snidley Whiplash? Dr. Evil?"

"Why, not those two! You've taken care of them last time they tried to overtake the castle! I'm looking for a man who goes by the name of M."

Johnathan chuckles a bit.

"M? Well, I'm sure he's no threat to the castle. In fact, I have to face him in the arena on Monday. So just go on back to the castle and tell King Henry and Queen Jean that I have this under control!"

"Now that is surely something I'd hear the knight say to his loyal idiots!"

M makes his way onto the screen. The puppet is about Johnathan's size and wearing wrestling gear. Drake the Dragon tries to fly up towards this beast of a puppet, but M punches the much smaller dragon. The punch was so powerful, it sends the Dragon flying all the way back to the castle, letting out a little cartoony scream as it flies back to the castle. M laughs evilly as Johnathan just looks at him with hatred.

"Aw, what's the matter Aerial? Did I hurt one of your best friends? Well that was just a demonstration of what I'll bring you on Monday! Heck, why do we have to wait until Monday? Let's fight right here, right now!"

M takes a fighting stance, ready for what appears to be a very stupid looking fight. However, Johnathan does not take up a fighting stance. Instead, he just shakes his head 'no' and glares at the puppet that resembles his opponent on Madness.

"I am a man of honor, M. I do not fight my opponents until the date has come."

The large puppet laughs at Johnathan mockingly.

"I knew you'd chicken out! Just what I expected. You aren't a knight, you are a coward!"

"What you view as confidence, I view as respect for the rules. If anyone here is a coward, it would be you, trying to provoke me to a fight so soon! You should be ashamed of yourself. How did you even manage to get out of your dark mansion anyways?"

Before M has a chance to respond in a complete sentence, Johnathan shushes him.

"You know what? Forget it. Talking to you is wasting precious energy for the both of us. I want you to train for our match instead of wasting time like this. If you want to challenge my knighthood and remove these two from their rightful throne, you'll have to pass through me first; and I can assure you that will not be an easy task."

Johnathan walks away from the puppet as the intro music from before starts playing again. The puppet takes a couple of steps forward before deciding that he isn't worth it. He turns around and 'walks' away. The show then ends. Suddenly, static shows up right before the end credits. It continues to annoy the viewer's eardrums before the television shuts off.
